Restaurant shared the same space with the Boba tea Authentic Chinese dishes that had a good mix of spice in the ingredient.

"Hao Hao" means "Good Good" in Chinese, and honestly, that name fits perfectly! If they opened a location on the West side, I have no doubt it would be a big hit. The restaurant shares its space with the ice cream shop next door, divided by a half wall. You can't walk between the two, but you can easily see and wave to someone on the other side, a quirky and fun setup. The decor is simple and feels like it might be leftover from the previous restaurant. Our server was friendly, though the woman with short hair seemed a bit less friendly, maybe we caught her right before a break? Oh well. We ordered Hot & Sour Soup, Salt and Pepper Pork Chop, Shrimp Pan-Fried Noodles, and Dried Scallop & Crab Meat Fried Rice. We always use Hot & Sour Soup as a first-visit test at Chinese restaurants, and this one passed, loaded with ingredients and just the right amount of spice. The fried rice was flavorful without being greasy, and the pork chop was delicious and perfectly cooked. You can tell they use fresh oil, the pork wasn't dark or oily at all. The pan fried noodles were tasty, though I wished they were a bit crispier, as they came out softer than I expected. Portions? Huge. Prices? Reasonable. Parking? Easy. We'll definitely be back to try more! "Hao Hao" means "Good Good" in Chinese, and honestly, that name fits perfectly! Hao Hao Chinese Beef Chow Fun was very good, generous serving to have for family style meal. Highly recommend. Chicken Chow Mein is another good dish filled with veggies, chicken, mushrooms over a crispy noodle and gravy. Good stuff. Salt and Pepper Pork Chops another good dish to share family style, great flavor. Black Bean Fish this dish is okay, generally love black bean sauce over anything, just didn't wow me. Chicken and Broccoli was more American style, we prefer the gai lon Chinese broccoli over the regular broccoli. Eggplant is a dish I would not normally order, something my daughter chose, was good if you are an eggplant person otherwise so many other entrees to order. Fried Rice as usual, a very good compliment to order with good results and most everyone enjoys. Fish good tasting fish with compliments in a family style setting. Beef Cutlets always goes well with completing a meal. Overall good Chinese restaurant and nice to have in North Scottsdale and Phoenix, was told this was a split from Nee House.

Go early so you don't have to wait for the table. Everything we ordered are delicious! Soup comes in family/sharing style portion. They brought a huge bowl of soup to the table and put the soup into individual small bowls for you at the table. Hot and sour soup is tasty. Crab meat with fish maw soup is delicious and I want more and more. Rock cod fish filet with black bean sauce is the best! We ordered every time. Scallops with XO sauce is delicious. I like that the scollops are a bit dense. Shrimp with lobster sauce is good. The eggplants with hot garlic sauce is tasty. Braided string beans are classic and perfectly cooked.

Ordered 3 items. 1. Wor Wonton soup. Very good: 4.5/5 2. Walnut shrimp. Excellent. 4.9/5 3. Chicken curry, ordered minimum spice- no spice, very mild please! 1.5/5. It was very spicy. Several hot peppers. For an older person, it's pretty much inedible. Sorry, can't eat it.

Amazing Chinese food here. I have been coming here for some chow and the food quality is consistent, tastes great. It is a small restaurant so I tried to come here before the rush. My favorite is the tofu dish and pork chop!

Hao Hao Chinese Restaurant located in Scottsdale serving hearty good quality Chinese cuisine. Our last stop before driving back to Vegas. Location is good lots of parking. I like the entrance to this restaurant the garage door roll up idea, modern style, cute and simple decor. A simple menu that has a good selection of dishes to choose from. They share an area next to it called Rewind Treats serves Boba drinks and ice cream. We ordered the Vegetarian Eggrolls, the Salt Fish and Chicken Fried Rice and the Fried Pork Chop with salt and pepper (bone in). Food came out fresh, quick and very tasty. We ate everything no to go box needed. Service was good. We're glad we made this choice to have lunch here. When you're in the area stop and grab something good to eat and drink at Hao Hao Chinese Restaurant.

Very good food !! Super clean and well prepared We could not get enough. Excellent service as well!

Recommend: Yes! Food: delicious. Service: was a bit slow. Not sure if they were short staff or still hiring. They run the Rewind Treats and the restaurant together. Note: not good for large groups. The place is small, and if there are multiple large groups, u may have to wait. There are more tables for 4 than any other seating. Finally got to try this place out. We ordered the west lake beef soup, dried scallop and crab meat fried rice, snow pea leaves, fried calamari with salt and pepper, and the Hao Hao's special fried noodle. Overall food were good. Some dishes were a bit slightly salty but not too crazy. I really like their west lake beef soup. The fried rice was also really good but some may not like the seafood fragrance. The snow pea leaves are tender and isn't tough. The calamari tasted bland since the seasoning and the onions were all well mixed/tossed. But they were okay if u get some of it and put it on top of the calamari. Lastly, the Hao Hao special noodle had beef, chicken, and shrimp. Personally, I think the seafood fried noodle would be better instead of the one we got. Also posted the hours since they didn't have hours posted.

Hao Hao is new Chinese restaurant in Scottsdale. The owners sold Nee House and opened this one. Food is exactly how I remember Nee House used to be. The menu is simpler here and the restaurant is set up more of a cafe (casual) style. Great location, right off of 101 & Via De Ventura. We had triple delight and green beans today. Both delicious!! Will be back for more and post pictures. Highly recommend!!

I received news from friends that a new Chinese restaurant was opening in Scottsdale and it turns out to be former owners of Nee House. I hadn't been to Nee House in years, so when I heard that a veteran chef had decided to return to the restaurant business I was ecstatic to try them out again. There is not much ambiance or Chinese decor inside yet as they recently overtook a previous restaurant. That's alright, because I mainly came here for the food and the flavors are just as delicious as I remember! We came near opening time and beat the lunch rush. We ordered a few dishes to share and they came out steadily. I ordered a plate of Shaking Filet Mignon, Fried Pork Chop with Salt Pepper, Garlic with Snow Pea Leaf, and Beef Chow Fun. They all come plated family style and the portions are abundant. I really enjoyed the Fried Pork Chops and Filet Mignon, they were tender and savory especially when served hot and fresh out the kitchen. I can't wait to try their Mandarin Pork Chops or the Dried Scallop and Crab Meat Fried Rice on my next visit. They are also conjoined with a boba shop, which would be a nice treat for dessert. We are long time customers and it's great to have another Cantonese-style dining option to choose from. We will definitely be back soon!

Best Chinese food around! And yet I drive 45 minutes because it's not "around" where we live…read more I have no idea how it's been five years of coming to this restaurant that I didn't write a review. The food is outstanding, the service is beyond perfection, and we are never disappointed. Never! And I don't use that word lightly. Sarah is always our server and she is incredible! I just can't say enough about her. We appreciate all she does. And the bus boys are always friendly and on top of your water, iced tea, and clearing the table after each phase of the meal. Our go two items are first the New York egg roll. You cannot go wrong. We've also had many of their soups, which come with fresh fried wontons, sweet-and-sour and mustard sauce. We enjoy a nose-running mix (lol) of these two items, but yours doesn't have to be. And if you like shrimp, these jumbo shrimp will not disappoint. Our go to is always the sweet and pungent shrimp. It's incredible. Lightly fried, we can't come here without ordering them. The next go-to is the beef chow fun. You can order it with any meat, but this is our favorite. The meat is so tender. I absolutely love this noodle dish! They also have low mein, which is also delicious, but the chow fun we have to order at every visit. Next is their dried green beans. Perfectly cooked and fried, just enough that they're still crispy. They are so flavorful! My other favorite is their chicken and black bean sauce. On this trip, we didn't order it, I ordered the shrimp with snow peas. Both are incredible. I think one of the most impressive parts of this establishment is that the owner and manager always comes to every table, at some point during your meal. From start to finish this place is just perfection. I've tried, on multiple occasions, to get them to open a place out in Verrado - Buckeye Arizona, which is where we live, but to no avail. But I will never give up!

The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and had a great flavor. The broth in the wonton soup was clean, light, and delicious. My only disappointment was the wontons themselves. They were hallowed no filling, which isn't what I expected from wonton soup. Is that normal for this place or was it a mistake? (I'm not sure if that was a mistake or just how they prepare it, but it kept the meal from being excellent.) The packaging was also good everything arrived hot, secure, and nothing leaked or spilled. Overall I'd rate it a 7.5 out of 10

I've been to China Chili three times now, so I can safely say it's my favorite Chinese restaurant…read morein town. On my most recent visit, I stopped by on a Friday evening for dinner. They have complimentary parking in the front, side, and back of the restaurant. There aren't a ton of spots, but there's street parking close by too. Ambiance (3.5/5): Like most Chinese restaurants, China Chili is pretty no frills. Which isn't a problem for me at all, I'm there for the food. It's a spacious restaurant with both regular tables and circular tables that rotates (good for large groups sharing dishes). Service (4/5): Fantastic service is also not something I expect at a Chinese restaurant. Yet again, I'm there for the food. With that being said, service, while not overly friendly, is typically pretty efficient. Which I always appreciate. Drinks (4/5): Pretty much your standard soft drinks, tea, and a limited selection of alcoholic beverages. My favorite option is their buddha beer which you don't see in a lot of places. It's a lager and it's in a buddha-shaped bottle. It doesn't get much better than that. Food (5/5): The first time I came was for one of my favorite dishes... Peking duck. There aren't a ton of spots in Phoenix that have it, but out of the ones that do, China Chili serves it at a high level. You can go with either crepes or baos (additional surcharge). The duck is absolutely to die for. Flavorful, juicy meat with crispy skin that fits in perfectly into your mini "sandwich" with green onions and Hoisin sauce. For a reasonable price too. Their food outside of duck is of a similar quality. I especially like their flat noodles with beef. Even classic dishes like sesame chicken have a twist here. It's sliced chicken rather than fully breaded chicken. Just as good as the typical way, the sauce is delicious. My only complaint? They give you a pretty small helping of white rice with your dish. Outside of that, the portions are generous. Everything I've had at China Chili has been a hit. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

The teriyaki chicken dinner was the standout: a generous portion of glossy, savory-sweet chicken with sesame seeds, served with a neat mound of white rice. Everything was flavorful and satisfying without being overly heavy. Service matched the easygoing vibe--friendly, attentive staff kept things moving smoothly in a relaxed, unpretentious dining room that feels comfortable and inviting.
