The Brussel sprouts still were a bit crunchy and were a bit oily but had nice lightly sweet garlicky flaves. Came with a thick creamy Greek yogurt ranch too. The chicken and churros came with 3 thin crisp sugar coated churros--would be nice if they added some cinnamon to it too tho and 2 meaty juicy savory crispity crunchity chicken tenders which paired well with their house sauce which was like Chick-fil-A sauce and blazin ranch which was tangy and had a bit of a kick. The buffalo style sauce wasn't for me tho. This spot just started doing wraps so of course I got their chicken Caesar and Cobb ones to try. They all had chewy, sturdy tortillas with two of their big yummy chicken tenders inside that surprisingly didn't get too soggy. The chicken Caesar wrap was simple and had fresh crunchy lettuce, cucumbers, watermelon radish, some savory Parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing. I ordered the grilled chicken in my Cobb wrap but they accidentally gave me a fried and grilled one. The chicken is breaded and they seem to always cook it just right. And they used good chicken pieces. I will never get a chix sandwhich or nuggets for fast food places, I'll leave nameless here, but you can tell the quality of the chicken. The salads always look fresh and the fountain drinks are flavorful. Most employee are super friends but not outgoing since they're busy working. Food for order is pretty fast. I'm surprised it's not much busier when I go. The seating areas always look nice and clean and parking isn't an issue. Althought sometimes you do have to park in the street. You really don't get much interaction outside from picking up your food when they are done. The staff seemed cool and they were locked in on making the orders. There are plenty of places to sit, both indoor and outdoor. At your table, there is a QRC code to where you can take a picture of your food and Starbird Chicken will match that and donate it to an organization to fight hunger. Now for the food: I order half and half: half lemon pepper bone-in wings and garlic parmesan boneless bites. Both were really good. They are not saucy but more leaning towards dry rub. The lemon pepper wings got that perfect tangy sour taste and you better like the taste of garlic and parmesan because it is pungent! The bites are a bit drier for my taste so for sure I will be ordering bone-in wings. Fries are perfectly crispy and seasoned. Wow. Expectation exceeded. Customer service is top notch here. Even though there are kiosks to order from, the staff consistently checked in to see if I needed help or had questions. This was my first time here, and I had a great experience. I met my wife here for lunch during her lunch break. I brought our kiddos with me; the place had food for the kiddos as well. My kids ate chicken nuggets, which is actually a decent portion for a kids' meal; we had leftovers from the kids' meal alone. Then I got wings, and my wife got a sandwich. The wings were delicious. I don't even know what flavors I got because I picked unique ones I had never tried before, and they were some of the best-tasting wings I ever had. The wings were juicy and crispy while the sauce was on point. My favorite item was actually their mango juice; it was so good, especially in this early summer heat. Damn, what a meal! After reading so many glowing reviews, Starbird was high on my list of chicken places to try. I tried four places in four days, and Starbird came in last. Not even close. I was disappointed. The sandwich was small...about the size of a McDonald's hamburger, and it all fit underneath the hand-sized bun. I had the Japanese BBQ Bird. It was an OK sandwich, but nothing special or memorable. No need to say more. For a side, I had the Crispy Thai Brussels Sprouts. No crispiness. They were drenched in something like a thick balsamic glaze. It was overpowering. I could only eat about four at a time and come back to them later. They came with Thai herb aioli. It didn't help. One and done for Starbird for me. All the best to you, though. The great thing about their chicken here is it is so packed full of flavor without the heaviness of other places. Originally from the Bay, they pride themselves on using gluten free flour, no antibiotics in the chicken, fresh veggies & sauces made daily. Every detail is printed on the ticket yet I'm always missing something whether it be a fry, making the chicken spicy, or a full on meal, mind you it's the add ons that cost extra that we are missing most of the time. Same Manager, same b.s. and I haven't been here in over 2 years. First Thai grilled chicken wrap was ice cold. Manager said the sauces made the chicken cold and there was no warm chicken whatsoever. Let's get down right to it. The food at this location is average. They don't follow online order instructions on takeout orders. They get a 3 because a 3 is average and this place hasn't made us sick. Twice I've requested chipotle lime dressing in my side salad and twice they provided green goddess. Yesteday, I paid for added chicken. This location charged me but failed to add it. We requested no cilantro in the chopped salad. They appeared to not only add it but they added extra. It was hard to eat the salad when one of the things we asked to omit was all up in there, figuratively laughing at us. The nuggets we received yesteday were small and oddly shaped. So much for consistency. The number we ordered usually is more than enough, not yesteday. Then lemon pepper wings are usually a good mix of plentiful wings and drumlettes. Not yesterday -- consistency be damned. This review might seem nit-picky but when you order food like this, it shouldn't be that hard to meet basic requests and expectations. I love coming to Starbird! The chicken is always fresh, hot, and you can't beat the prices. This location is kept very clean and you can either order at the counter or at machines in the front. They have chicken in just about every form (tenders, sandwiches, nuggets, wings, etc.). I recently tried the Chicken Parm Sandwich and it did not disappoint. Having marinara and pesto on it was a nice touch and I would definitely order again. It didn't have that same bite like before. Maybe they put a lot of sauce on to disguise it, I don't know but something feels like it's slightly changed here. Received a notification that our food was ready at 8:32 PM, went to the pickup station only to be ignored and not given my food or even a timeline on when it would be ready, and proceeded to remove the name for my order from the kiosk. They then proceeded to pile up on orders, seemingly standing around doing nothing, getting all the orders mixed up, and even treating customers with no modicum of respect. They were not understaffed or slammed with orders. Order was incorrect once finally called up, around 8:54. Bun on sandwich was burnt and the food that wasn't burnt was very mediocre.
