A really convenient service!! The drivers are always very sweet and helpful and the customer service is on it -- shout out Sherry for helping me reschedule! Also shout out Almay for being the kindest driver ever :) In regards to the quality of washing, I have no qualms. They do their best to be transparent about what they have the ability to do -- like if you have a 5 year old stain, like let's be real, 1 wash isn't gonna get it out. But they try their best -- if they can't get the stain out after cycle, they take a picture and let you know, which i appreciate. They also bag and save things that you forget in your pockets, so they'll always be returned in case you forget to empty them. read more

I have never written a negative review, partly because I wouldn't want to affect someone's business and partly because I've never received a service I felt warranted it. The reason I'm writing this one for Liox is because my bill for a single bag of laundry was $71 WITH the $10 dollar new customer discount. I clicked no additional options before checking out using the app, but when the bill arrived midday (they wait to weigh your clothing before billing) I discovered they had tacked on +3 dollars for bleach, +6 for an additional bag (I provided one already), and +8 dollars for a same day fee (this was not something the app is up front about). I called as soon as I saw what had happened, but when nobody picked up I sent an email. Attached is the reply and bill (minus the tip I gave!). I called the place to state my case verbally but was met with the same response. If you're going to go with Liox, DON'T use the app to order. Also, $2.39/lb is a lot of money to begin with...so there's that too. *EDIT* just got my clothing back and weighed it. They added almost 4lbs. read more

First time ever been to this place was 6 years ago, the service was really good and it was super fast, convenience. You could just simply dropped off and they will shot your message when it's ready. But I've had two bad experiences, one was from last year, I brought over one of my button down shirt from Prada, because I trusted Liox Cleaners. But when I got my shirt, one of the button was damaged, it was a $1200 plus shirt, as I stated I trust this place so I thought they could taken care of it. I didn't question or say anything instead I went back to Prada and they were able to place a new button for me. So this year, I brought a goose down jacket, it was a bit pricey, but I trusted this place and I believe they will taking care of my jacket. Otherwise I would've stopped coming here! Same thing had happened, The button is damaged! What happened to the good quality of this place ? I went back, the girl who works there didn't even apologize, said she would contact the dry clean manager and get back to me! LIOX is good in that it is a pick up and drop off laundry service. Otherwise, I would not highly recommend their services. I feel like their pricing breakdowns change with each laundry order. I also think at times that they do not even use detergent for my laundry. They have lost items of my laundry before / have had another customer's shirt randomly with my laundry (I feel like they shouldn't be mixing people's laundry at all). The most significant negative experience I have had with LIOX was the time all my clothes were stained after LIOX service. (May have slightly been my fault as I believe there was chapstick in my pocket), but I would think to provide superb service, they would check pockets to make sure they do not stain clothes. I contacted them after receiving my order and they asked for photos which I sent. Then they asked for photos of the laundry before I sent it to them to prove my clothes had been stained during their laundry service (I did not casually take photos of my whole laundry load before sending it). I gave up as it was too much effort to get a refund. They also often ask to pick up and drop off clothes before the time I choose on the app (which is annoying at times). In fact, today they texted at 4:30pm asking if they could drop off my order early (I had scheduled drop off between 8-10pm). They agreed to come at the scheduled time I chose. Then I got another text around 6pm with a picture of a shirt of mine that had a stain (I just wear it to sleep) saying they are trying hard to get the stain out - like you wanted to drop off my laundry an hour and a half earlier and now you are sending an update about trying to get a stain out? They returned someone else's laundry. When I called first thing yesterday morning to report it, they picked up and told me they'd investigate and keep me updated throughout the day. I received no followup at all. When I called multiple times that afternoon (during business hours), no one picked up. I left phone messages and sent an email to their info account. No response or update. This morning, I called and left additional messages on both of the listed numbers and also sent an email to info again, simply asking for an update. No response. For a company to be this cavalier about losing my laundry and not updating me makes me think they are either 1) overwhelmed dealing with too many customer service complaints (not a good sign) or 2) a scam. For a company to pick up the phone when I call to report a problem and then not pick up at all afterwards seems really, really suspect. Right now, it looks like Liox is a scam. TLDR; for every 5 shirts you pay for, only one is worn well. For an expensive service, they shouldn't take short cuts that cost the consumer. ----- People were friendly. Service was good, you receive a text when ready. Shirts came out well, while in plastic. Place is clean. They charge $6 a shirt for dry cleaning, I'm not used to NYC but in my opinion that's pricey. I opted for press and hang. Beyond that, they do one thing that negates the entire service which is extremely frustrating after what I paid. It's hard to describe in the photos attached, but they pin 5 shirts together at the cuff and interweave/fold the arms into each other, instead of pinning each shirt by the cuff individually. This means every time you grab a shirt from a pack of 5, you're "breaking open" a pack and the arms of the other 4 get fairly wrinkly when you pull them apart and let them hang for their turn to be worn. It's a shortcut that ends up defeating the purpose of getting wrinkles out of your shirts - 4 of every 5 shirts being wrinkled is 80% poor quality of service for your consumer. I've been getting dry cleaning / press and hang for years and I've never seen this. Often they're grouped, but by the hanger so you can take them apart without issue & wrinkles. Don't do this, people who pay for their shirts to be pressed/dry cleaned do it so it looks sharp. Otherwise I'll just pay for tumble wash and fold - that would genuinely be better than what I experienced this time upon opening a 5 pack. read more

I have had a wonderful costumer experiences through using Liox, and with the help of one of the concierges Nathan. I had had trouble logging into my account, and after calling their contact number and hanging up whilst on hold, I was pleasantly surprised to promptly receive a phone call back in order to be assisted. Nathan was both professional and patient with ensuring my account error (my fault) was able to be fixed. He kindly waited on the line until I could confirm that I was able to properly login and schedule my cleaning, which I appreciated. They have reasonable & competitive pricing with all day pickup and drop off time frames, and are in constant communication from beginning to end. I like the text notifications of exactly when I can expect my laundry concierge to arrive, and also when they will return 24 hours later. I highly recommend not bringing your laundry to Liox Cleaners, as my experience was pretty awful. I called the number listed the day before and inquired about their drop off wash and fold. The woman I spoke with said they were open. When I walked nearly 1/2 a mile to this location with a full laundry bag, a note on the door read that the location was closed. I tried the door anyway, and inside there was a woman working. I asked if the location was closed and where I should take my clothes instead, but all she said was "I don't know." It's super frustrating to walk all that way and have a location be closed and receive that kind of poor service. Richard the MANAGER has been aware of the fact that my clothes are missing and stopped answering my calls completely to avoid responsibility. You cannot reach him, the owners or anyone in customer service. I have visited two of there locations with no luck of contacting anyone who can address the matter. They stole BAGS of my clothes, delivered the wrong bag of clothes to me, gave me a bag of mildewed clothes, and ignored me for weeks! I still haven't received all of my clothes from them. I have had to file a fraud charge because they also refuse to give me a refund. There is only one location in Brooklyn with ONE accessible person of contact. They aren't the manager, they simply process the bags to be sent out. On Thursday March 4th I gave liox cleaners 6 bags of laundry (90 lbs) to be washed and folded plus 5 dry cleaning items. I received 3 of my 6 bags back the following Monday. I spent 3 days trying to contact Richard the manager. When I finally heard from him I got one text response that day and then nothing else. Over the course of the following 3 days I received a bag from them each day . I spent days trying to get a hold of customer service, the manager through his direct phone and by visiting the Brooklyn location. It was only then that I received my final bag of clothes. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I had NO underwear. I'm still in the process of trying to get a hold of someone because I'm obviously missing ANOTHER bag. read more

I have been using this laundry service for a few months and they usually did a good job--a little expensive, but good. I got my last order dropped off a few days ago with bleach stains all over a brand new set of sheets and other various garments. I contacted customer support and they asked me to provide pictures, which I did, but never heard anything back. I followed up and tried calling but couldn't get through. I am so upset. There is at least $200 worth of damage on some of my favorite pieces of clothing, not to mention a ruined set of sheets. I've been a loyal customer for a year but I've noticed I'm the past couple months the service has really gone downhill. Socks only returned in singles not pairs. Weird stains on my laundry. They are not as responsive. They used to be very prompt with pickups and deliveries, but I am currently trying to figure out where my laundry is as it was supposed to come between 9-11 am and it is now 2 pm. I am not one to write long reviews, but this one is much needed. We recently moved into our apartment, and the shared laundry room has been under construction for several months. We have never sent our clothes to be cleaned by anyone but ourselves, so we were very hesitant on trying Liox. We are so glad we got the guts to send out our linens and clothes, they are INCREDIBLE. Not one thing has been missing, or damaged. Not only that, everything comes back beautifully folded and smells amazing. I also have a dog that sheds a lot, and not one hair was left on our laundry when we got it back. Also, I have interacted with the company's customer service, and they are always super nice and accommodating. Our "driver" that picks up and drops off our laundry is always the same, and he is super sweet as well. I wouldn't want to send our laundry to anyone else! All of my socks and underwear were put in separate bags, my hang-dry clothes were all on hangers and placed in their own bag, and everything came perfectly folded. I have a lot of delicate clothing and almost always have stuff shrink in the wash but nothing did! & they did same day delivery and actually brought me my laundry an hour earlier than the delivery window. Do yourself a favor and use another company. I'm there costumer for almost a year. In the beginning they were ok always on time, however lately they started ruining my clothes and be late. In my last order they really messed up and I would never use them again!!! I sent my bags on Thursday eve and I was supposed to get them back at Friday between 7pm to 9pm. At 8.40 pm I got a message from them saying it won't be delivered today due to a problem they have and that I can reschedule for Sunday. I rescheduled for Sunday morning. The driver arrived with only one bag (when I sent two)! For two hours I tried calling to their customer care. When finally someone answered he said He'll check it and call you back in an hour. He called back and said that they found it and scheduled a new drop off for Monday until 8.30am. Surprisingly, no one came today so I had to call again. Someone answered and said he'll call back in 30 minutes. After nobody called for 2 hours I called again. The same representative answered, blaming me for their mistake and telling me that I need to wait for the delivery in their time slots (for the fourth time already). The representative was extremely rude, raised his voice and didn't give me an opportunity to speak ! I asked to speak with the manager and after arguing he said he'll be there only at 2pm. In addition, there was a $5.00 fee for RUSH return of the laundry which I did not request. I am home every day due to the Corona virus and it didn't matter to me when it was returned. However, since I haven't been able to get in touch with Liox at all, I'm left with leaving a yelp review. I tried Liox for the first time last week. I scheduled a pickup on Friday between 10AM-12PM and a next day drop off between 4PM-6PM. I get a text on Friday with a tracking link to see where my pickup driver was, he came to pick up my laundry in the designated time window - awesome, convenient. However, the next day, was an absolute nightmare. At around 5:45PM I start getting worried that I haven't received a text with my drop-off info. I figured I'd wait until 6:15PM to call. At 6:15PM I call the number from the website and I get a busy tone. I have to leave for a reservation so now I'm worried I'll have to leave my dinner and come home whenever the driver decides to drop off my laundry. I keep calling the number (at dinner) and still get a busy tone. I try the 800 number, it keeps hanging up on me. I reach out via website and email. Nothing. When The 212 number finally starts to go through, it goes to voicemail because they close at 8PM until Monday. Are you serious? Finally, at 9:30PM, I get a call from the delivery driver and he says he's at my apartment. Well, I'm not home because I had plans. He doesn't acknowledge that he's 3.5 hours late, doesn't apologize, says he had a lot of deliveries that night. I ask him to ring a few other apartment numbers and drop the laundry off at my door (a risk as packages get stolen in my building all the time) but no one in my building is home either. So he offers to reschedule. But we're supposed to have a snow storm the next day. So he says he'll drop it off first thing in the morning. Mind you, my sheets and clothes are in this laundry. And I wasn't planning on going home that night because of the impending snow storm. But now I have to because I'm afraid that if I don't, I'll never be able to get my laundry back. So, I go to bed without sheets, and get interrupted first thing in the morning with a blaring door bell, and the same delivery guy who offered know acknowledgement or apology for the entire ordeal. It's now Monday and still no response from the emails I sent, and the phone numbers still don't work. I don't blame the delivery guy, this sounds like major operational flaws in Liox all over. Over-scheduled delivery windows, no way to get in contact with anyone, missed delivery times, terrible customer service. Will continue to walk to my normal wash and fold where I know the people, they are consistent, and have fantastic service. read more

Due to the corona situation in Manhattan, my local laundry place is shut so I found Liox Cleaners online and it was incredible! Not only was it a same day service - on a Sunday, I didn't have to leave my apt or deal with anyone! They picked it up and dropped it off outside my apt door that night! Even text updates. I have kept a blonde 7-yr-old and a 15 lb tuxie inside a 2-bedroom apt since the Stay-at-Home order came to effect 3,457 years ago. I'm pretty sure they have colluded to deprive me of every shred of sanity. They soil, rip, or destroy everything on their path. They will either meow my ear off at 4AM for food or scream at the top of their lungs for the essential workers at 7PM. Liox Cleaners exceptional service has made me worry about one less thing. Overall, the actual service of washing and folding my clothes was excellent! My only issue was with the driver. Original Review: For my first time doing a wash & fold delivery service I chose Liox. I placed my order online where I was prompted to provide a tip for the driver and I did so. The driver showed up and when I met him at the doorway he said, "I saw that you tipped on the app. For the future, the company does not give me that money so I would prefer you tip in cash." I felt so uncomfortable as I had no cash on me. Then 24 hours later when he delivered the laundry I tipped him in cash and was confused that it didn't look like all of my laundry was delivered. He left and 10 minutes later he texted me and said he had forgotten my hanger items and asked that I meet him downstairs so he wouldn't have to come up the stairs. As a first time user, I didn't have anything to compare them to but to say the driver made me uncomfortable is to say the least. I sent my clothes out for pickup / delivery with Liox and everything came back okay, however my whites came back with track mark looking stains all over them. Almost like shoe prints or tire prints? However, they would not come out. They are permanent stains are on my white sheets, white towels, and my brand new white sweater that I wore one time. I am still at a complete loss for what this could be. Everyone I spoke to at Liox was nice enough, and they tried to clean my sweater again, however the stains are still not out and the white sweater is unwearable at this point. They then only offered a discount on future orders, and no form of compensation or refund on the damage they did to all of the white items I sent to have washed in their care that came back ruined! I don't understand why they think anyone would come back for a second wash after that! I definitely won't be unfortunately. I appreciated that they helped me try to clean it again, but at some point they need to take responsibility for ruining my items and compensate the customer for ruining a brand new sweater and all of the whites.......Also would like to note that when I went to the storefront they mentioned they are operating separately than the warehouse which does delivery/pickup, so I can't speak for the storefront side of things.... read more
