Fried chicken sandwich with olallieberry slaw
    Sam J.

I can't go to Cambria without obsessing over olallieberry everything. I don't know if there is any better place to get your fix than Linn's Restaurant. I was last here 15 years ago and I cannot wait 15 more. I'm going to start with the dessert. I was choosing between the white cake with buttercream frosting filled with olallieberry jam and the cheesecake with olallieberry sauce. It was recommended by the server to get the cheesecake. He was 100% right. The cheesecake was great and the sauce was even better. As an added bonus he gave me a small sliver of the cake to taste and that's how I know it was the right decision to get the cheesecake. Usually I'd get an olallieberry shake but the timing didn't work out right. I had the fried chicken sandwich with slaw on it and a side of the olallieberry slaw. I loved the slaw. I like the sandwich. The rest of our party ordered ribs and felt it was nothing to write home about. The Asian salad was well received. The meat loaf and vegetables looked really good. Linns is a cool spot and open later than most things which is super helpful if you're in the area.

Stopped here for some cake slices for my boyfriends birthday. I didnt read too much into the reviews and really stopped by here because cake options nearby was limited. HOWEVER, LOOK NO FURTHER if youre in need of some desserts because oh, boy. Cake is absolutely delicious here. Got takeout but the restaurant was lovely. It has a homey charm to it which we loved. The cake reflects the homey charm, its pretty but not fancy. We absolutely loved the cafe mocha tiramisu as well as the chocolate raspberry and their berry one! Pie was ok. I found the crust to be tad bit dry but finished it nonetheless! Each piece was around $12 so definitely a premium slice. Service was amazing even for togo. Parking was easy with their small lot but street parking was also plentiful. Will definitely visit again.

Service: Employees were kind, thoughtful, and attentive. Restaurant: Clean, uniquely decorated (with vintage bikes) and has small little store in the front for jellies, treats and Knick knacks. Food: Portion sizes are more than filling. I ordered a cup of the Tomato Basil Soup which was delivered nice and hot with fresh basil on top. I also ordered the starte Mac and Cheese because I saw the entree portions and wasn't that hungry-but even the starter was a large portion-and was yummy. It does come with red peppers (as noted on the menu) so it isn't a kids Mac and cheese. Some bread comes to the table with butter and a jam they are known for olallieberry jam-very delicious. Dessert: got a Olallieberry cream puff to go-I was grateful to find napkins and two forks in the bag. I did not tell my server I was traveling so I was very grateful for the forks without remembering to ask! The cream puff was also very large and shareable.

I came in around 9:25 AM on a Monday, and the food was delicious, and the scenery was beautiful. This place should have easily been a 5-star restaurant. Unfortunately, the service was absolutely terrible and completely ruined the experience. Our server, an older bald man wearing a hat with no tattoos, was one of the worst servers I've ever encountered. I ordered a matcha latte and was served a hot mocha instead. That's a basic mistake. When we asked if they had seafood pasta, he just stared at us with a blank expression for about five seconds before asking, "Where did you read that? On the menu?" We were obviously looking at the dinner menu. If it's not available, simply say so. Instead, the interaction was awkward and unprofessional. Another server, a tall, skinny younger guy, dropped a fork on my leg while clearing the table. I picked it up for him, and he didn't even say "thank you" or apologize. Someone should teach him basic manners. The food and the view deserve praise, but the service was absolutely terrible--honestly among the worst service I've ever received at any restaurant. Because of the service alone, I will never come back.

Came by here the other day while in the area and grabbed a cinnamon roll with Pecans and an Olallieberry cream muffin! I remember when their muffins were huge back in the day...service was great!

I had high hopes since I had heard so much about Linn's. But was rather disappointed. Their menu has all sorts of weird fancy foods. I ended up with some sort of chicken sandwich but it had weird relish on it. The fries weren't very good and had a bunch of mustard seeds on them. Service was very slow to refill my bottomless soda. The only redeeming piece of the meal was the delicious dessert!! Oh, and they have a fun little shop attached where I spent way too much money!!

Beautiful building.... Does not fit the rest of the towns motif and it kind of stands out, however still has the old town charm. The inside felt really crammed... the second we walked in we were overloaded with merchandise! It was overwhelming.... Store front , bakery .....restaurant....tremendous amount of bicycles all over ..... too much over stimulation.....after we ate and were about to leave the entrance was overcrowded and blocked off so we had to maneuver through the merchandise packed area to go out the back and walk back to the front of the building. We had a disabled person with us and that was very awkward! The servers were friendly ... however it seemed that the substitute had an up charge as we were told when we ordered our food. The food was alright .... I heard a lot of "oh it's so good .... It's amazing " but it left little to minimum taste excitement for me. The Eggs Benedict was running for some on our table and overcooked for others .... The sauce seemed too coagulated . The flies.... More shooing flies than eating! Can't say it was "oh so good " for me , but I'm sure it's a hit with the locals .

Linn's is a highly rated and recommended restaurant so we stopped by to check it out while visiting Cambria. Located in east village and on Main Street, it's on the corner and can't be missed. Very happy we came here for lunch because we had a great experience! I had the chicken pot pie and finished every bite. The chicken filling and gravy was tasty and the pie crust was perfect. We also had the turkey sandwich with salad which I would recommend if you're looking for a light lunch. The ollalieberry dressing on our salad was a great choice; the berry isn't as tangy as blueberry but tastes like a cross between that and a strawberry. They also have a to go service option on the side. We stopped there to grab a slice of the ollalieberry pie : highly recommended! Great service and food.

Three of us stopped here for dessert on March 8th, 2026, our way up the coast...fantastic! If we hadn't had big food planned up north, we would've eaten lunch there!

This is my favorite place to eat in Cambria! Food is always amazing and the staff is always so friendly and attentive. Overall super cute, a gift shop, and known for their OLLIBERRY pie! Must try

    - Server cramped our company of three into the smallest table (larger two-person tables were available) - Coffee was lukewarm - Hash browns were burnt - Overpriced

Went into cambria for lunch which is a nice small beach town in the central coast. This restaurants exterior is gorgeous. Such a beautiful building. Inside, there is a small store where you can buy books, crafts, wine, and pies. The pies here are amazing by the way. Even better? The lobster sandwich that I ate for lunch. I didn't have much expectations for lunch. Usually when I'm in the central coast, it's a constant dose of tri tip. This sandwich was an instant surprise. Perfect amount of lobster. Comparable to getting a good lobster sandwich in Boston or Maine. Service here was top notch too.

    Do they serve barbecue ribs?

Did not see any BBQ ribs when I was there in September. They do have a rack of lamb though.

    Do they take reservations?

    No they don't

What side dish would you recommend?

The side of vegetables and the mashed potatoes that came with the chicken pot pie were so good, they stole the show from the entree!

Do yhey have a full bar?

    no, "full Bar"

Does Linn's take reservations? Edited to add: I called Linn's to make reservations for our party of 4 and was told they only take reservations for partys of 5 or more but they would see what they could do. We were given a reservation. Worth a call.

    Yes

    How late is breakfast served?

    12:00 PM

Is it a dog friendly restaurant? Is dog allow for outdoor dining?

Service dog friendly..I do believe the cafe to the rear of the property is dog friendly with outdoor tables (still part of Linns)

Will you be open on Thanksgiving? If so, hours and same menu & service as always?

And the onion rings were pretty boring. I don't think they make them there, I am not sure about that, though. But they had kind of a generic look and feel to them, but the problem was they had zero flavor. Like nobody put salt on them when they took them out of the fryer. That's the first thing you do when you pull something out of a fryer, you season it. The server was nice enough, but they have a thing now where if you ask for water, they want to sell you a bottle of water. I get that things are tough for restaurants, but I almost rather pay a little more for the sandwich and get water, if you know what I mean. I'm no food expert, or running a restaurant expert, these are just my reactions as a local who stops in here fairly regularly. I think if the folks who run this place feel like there's any value to my little thoughts, they would be easy to fix and wouldn't cost anything at all really. I've been coming here for years, and I want these folks to do well.

I have frequented both the Cambria and Fresno locations, partially due to the consistently decent service and mostly due to the quality and quick food. It doesn't matter if you show up right when they open, or if you arrive when there's a line out the door waiting to place orders, service is always much quicker than you'd expect. Food is decent--whether you get a salad (note-the side or small salad is huge--it fills a full to-go container), fish and chips, a sandwich or burger. Substitutions are usually not an issue, and ranch/bbq sauces are available at no extra charge. I'm generally impressed with how absolutely fresh the lettuce and veggies are for the salads. I really have grown used to spending $10 or more for a much smaller salad at other locations and have grown accustomed to picking out wilted/rotted veggies and lettuce. Not here-everything is cold, crisp and fresh. Meat is seasoned well-- and the fries are plentiful. There is usually plenty of seating, whether inside or on the patio. Parking can be rough along Main Street, but if you're patient, you can usually find something fairly close. It does help that the grill is towards the end of the street. Rest rooms are limited and often running low on supplies. It can be quite a wait during busy times. In all, this is a great place for quick and decent food. It is consistently enjoyable for the whole family. We'll definitely be back whenever we visit.

Plus the cafe menu includes sandwiches, wraps, panini's, salads, soup, stews, comfort food entrees, and hot dogs. The young man working the counter was fantastic. Sincerely friendly.welcoming, extremely helpful, and knowledgeable about the menu. Provided great recommendations. We ordered a hot dog $10. All beef. Perfect thickness of crust; it was dense, flaky and tender all around yummy. My tastebuds were doing a happy dance! The cafe has a charming farmhouse interior. The cafe interior tables were fitted with plastic table cloths. Not a fan of those. The back patio was super cute. The area is compact. Gorgeous flowers and plants all lushly thriving and blooming. Whimsical metal sculpture art . Water fountains that gave off a calming trickling water sound. The windmill structure was pretty cool. Dual purpose of up cycle art and patio cover. Almost every table had a huge umbrella providing shade. Next to the back patio are the restrooms housed in its own stand alone building. Could use a refresh. A quick online search will tell you that an olallieberry is a cross between a blackberry and a raspberry and it's all delicious . I had a slice of pie a la mode. My daughter had an olallieberry cream puff and my partner had a slice of cherry pie. All were so good, especially with a nice cup of coffee. We sat in the outside garden patio area on a lovely late spring day. It was perfect. The service was friendly and yes it can take a little long, but it's a small shop with one guy doling out the pies, so be patient , it's worth it.
