So sorry to have to write a review like this. But I feel that with the money I spent, I need to prepare others. To me Fried Rice is fried rice no matter where you go. However, this is not the case with Lin's. I ordered the Chicken Fried Rice and my fiance' ordered another chicken dish on last Thursday. We were both disappointed. The "fried rice" was not like ANY fried rice I have ever had. It seemed like Uncle Ben's rice except it was yellow. There was no flavor and definitely it was not fried. The chicken tasted like what you would think broiled chicken would taste like. I even asked for "additional" vegetables which involved a surcharge. It seemed that maybe I received some extra broccoli. However, the other veggies were few. There was only a couple peas and a few carrots and mushrooms. I can pass on a compliment for the broccoli, as it was good. Spring rolls are small and cost more than they should. We do not recommend this restaurant. We may give it some time for improvement and try again at a later date but will not be returning any time soon, read more

Looked at the pics and I was hype because it looks like the typical American Chinese--but sadly I was mistaken. The rice was bright yellow and not the darker rice online. The general chicken was dry and looked nothing like the maroon looking chicken found online and also the rice lacked any type of flavor. You don't get free egg rolls with your order and the sweet and sour sauce for my chicken had so much sugar in it, it almost tasted like kool aid. My new place. Yes it is a hour drive and completely worth it. I was disappointed in the boneless ribs, they were cold and tuff to chew. More like jerky. Plain rice is also a no go. The egg rolls are really good, better then the spring rolls. I really liked the crab ragoon but my wife thought it was sweet. You get a lot if filling and they came nice and hot. The rest of the food was hot and delicious. We love the garlic sauce, nice and spicy. The orange and general tso actually have pieces of chicken rather then just breading. The shrimp in the lo mein were tender and perfectly cooked. It is easy making the 1 hour drive for this quality of food. If you like greasy, flavorful and hot Chinese food this should be your new spot. read more

I have ordered from this location many times and my food was always very good. However, tonight the food was the worse Chinese food I have ever eaten. The Crab Rangoon was chewy and tough which tells me it was microwaved. The spring roll filling was mushy and tasteless. The Lo Mein was dry, dry, dry and tasteless. I have never had dry lo mein before. The whole dinner was awful. The delivery man was great! But I won't be ordering from here again. read more

I ordered takeout from here and was very happy with it, and I tend to be really picky when it comes to Chinese food. The crab rangoons light and delicious, not heavily fried like some places. You also get like 10 in an order which is awesome. I asked them to make the broccoli chicken extra spicy and unlike most places, they actually did. All the veggies seemed really fresh and the dish was flavorful. They do deliver, but not to Suffolk so make note that even though they are close by they don't deliver out that way. read more

Having ordered takeout lunch and dinner several times a month we have grown used to decent Asian food from here but tonight was a disappointment. We ordered fried rice and egg rolls which for us makes a nice late evening meal. Tonight the fried rice was ok but the egg rolls tasted stale and almost uneatable. In fact my wife took one bite and tossed what was left on my plate. I am a bit less discerning so I finished mine and my wife's plus had a quick prayer that I would not have to pay later tonight. This small Chinese restaurant is in the Churchland shopping center and the food is made fresh and fast. I've been here a few times in the past few months and I tend to get the same thing, shrimp and broccoli or chicken and broccoli. What I like most about this place is that the children of the people who work here are always there doing homework or helping out at the register. It's this one young girl who is extremely pleasant and greets me every time I come in and she takes the order and hands me my food when it's done. I look forward to seeing her in there because she is so nice. The food is always good. They have the option of ordering your food online, I haven't done that yet but one day I will give it a try. Very polite staff and the girl who answers the phone speaks English very well; which is not always the case and can be quite frustrating. Soy sauce, duck sauce, and utensils were provided without having to specifically request them. My friend noted that the food was "much hotter than Chinese food normally is temperature wise", I assume this has to do with them cooking everything fresh when it is ordered which was surprising as it was ready less than ten minutes after I placed the order. Excellent General Tso's chicken, best I've had in years. The sauce is the more red than the dark sauce than you find at most places, more similar to sweet and sour than sesame, which is by far my favorite way General Tso's chicken is prepared. Portions in the combination dinners are generous and the pork fried rice is very tasty. Definitely found my new favorite Chinese place. read more

We wanted to try another delivery CHINESE place and I was wrong for doing that. First, when I called the call taker, before I could give my order, she told me she was going to have to call me back. I waited 10min and as I was looking for another one, she called(I wish I wouldn't have answered the phone). So I placed my order of two apps, two soups, and one combo. She said told me three different prices and finally came up with a total and said it would be 30min. Well, 53 min later the door rang and I met the delivery driver who smelled like he hadn't taken a bath in a month and had a cigarette hanging from him mouth. Now the food, the soup had zero flavor with a hint of not good so I threw that away, everything else was very cold and just nasty, plus what I really wanted was an egg roll (that came with the combo) and oh, guess what, not there. This was my first time eating from here. The lady on the phone was super nice. I was told my food would arrive in 45 minutes. They were like 8 minutes shy of that, no big deal. I ordered general tso shrimp. The shrimp was tasty, deveined, the sauce was the perfect consistency & they didn't skimp on the rice. Update: I've eaten here two more times. I ordered honey walnut shrimp & it was fried shrimp with a mayo sauce drizzled on top. The shrimp is too dry for a drizzle of sauce but the sauce is too rich for anymore. There aren't any walnuts either. It wasn't good. The driver came 20 minutes after the 45 min. time frame & he smells like cigarettes often. Lastly, I ordered general tso chicken & it was almost flavorless which was weird & I literally had 1 piece of broccoli. The driver again smelled but was early this time. Also, there was more breading than chicken. Shrimp is more pricey but that general tso was far superior. Over all they have consistency issues. read more

This isn't a "five star" restaurant per se, but it's as good as Chinese takeout gets. Portions are good, and the food is fresh and prepared quickly. I usually get the General Tso's combo, and I like my food spicy. They're reasonably accommodating since I've insisted that I want it very very spicy. Other places in town seem to have either a language barrier or a lack of chili pepper in the restaurant because my requests for spicy food go unfulfilled.
