Half a Lindo's Breakfast. (I forgot yo take a picture before I dug in)
Jacquelyn T.

We haven't eaten here for some time, life is busy! Had breakfast this morning and it did not disappoint. I had the Lindo's breakfast, home fries covered in country gravy and topped with eggs scrambled with ham. My husband had the homemade corned beef hash with eggs. We both liked our meals and wondered why we hadn't been here in so long.

Breakfast quesadilla, Chile Verde Fries, French Toast and my nephews smile which speaks for itself lol

Had to try this location since I had a great experience at their other location. Didn't disappoint. The food was amazing and the employees were very friendly. We tried the green chili fries which were really good. The French toast plate which was delicious and the breakfast quesadilla that was very tasty and filling. This place is becoming my favorite local restaurant and I tell everyone that they should try their food. Parking is not a problem and the restaurant is very clean.

Nice clean place.

The staff here is very friendly. I ordered an iced tea ($4) and looked at the menu. I'd heard there were new senior specials added recently, I did see those but they were still over $15 per plate. The regular meals are $17-$20 each. I hear the food is good, and they serve hearty portions, but I took my tea to go. If you're in the mood for lots of food and a drink, it'll cost you $25 minimum. I just don't know who affords to eat out anymore. I wish this cute establishment luck. I know being in business is tough right now and I'm sorry about that. I went home with my $4 iced tea and made a turkey sandwich and saved myself over $20.

Patty melt, and onion rings

We love this place! We've came here many times to eat in the last for sure at least 10 years. The people who own this place are always happy and full of smiles. The customers all seem happy too. The food is all good! I've never gotten anything there that I didn't like. The ambience is a good home feeling. Nice clean, small diner. You can call in your orders too if you want to take out. Here's a picture of my veggie sandwich and fried zucchini and my hubby's patty melt and onion rings takeout. Yummy!

Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs

Food was tasty. Service was awesome. We had the chicken fried steak, chilaquelles and vegetable egg white omelet. We also tried the pumpkin pancake which was amazing!!!! Our server was super sweet and she came Often to make sure we had refills and whatever we needed. We will be back!

Amazing coffee

Did steak and burger close or just change names?

No it's still Steak n Burger. They just rebranded and changed the name to hopefully spur more interest. I spoke to Rodrigo, the son, couple days ago and he explained it to me.

The only reason it caught my eye was because our tax preparer was just down the street. It was obviously well loved by the locals after reading their great reviews and seeing a full parking lot. And this was on a Wednesday. We only had time for a quick bite, ordering nothing out of the ordinary. A quickie breakfast of sausage, scrambled eggs, and pancake, were all we had, but everything was nicely done. The pancake was big, light and airy, served with a carafe of warm syrup and a huge scoop of butter. The scrambled eggs were moist and fluffy, the sausage was basically a Farmer John sausage patty that was properly warmed but not overcooked, and very good tasting. My only criticism was the coffee being too thin for my liking, but keeping our coffee mugs filled was something they definitely did well! The service was wonderful. They knew we were in a rush, and handled us with TLC the entire 35 minutes we had. What I do know is, I will be looking forward to our next tax appointment, hah, knowing our morning will start off right here. Next time...chicken fried steak, or maybe a bowl of hearty homemade soup, y'all!

I ordered the turkey club with fries, and it absolutely hit the mark. The sandwich had perfectly crispy bread with moist, flavorful turkey--every bite was spot on. The fries were just as impressive: crispy, well-seasoned, and seriously addictive. The real standout combo though? Dipping those fries in their house made ranch, so good. Definitely a meal I'll be thinking about and coming back for!

The last few times we've gone, the service has been extremely slow, even when it didn't seem overly packed, which made the whole experience feel dragged out. The food is still decent, but it's nothing out of this world anymore, just pretty basic compared to how I remember it. That said, my favorite dish is still the skillet with turkey, avocado, and bacon. It's a solid option and probably the one thing that keeps me coming back to give it another shot. They've changed the decor slightly over the years, and there's a nice little gift shop section right as you walk in, which adds some charm and gives it a cozy feel. The staff has always been nice and friendly, so no complaints there. I just wish the overall experience matched how good this place used to be, because it definitely had something special before.

Cutest coffee shop ever, with dogs welcome!…read more OK, this is honestly the cutest little coffee shop I've ever been to. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the sweetest staff, especially Hannah, who shared the adorable backstory of the place. The owners have a dog named Chai and struggled to find coffee shops that allowed dogs, so they decided to open their own... and that's how Chai Coffee Shop was born! You can definitely feel the dog-loving vibe everywhere, from the décor to the fact that pups are actually hanging out inside. Within minutes, one of the dogs came over and licked my toes (unexpected but hilarious ). It's such a warm, welcoming environment where people and pets can just relax. The ambiance is perfectly balanced bright and social up front, with a quieter, cozier section in the back if you want to read, study, or work. I had the cold brew, which was fully customizable. I told the server I wanted it sweet, and she nailed it! so delicious! I also tried their pumpkin cornbread (not quite pumpkin bread, not quite a muffin, but so good). They even have a secret menu I haven't tried yet, but I definitely will next time. Their espresso machine was temporarily down when I visited, but it didn't bother me at all, plenty of great options regardless and should be back up by Wednesday. Prices are super reasonable and right in line with other coffee shops, but the vibe here is what really sets it apart. It's cozy, dog-friendly, and just genuinely joyful. Can't wait to come back soon!
