This place has the aesthetics and has a huge menu with great options for everyone! Everything sounded delicious. However the singular kiosk to order as well as the very limited seating made the experience not the best. We had to wait in line to order as there was only one kiosk and no one was there to advise you the process or greet you. Seems standoffish. As mentioned the limited seating you were forced to take your drink to go, and stand to wait for the order to be ready. The building is gorgeous and love the concept however small improvements would turn this to a five star easily. Drinks were great, service was fast, and plenty of parking.

Coffee has a bitter after taste. Ice melted so fast it became watered down. I am not sure what all the excitement is about this place.

A staff member greeted us with samples of their famous shoofly pie which was warmed and tasty. The cashier was friendly. They have something for all interests in the gift shop. It is the sort of landmark that promises something memorable, or at least something sweet. Inside, the place leans heavily into its role as a stop-off for visitors. Shelves are filled with faux-Amish goods, hex signs, and a cheerful assortment of bric-a-brac, along with shirts that seem very proud of nearby towns with names that invite, shall we say a certain kind of humor. It feels less like a bakery and more like a general store that wandered into a theme. The people working there are genuinely kind, and generous with samples, which is always a wise and welcome strategy. We tried a bit of the shoo fly pie, and in the past we've tried some cookies, root beer, and ice cream. They were all perfectly fine. Pleasant, even. But they did not distinguish themselves from the many other places in Lancaster County offering the same treats with equal or better competence. Nothing here is bad. In fact, it is all quite enjoyable in the moment. But it is not something I would go out of my way for again. Far less so when the tourist busses are around. It is a place you stop at because you are already there, because the windmill caught your eye, because someone offers you a sample and you say yes. Three stars, for doing what it does well enough, in a place where "well enough" is abundant.

Oh man, where to start - I love this place!! I've not been to the nursery section, cause I have a…read moreton of plants already, but the farmer's market has everything and then, some. *Note: freshly made sandwiches are Outstanding and inexpensive. If you're going on a picnic or are out and about and want some good, quick grub; this is your place. My hubby got a cold cut, packed with fresh veg, meat, cheese; a half was enough to fill his tummy for the rest of the day. In the center of the store (it's kinda cramped - I advise going on a week day), there are watermelons (yellow/red), peaches, plums, strawberries, corn on the cob and to your immediate left, popcorn/snacks, followed by a frozen section (mashed potatoes, pot pies, casseroles, soups, creamed chipped beef, gravy...), follow that around to a refrigerated section (salads, pickles, puddings, sandwiches...), then there's the grill (hot/cold sandwiches, hotdogs, chips); I forgot about the cookies, shoo fly pies and there's a deli - SEE; this is why you absolutely must make this a stop by. There are tables outside, plenty of room to stretch, relax and eat.

It is a beautiful farm filled with trees, plants, succulents... anything you need for your flower/plant needs. But it is a secret gem that hides the most amazing sandwich shop in the area. It is filled with fresh bread, baked goods and most amazing pies, fresh fruit and vegetables. But all of it hides this amazing sandwich shop that has one of the best Philly Cheese Steaks. It is gooey with melted cheese and if you ask for chopped hot peppers... you can get the perfect blend of banana peppers and jalapeño peppers to get the kick! You don't want to miss this store if you are in the area! We stayed in a nearby Airbnb tiny home. You can't beat the kind attentive service and the care by which they make every sandwich. Everything is so fresh and well made! No indoor seating... so be ready for the heat if you plan to eat here.
