They came out and agreed it might be the toilet valve and flapper in both upstairs bathrooms, but also my tub needed to be recaulked. So they charged me $425 to replace both valves and "caulk my tub". This was the worst caulking job I have ever seen - I could have done a better job myself. They didn't even bother to remove the old caulk, they just recaulked over some of it and did a terrible job at that. See the attached photos. I asked for a receipt breaking down the labor and parts because that seemed incredibly high for what was done and they refused to provide one for over a week. They came out to "re-do" the caulking job and again did a terrible job. I was then told that they didn't really do caulking and that this was just a courtesy. Yet a courtesy that they charged me an arm and a leg for. Incredible. I again asked for a receipt and he said he would email me one and drive off. They also said my water pressure was probably just a city issue. I spoke to my immediate neighbors and their water pressure is fine. So it was clearly a plumbing issue. These guys are ridiculous. Did a terrible job and gouged me. [edit: STILL NO RECEIPT! $425 for two toilet valves and a terrible caulk job on part of my bathtub]

They installed a water heater to vent less than 7' above a walkway, due to choosing the wrong exhaust pipe size (3" vs 4" pipes). While this is against code, this is also a common sense issue, as no customer would want to smell gas as they enter and leave their building. I assume this was done to increase their profit instead of do the right thing for our install. When confronted and questioned about their work and choice to vent the gas-smelling air into the public walkway, the company was combative. I had to read the manual myself, and validate the code myself, because the company was insistent there was no issue. It made no sense, and in the end I was right. At the end of the day they wouldn't budge, even when confronted with the evidence from the manual. It wasn't worth it to engage small claims processes, and we hired another contractor to redo the work properly. tl;dr - Don't work with Spadaro!

Once it's in, I notice it has a push button water retainer, and you push the button again to release the water that did not sit well with me. The next day I called the office, I spoke with Shiloh I pleaded my case to her explaining how I was a loyal customer. I asked if they would please allow him to return and swap out my faucet, at not cost to me, explaining how I did not like that faucet . She had to confer with her manager after several hours. She called me back and she said yes, that they would be more than happy to allow him to come back out. She said she valued me as a customer and appreciated my business. I was so relieved!
