The staff was friendly and very attentive. The wings and drinks themselves were super flavorful and I thought I would have more time to enjoy and come back to visit while in town. My partner also tried their burger and fries and decided to stop by the restaurant only to find out they closed a couple of months ago. It was worth the visit when we went there back in December.z The place was cute and it felt comfy.

There were less than 10 patrons when I arrived. You order via QR code here. I ordered a Guinness and nachos. I received the nachos, but still hadn't received the beer after 45 minutes. At that point, I noticed a White patron that came in after me received a Guinness. My Black friend went and asked the server (who was a White woman) if she forgot mine. 10 minutes later, the server set down a beer that was 70% foam without a look or a word. Meanwhile, I watched this server seemingly ignore Black patrons while approaching other patrons and asking if they needed anything, including my Cuban friend. My Cuban friend got so irritated, she went and told the woman that it seemed like people of a certain skin complexion were getting better service. The server denied it. The server still did not care. She then took 10 minutes to bring my Black friend water and never made eye contact nor spoke to my Black friend or me. Later, another patron approached me to comment on my funny shirt. I asked her how her experience with the customer service was, and she said the waitress acted strangely towards her (Black) friend until she said something to her about it. As a queer woman, I would love to support a queer-woman-owned sports bar, but apparently I'm not too welcome there. Nachos were good. The main TV setup is four separated screens, so the middle of the game is kind of invisible.

Why such a long hiatus? The tap list over the last months just hasn't had anything I've wanted to drink. It's been a lot of repeats of things I've had over and over or beers that just aren't appealing -- or, in many cases, both. The Glendale Tap used to have a fairly good turnover of new brews, but lately, it seems to be in a rut. Imports are pretty much never to be seen -- like everywhere else, sadly. Even out-of-state beers are rare. And on my most recent visit, at least half of the tap list was tapped out. IPAs and sours take up so much of the list -- stouts in the cooler months -- while styles like bitters, milds, (non-India) pale ales, brown ales, bocks, amber lagers, smoked beers, etc., get little to no space on the tap list. I still love the atmosphere of the Glendale Tap, and the bartenders there are the best. Prices are fair, and there's always something at least decent to drink. But I miss those fulsome tap lists with a variety of beer styles from far and wide. More and more, the Glendale Tap is becoming too much like every other beer bar. I know L.A. beer drinkers are extremely parochial with very limited tastes (basically IPA, IPA, IPA, and IPA, with some super sours thrown in), but I would hope the Glendale Tap could return to just a smidgen of its former excellence. Until then, I probably will be visiting biannually instead of bimonthly.

So,... great place for a date (even if you don't want to go on a 2nd with them) you might want to come back with or without them. Parking can be a challenge. Street parking or you can park in the lots close by of Walgreens or Ralph's and walk over. There are signs stating towing but I don't think it would likely happen.

I love this spot. The sausage and beer formula has been done before, but Link N Hops does it very well too and is a welcome addition to the East Side. Pro's: -Wide selection of tasty sausages... as good as anything served at Wurstkuche or other sausage spots. -Vegan / Vegetarian menu: exceptional selection of healthy non meat alternatives. The italian vegan is as tasty and filling as anything made of beef or pork. -Superb handcut fries... could be my favorite in LA. Crispy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. -Awesome beer tap list. -Curry Ketchup... all their dipping sauces are good, but their curry ketchup is addicting, even more so than other restaurants' curry ketchups. -Good location, I love that this is on the East Side. Plenty of street parking on Glendale Blvd and in the adjoining neighborhood streets around the corner. -Friendly staff - from Andy the owner to Erik the bartender, these guys are easy going, know their food and beer, and have good taste in music, which they play in the restaurant. -No hassle: thankfully they're not a victim of their own popularity yet. No long lines, no wait, no hassle. Always a fun care free time there. -ESPN - I like how they have two TV's showing sports with the sound off but the captions turned on. It's great to be able to quickly check on scores and updates, but not have these channels' sound dominate the ambiance of the restaurant. There's a familiar vibe in here, but atleast it's built on a successful model. Links N Hops offers exotic meats for the risky, or yummy sausages for the plain janes. As the name of this spot implies, it's all about Sausages and BEER. -Vibe: It's a bit more open and bright than its cross town cousin. Furniture choice is certainly similar in that there are smaller tables at the sides and a big benched table in the middle. I also like the simple outdoor patio set up and Link N Hops isolates them well even though the adjacent "too-close" parking lot seems to add the smell of gas in the air, if one chooses to idle too long. -Parking: is atrocious. A small lot is shared with 4 other thriving businesses, one of which is Starbucks. There is metered public parking, but who likes dealing with those really. I took my motorcycle here, but there wasn't even a nook or cranny to stuff it in. -Food: The majority of the offerings here are hot dogs and french fries. The bread was soft at least and the Duck Sausage had a good spice to it and was tasty going down. I'd call it half-exotic, since it's no rattlesnake or rabbit meat. The fries were a disappointment though. I ordered a large size to share, but it looked like it was barely enough to feed myself. If this is a large size, I really wonder what a small size would be. A large size did come with 2 dipping sauces and the two that I picked were aioli's. I wasn't wow'd by the habanero or cilantro aioli, but I probably just made some bad choices. read more

I was going to this place all the time with a neighbor friend George. But just tonight I decided that this is my last time I will ever go into this establishment. And I love their food, their beers are great, but strangely enough two guys standing on either side of me as they watched the UFC fight started preaching about number 45 (That means Your president Trump, NOT MINE) and how great he's doing and then they started preaching about how it's ok to murder and shoot people with their AR15 assault weapons and other guns they love. If this is what 'Link n Hops' and the establishment is turned into and allowing. Goodbye AND Enjoy. Please know this, Los Angeles, and a high percentage of California DOES NOT AGREE WITH RACISM, BIGOTRY, SEXISM, OR VIOLENCE. This is California. If people want to behave as these types of human beings, I would definitely suggest taking that negative, hateful energy out of this city. This is a city of LOVE. NOT A CITY OF HATE AND RACISM. PLEASE I'M ASKING THE OWNER OF LINK N HOPS TO TAKE NOTICE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS. Like I said earlier in this message, I love the food and love the beer at Link n Hops, but I give this place a 1 star because their customers are allowed to destroys someone's evening with their inhuman, racist, bigoted, sexist behavior. I do agree with some and strongly disagree with many!! I've been to this place many times and never bee disappointed, management will go out of their way to make sure you're happy and staff always been super friendly and helpful. It annoys me to see so many negative feedbacks. Sausage is super juicy and tasty, fries are amazing. Being a huge fan of beer, I was NOT disappointed by the selection, choose light, medium or dark beers, and ask for a sample if you're not sure about a certain beer. Rotating taps = awesome to try new beers!! "I'm not huge fan of sausages or beer, that's why I gave it 3 stars" really?? It's in the name, LINKS and HOPS...that's like me going to a KFC and get mad that they don't have burgers. "Order took too long" hey, This is not a McDonalds, did you know that by health department laws, they have to make sure the meat reaches a certain temperature before its served to make sure YOU don't get sick?? You're welcome!!! "Toppings were on top" ummm, helloooo, they're calling TOPPINGS!!! Bottom line, if you're not a fan of sausages or beer, this is not the place for you. I recently visited the Link and Hops Sausage and Beer pub in Atwater Village, and I was really pleasantly impressed by what I found! It was the perfect spot to spend the afternoon, with a great selection of beers on offer, and tasty hot dogs to take my mind off the increasingly intense LA sun. I decided to sample 8 of their beers to get a complete picture of their selection, and each one was more delicious than the last. I'm no beer connoisseur, but the hints of malt and pine from the ales and the crispness of the lagers really had me well over the legal limit by 3pm. To soak up the booze, I decided to grab one of the spicy hot dogs that are famous in this part of town. And, by god, were these hot dogs spicy! The juicy, greasy sustenance was just what I needed to make it through the afternoon. Atwater Village can often be overlooked in favor of its more well-known counterpart, Glendale, but let me tell you, it has a night and charm all of its own. Fedoras aside, it's a great place to spend a night out, and Link and Hops is the ideal spot to do just that. read more

OK, so I was never a Yelper till I came to this place, I wanted to tell those of you driving and trying to find a good spot to go to (that is how I found out about it). What is Link N Hops? it is a new gastropub in Atwater Village dishing up gourmet sausages and 24 international craft beers on tap. Exotic grinds include crocodile andouille, smoked ostrich with pistachio, duck and bacon, lamb merguez, wild boar and rabbit. Vegan sausages are also available. I went in and had Smoked Chicken & Mango w/ Jalapeno and it was mmmmmmmmm delicious, and to drink I had Belgo -Belgian IPA, vary good but strong (not recommended if you are ridding a bike). Service was like if you are at your best friend's house for a drink (vary friendly) and the decor has an amazing positive energy. I discovered this place 100% because of my girlfriend and she will forever hold it over my head. While I'm a man who loves brats and all other meats, shes a vegan! Certainly makes it hard 4 us to go out and both agree on restaurants. I was in the mood for a brat and some beer one night but figured that was impossible since she woudl be with me. We came here last week, Friday evening together with my workmates for just a simple dinner. As we arrived in this place, we were greeted warmly with the staff. One of the staff accommodates us with our needs and he immediately gives the list of the menus. We ordered Chicken Habanero, Smoked Pork w/Cheese & a Triple Dripped Belgian Fries - served hot & fresh. YUM! - Mouthwatering. It is perfectly cooked. Among the earliest devote the well-known Setting sun Strip. Hyperlink N Hops has many songs background right behind it. In case you are an individual who values traditional rock and roll you are going to enjoy this location. They may have exceptional meals. In case you are just arriving for any consume or supper you are going to take pleasure in the meals. Everything from excellent soups to outstanding noodles meals. This location does obtaining hectic regardless of what time during the day you decide to go. I strongly recommend the meatball sandwich. Links and Hops is such a fun spot! Came on a Wednesday for trivia--quiet at 6 but packed by 8. Parking's limited, so street parking is usually easier (free after 8). Tried the Hibiscus Apple Cider (light and fizzy), the Atwater Knackwurst with onions and peppers, fries, and Coxinhas. Sausage was solid, fries were filling, and the Coxinhas were crispy and delicious. Best part? The staff--Zel and Ricardo make the place feel welcoming and upbeat. Three stars for vegan options and large selection of beer. However, it's still a little pricey, and the food just doesn't cut it (only tried vegan sausages). The burger looked like a joke: a bland patty cut in half, stuck into a sausage bun, and worth $9.... I mean come on! And they could really use at least one more type of bread. Yes, I enjoyed my eating experience and all the dishes that I tried here was really good, but unfortunately I'm very disappointed with the service, they treated me poorly. Great spot to catch a Dodgers game! The atmosphere is super friendly and relaxed -- plenty of TVs, so no bad seat in the house. Tried Links N hop for the first time tonight and I have to say the atmosphere is fun, the bartender is uplifting, informative and a great host. I had the Debreziner link with sauerkraut and spice pickles , and it was awesome. Best link I've ever had. My boyfriend had the buffalo wings and said they were spicy and cooked perfectly. Definitely worth stopping in. Fries are off the chart, flavorful, large portions. read more

This place is fantastic. I had the spicy vegan sausage because I'm a weirdo. It was the best vegan sausage I've ever had. And the Spicy Hawaiian Plum BBQ sauce was the best dipping sauce I've ever had for fries. Bold, I know, but true. And they have a bunch of beers too. read more

It's a brilliant indoor-outdoor craft beer/wine store and sports bar. I love coming here to work in the afternoon because it's super quiet, then stay for an excellent craft beer and burger. (Kind dogs welcome and encouraged.) The owner Tom is a diehard Dodgers fan who makes the best smash cheeseburgers for miles. (Literally. My husband has tried them all.) Be sure to call ahead to see if they're firing up the grill. This week was Thursday + Saturday. They've started doing oysters other nights. Chips are included. Price can't be beat. The whole team here is amazing--Tom's incredible wife, bartender Ben and all the other bar "magicians." They have an incredible selection of craft beer and wine to take away, too. We had the good fortune of watching the Dodgers win the final game of the 2025 World Series here--and they passed out confetti canons and champagne in celebration. It was a magical night! I asked the woman tending bar for a menu and got a breakfast menu. Then I saw people eating burgers, asked for the burger menu, and somehow got handed the breakfast menu again. Eventually we figured it out by asking another bartender. The burger was actually really good, and the tots were nice and crispy. No complaints about the food. What annoyed me a little was finding out afterward on Yelp that they apparently have $5 game-day draft specials. That would've been useful information before I ordered beers for around $9 each. Overall, good food and a cool spot, but the service could be a little more attentive.
