Legitimately the worst Thai food I've eaten in Arizona. I am shocked at the number of good reviews they have. The pad Thai literally had zero flavor other than the chili they put on it. No lime, no tamarind, nothing but soggy, sad, sterile noodles and chili oil. The drunken noodles were slightly better because there was a hint of basil. No love, no flavor, nothing Thai about this garbage. The Deep Fried Veggies Rolls were obviously premade and microwaved. Garbage. The bbq pork fried rice was the only thing that was "ok". It barely qualifies as acceptable but it is way better than the noodle dishes. The fact that this place has so many positive reviews means that people either are being paid for reviews or have never had remotely decent Thai food in their lives. Stay away. read more

Highly recommend this place. We ordered the B2 boat noodles (brisket & meatball) and Poo Goong Obb Woon Sen (cellophane noodles with shrimp, bacon, mushroom, crab meat, ginger, veggies). Both dishes were DELICIOUS - just a bit too salty. Reminded me of authentic thai town restaurants in LA. Some lacking areas were that the waiters didn't check on us at all during the meal, and they play loud, copyright-free edm remixes of pop songs. Tried Chada Thai to go on N Scottsdale Rd and it was one of those meals where you plan to have leftovers... and then you look down and realize you've been taste-testing for 20 minutes straight. The servers were quick and polite an had the order ready to go when I arrived for pick up. There were plenty of seats, light music, and cozy lighting, definitely feels like authentic Thai food. Chicken Pad Thai (no tofu): 5/5 This one is the reason you come back. Perfect comfort balance of sweet/savory, chewy noodles that don't go weird in a takeout box, and solid chicken in every bite. If pad thai is your go-to order, this is a very safe (and very happy) decision. Pad See Ieww: 3.5/5 Not bad at all--still hits that cozy, savory noodle craving--but it didn't have the same, "I need this again tomorrow" magic as the pad thai. More of a good side character than the main event. Flavor just didn't hit as well as the pad Thai. Deep Fried Veggie Rolls: 3.5/5 Sauce is definitely what makes this dish! The outside was crunchy and inside was cooked perfectly, just not what you'd expect from a veggie roll. The flavor for me wasn't as full. Pro tip: order the chili sauce! It's the little add-on that turns "this is good" into "wait...why is this so much better now?" I ordered the ribeye special, I forget what it was called, but I think it had the name tiger in it. It was delicious, the only thing I would do differently in the future is ask for no peppercorn because every time I bit down on them that ruined the bite for me. I'm sure anybody that enjoys them would love it. The ribeye was prepared perfectly! It was very tasty and the accompanying sauce was delicious. Service was very rushed but they were super busy. I do love a good, hidden gem! Stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed it. The chicken satay was the best I think I've ever had. We came towards the end of lunch service and they had run out of the soup, which was a bummer but it's just an excuse to come back! Food was really good! Food was great and always has been but sadly they were short staffed (only one cook they said) so each of our entrees came separately over about 12-15 minutes. My husband and I had a very good meal at Chada Thai on a recent Thursday night... It had been a long day and neither of us felt like cooking, so when I suggested we go out for Thai food, he was agreeable. We ended up at this restaurant, which was formerly Noodles Ranch, and shared edamame, Pad Thai with Chicken and a Ginger Mixed Veggie Dish with Tofu. Medium Spice on both dishes. Service was friendly and quick, prices and portions were reasonable, atmosphere is comfortable but far from fancy. That said, it was a positive overall experience and we will likely be back soon! This was well made and really enjoyed! Customized to remove bell peppers Green Curry - the recommended more flavorful curry (compared to the red) and was enjoyed too! Nice spot for Thai food near my gym, tonight I went with a friend and we enjoyed ourselves sharing papaya salad, tempura avocado, Glass noodles and Tom Kha soup. The only issue was that they drizzle a mayo sauce on the avocado and it wasn't mentioned in the description of the starter. Overall the food was good and I would return. There is plenty of seating in the dining room including booths if you want to be cozy. Parking is free but can be difficult depending on the time and day of the week. The service was gracious and attentive. I was there for Dinner and service starts at 4:30pm and that is when the doors open. Check the hours before you plan on stopping by. read more

I had the most horrifically disgusting experience at this restaurant. Please do yourself a favor and go to a different Thai restaurant. I walked in and saw a steak special and the photo on the menu looked absolutely delicious. I ordered the steak after talking to the server and asking if people she said it was really good. I trusted her and ordered it. It arrived cold and very fatty. I sent it back and they cooked it a little bit more after cutting into the steak. I realized it was 90% fat. She said that that's how ribeyes are. This is a small restaurant in a strip mall like parking lot. The interior has nice ambient lighting and was clean. We got there just as it they turned the "open" sign on so the waitress looked kinda shocked when we walked in but we were greeted and the staff seemed friendly. We ordered the beef larb, lunch green chicken curry and the lunch Chinese broccoli with crispy pork. The food was excellent & very authentic. The spice level here is no joke so if you can't handle spicy, stick with spice level 1-3. My husband's green curry was a spice level 4 and he said it had a very nice kick but he can handle spicy. We ordered online and selected "mild" for both the coconut curry and pad see ew. The dishes had no spice at all, literally zero heat. We have eaten there four to five times previously, and when ordering mild in the past, the spice level was always noticeable and appropriate. We called immediately after tasting the food to ask if we could pick up replacements with mild spice. During the call, we reiterated our confusion and specifically asked whether that meant the menu has two spice options that both result in zero heat. She confirmed that this was correct and said that this is how the owner wants it, which we found very surprising given our prior experiences ordering mild at this restaurant. She did not offer to remake the meals or provide any resolution. We even offered to bring the food back so they could see that it had not been eaten, only tasted, but this was declined. We really like this restaurant, but unfortunately our recent pickup orders have had a few issues, and this experience was disappointing given our history as repeat customers. My favorite drink is their Thai tea and my favorite dishes are the glass noodles, the Pad Thai noodles, and the mango sticky rice. The ambiance is relaxed and the decor is bright, modern, and trendy. My friend and I were talking about doing an Asian food themed Thanksgiving and she brought up Khao soi which I had never tried before. I did what any food lover would and looked up the nearest Thai place and landed here. Walking in it's a very calm ambiance and the service was quick. The food came out and it was presented very well. I liked that the dish came with sliced breast and a chicken leg for some dark meat. I got mine pretty spicy and was content. It's a nice warm and rich meal. The fried noodles for crunch are great on the dish as well. I did get a side of rice to help fill me up. To-go khoa Soi Curry Chicken Noodles before crispy topping. Oh man, I had no idea curry could ever get better than it already was. I will admit I was a bit disappointed in the to-go portion size and do wonder if it would have been a larger portion if I dined in. I will definitely get this again, only if I do, I'd be likely to add vegetables. It was delicious as it was, Thai basil, delicious pieces of chicken and red onion, noodles, crispy noodles. For me, I will also likely opt out for the drumstick. Not because it isn't fall off the bone delicious, but because I personally felt the pieces throughout were about as much chicken as I'm willing to consume in a week/month/whatever. The sauce, I put the left over sauce in the fridge because there was no way I was going to let that go to waste! As I said, I feel there could have been more noodles, but I'm a little piggy when I'm hungry. I'm saving this review because I can't review every time I'm in. Next, I think I may try the Thai fried rice. I am in the process of eating my Thai fried rice with veggies in place of protein, medium spice level. Mmmm. Medium IS my spice level. It is the perfect amount of heat where my lips wonder whether they're burning or not and they're not, they're just warm. Cabbage, baby corn, snap peas, mushrooms, peas, carrots, broccoli prettied up with a couple of slices of cucumber and cherry tomatoes. I truly felt the love upon opening the box and seeing the presentation. Definitely did not go unnoticed. The smell is reminiscent of a comfort I rarely ever received in life. The portion size is PERFECT and larger than the noodle dish I last ordered. I'm going to have to post this now. I've tried all of their curry dishes and have discovered my favorite, though I'd devour any that were offered (previously reviewed). I've tried some of the other items and it's true, I love it. I'm a fan, photos only from here on out because it would be pointless to keep mmmmming through every visit on here. read more

The food was amazing, me personally I just got the pumpkin custard. Not sure if it's a seasonal addition or a permanent item but it was delicious! My family got the cashew cashew stir fry, the chili green beans, and coconut rice. And it really satisfied our appetite. The service was also amazing. The servers were very attentive to us despite having a packed house. The ambiance of the place was quite cozy and calming as well. Chada Thai AZ is located in Scottsdale. For many years they were located around ten minutes away in Scottsdale as Cha Da Thai. They are a very above average Thai Restaurant. They offer dishes that you don't come across. at other Thai restaurants like boat noodle soups and miang kham (leaf wrapped salad bites) Thai food doesn't always The food but can run spicy. You order the dishes as - no heat, medium heat, hot, and Thai Hot. Some of the hot dishes are pretty darn close to Thai Hot. If you accidentally order your food too hot they don't take back so order carefully. I think everyone should order the Miang Kham because it's FANTABULOUS! It's leaves that are stuffed with coconut, peanuts, lime cubes, ginger, onions and oranges. Today it came with a spicy tamarind sauce. It's really REALLY delicious! I had one of the boat noodle soups. It was very good and I had my choice of noodles. The pad kra prow gai was among the better ones that we've tried. Service was amazing and couldn't be any better. Just happen to find this spot when browsing through my Apple Maps. A smaller shop but it was super busy when I went to pick up my take out order. I got some orange chicken and Thai tea.
