Sammy was especially great--friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Her customer service really stood out. It's refreshing to have someone who takes pride in making sure customers have a good experience. More restaurants could take a page from Sammy's book because good customer service can make just as much of a difference as good food. Sammy made the visit feel personal and comfortable without being overbearing. The restaurant wasn't too busy when I visited, which made for a nice, chill atmosphere. My only criticism was the coffee being too thin for my liking, but keeping our coffee mugs filled was something they definitely did well! The service was wonderful. They knew we were in a rush, and handled us with TLC the entire 35 minutes we had. What I do know is, I will be looking forward to our next tax appointment, hah, knowing our morning will start off right here. At that point, we told them we could not fathom paying for our food. The manager said he would comp the drinks. That is unacceptable as the food was the main issue. Casey ended up comping the food and we paid for the drinks we had. Very disappointed in the fact that the manager did not seem apologetic or that there was any issue with this type of service. We appreciated that gesture of comping the food, but it did not make up for sitting in the heat for 1 hour and 20 minutes, repeatedly asking about our food. While we sat there, I watched to see if the servers would pull the refried beans off the food line and replace it but sadly, nope. I figured since we are loyal/regular customers they would have at least offered to comp my wife's meal since she didn't eat it all but nope. You should treasure your customers.
