The place seemed nice, our waiter was nice. The food was ok, everyone else's plate was warm, except for mine. The flautas were nice and crispy but my rice and beans were cold. I had the waiter return my plate to get warm food and my plate came back with a long dark black hair. It wasn't mine that's for sure, as mine is short and lite brown. The waiter, although we are in our 50/60s the waiter still card us. Which I thought it was ridiculous to do. We don't look under 32 at all.

I have always loved Lindo Mexico. The salsa and chips are wonderful. They even come with queso. The lunch specials are only $10.99! You get to choose from like 10 different plates. Food portions are good. The ambiance and service has always been great! Today I ordered beef taco salad and my mom got the combo plate. We both had a lot to take home still. Never had any problems here. Food is delicious and service is awesome!

We had a wonderful experience at Lindo Mexico Grill & Seafood. The atmosphere was beautiful with traditional Mexican décor and wrought iron details, and the staff all wore traditional outfits which added to the charm. We were seated quickly and served chips, salsa, and queso--so good! I ordered the Costa Bravo, and it was absolutely delicious--the baked potato that came with it was honestly the best I've ever had. My husband ordered the chicken enchiladas. He thought they could have used a little more chile, but they were still good. After trying my dish, though, he already decided next time he's going for the carne asada! Great food, friendly service, and a warm atmosphere--we'll definitely be back.

Lindo Mexico has the closest thing to Tex-Mex food that we have found in Albuquerque. And it is very good, though not maybe quite as good as our favorite restaurants in Dallas and Austin. Still we enjoy the food, drinks, comfortable booths and Mexican music. A generous basket of chips and queso/salsa come with each sitting. Very nice bar, too.

Stopped by here to have dinner with a friend and I was not disappointed. Walking into the restaurant, it is so lively inside, it's awesome! The food was so good, I got a very spicy shrimp dish and it was the perfect amount of heat. As you kept eating it, it got hotter. Definitely recommend this place!

The food was good, but not extraordinary. One thing that was not quite right, fajitas with no tortillas!!! No tortillas with a $20 meal! We had to pay for tortillas. Where do they do that at? That's not right. The salsa and queso were good. No condiments on the table. The restaurant itself is very nice and the service was okay! Everyone looked professional and were very nice.

It is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town, first the ambience it feels like a little piece of home, second, the bar their delicious drinks specially Susan's pina colada just try it and the food?! Just amazing I get my Plato La playa every time with a mix of fried fish filet, fried shrimps and bacon wrapped shrimp YUUUUUM, a Sunday morning ritual for me and my partner. And extra points for the live music on the weekends and holidays love me some mariachi or a trio next to my table serenading me while I enjoy my drink

Give Lindo a try! In town for the Balloon Festival & we're so glad we didn't look at reviews prior to going to dinner. Great choice! We had a very positive experience, friendly staff, festive atmosphere & decor - everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves. Our server Arlett was sweet (don't think I have ever said that about a server before) she was attentive, refilling drinks, answering questions all with a beautiful smile. Our dishes were very good, totally enjoyed the two tasty cheesy chile rellenos and thought the refried beans had lots of flavor, my husband liked the chicken enchiladas with verde sauce. Great guacamole too. Chips with salsa & a cheese dip are always a good start to a meal when they taste this fresh. Neighborhood looks like it's going through a transition, but again totally positive experience!

Let me start off by first saying do not be put off by the location! It's in a sketchy area, however, the restaurant itself is very nice! Service was amazing. We were seated promptly and our server was extremely attentive and pleasant. Drinks were delicious and food was very tasty. The ceviche is in the top 5 best I've ever had! The only downfall is that it closes at 8 pm. I understand because like I said before it's not in the most ideal area.

Went to there on Cinco de mayo and the enchiladas plate was barely warm. I will not be going back.

The food was beautifully presented, but on the tasteless side. I took my leftovers with me but wound up throwing them out.

Yes, I get the hype, and in my opinion, totally worth it!…read more I came here on a Sunday night and they were very busy. The place is huge so they have plenty of tables available. I stood on line to order for maybe 10 minutes or so. I had the Carne Adovada Burrito, one soft Beef Taco, and rice and beans. Everything was excellent and tasted delicious. The price was very reasonable. I wish we had a restaurant like this on Long Island.

Directly across the street from University of New Mexico's main entrance, this place is packed when school is in session. This place is huge, but not at first glance. Walk into the retro-looking, Western themed dining room, and you'll see a huge menu board above the order counter. There is are several freestyle soda machines in the middle of the room. There are little digital screens in the corner where you watch for your order number and a counter in the corner where you go pick up your food. It's not until you go into the next room that you discover there is another "next room," and then another. There is a lot of art on the walls, including several John Wayne pictures. The girl at the counter who took our order was an absolute ray of sunshine--so friendly and sweet. We ordered the green chili cheeseburger with onion rings and the daily special which is the "green pile-up" (beans, hash browns, scrambled egg, and green chili beef). The good came our talented quickly, and was quite yummy. Frontier is an Albuquerque classic. If it old? Yes, but it has a huge faithful following, not including the things of UNM students that pack this giant diner during the school year. It may not be a "must try" for some, but if you want Albuquerque nostalgia, this is your place. Btw--it's pretty darn cheap,!

We know good Mexican food, as we are from San Diego, and wanted to try the southwest fare. WHAT AN AMAZING CHOICE! The lovely hostess was charming, engaging and sweet (wish i had her name) and our waiter (Edgar) was authentic, personable and fun to chat with. We had been at a movie and had eaten a bit too much popcorn so we did not order a lot. The three of us shared the free blue corn (not fried) chips with three salsa samples. We then shared a salad and the amazingly good four taco sampler. Thank you Herencia (Enrique the owner, and staff) for this wonderful evening.

Server didn't check on us too often and let someone at the table run out of water for 5 minutes until we asked for more. I had the pork al pastor ($26). It was cooked well and seasoned really nicely. Lobster enchiladas were nice but unique just to be unique. I asked for recommendations and all of the options were the most expensive on the menu which was odd to me. If they have a cheaper lunch menu it might be worth trying, but I think the dinner isn't worth it for the price. Four entrees and a soda was $130 plus tip.

I had the house special chili ribs and the ribs aren't flavorful. There is no distinctive taste to these ribs but chilied. But since the chili is tasteless themselves, it doesn't contribute to the overall flavor of the ribs anyway. 2/5 Stuff sopadillas with beef is very large and filling. For the lunch menu, the price is rather affordable for how much food I ordered. The tastes? I can't tell because it is comparable to any other restaurants. Nothing really stands out to me. 4/5 The regular sopadilla with honey as a side dish is amazing and you can't really go wrong with sopadilla and honey 5/5. Chips and salsa is continuously refilled as requested. Overall service is average, with water refill being done per request, not automatically. I personally would take tourists here to experience the cute vibe of New Mexico that this restaurant gives: a cute brunch with the ladies, a nice hang out and gathering with friends.
