Over the years staying at the nearby Harrah's resort, I have been sent to this taco shop several times. Never had anything but great burritos, plates, and friendly service from here! The chorizo plate is my personal favorite but honestly I really haven't found anything we didn't like. I feel like we have tried a good cross-section of the menu, breakfast, rolled tacos, asada and more. It has all been very well prepared, good portions and great bang for the buck. I have them at 4.5 stars overall for the 6-10 times visited, which I'll round up to 5. No other taco shops around nearby to compare them to, but they have been very good to us. By the way, we've also been to the other two locations nearby in Valley center and they're exactly the same, just as awesome!

Also in their salsa bar they have extra pico de gallo! What?! That's usually an extra cost too! They had 2 types of red and green sauces. I'm opinionated on how I feel that hot sauces make up a good taco shop. They were fire!!! All good, flavorful, and spicy the way I like it! My favorite was the dark red one and the creamy green one. All were spicy though in a good way! We ordered cheese quesadilla, cali supreme burrito, and el jefe rolled tacos. Can't go wrong with cheese quesadilla it's so simple and so delicious. I noticed the cali supreme burrito didn't come with pico but good thing they had the extra on the side because it was added onto every bite. My husband and son loved it. I freaking loved my el jefe rolled tacos! You don't even know how surprised I was and blown away at how amazing they were! They included all the toppings such as lettuce, pico, sour cream, guac, cheese, and the nail in the coffin was the carne on top! They didn't skimp out on anything! The flavoring was there, the hot sauces were bomb, the hot carrots, perfection! It's always going to be a must stop every time I go to Harrah's now!

I waited a minute, no service or acknowledging me, so I made sure to catch the bartender who was talking with another customer, I went out of my way to smile and give him eye contact. I had to ask for a menu... as I was waiting for a menu a white couple sat down at the bar and I watch this same bartender get them water and take their order for their drinks, So I decided to move to the bar directly to get his attention and get service. Well, he still did not give me eye contact, he clearly looked busy, however he managed to service other patrons and even that same couple was able to oder chips and salsa, rec'd their chips and salsa and I just sat, waiting for him to say something to me, at least give me water! As I waited over 5 minutes and he didn't acknowledge me, say anything. I even had to get a napkin from a table and wipe down the area I was sitting.. This is so unacceptable Blatant disregard for me!
