The inside of the restaurant was nice, it transports you away from the stripmall just right outside. My friend and I had a quiet lunch inside which was perfect for catching up. My friend also liked the food--maybe her first time getting the Happy Family. I've eaten at many of the local Chinese restaurants and Li's has been my favorite. The crab cheese wontons are filled to the brim and the crust has a nice flaky texture. The egg drop soup was not just water, egg, and cornstarch like many of the other nearby Chinese restaurants. The tofu, corn, and peas in it makes it so much better. My girlfriend's goto dish is the chicken in garlic sauce which she claims is the most delicious. The fish in chili sauce is not very spicy (and more sweet), but I was pleasantly surprised by it. The happy family isn't the most exciting dish, but it's a flavorful beefy sauce if that's what you're feeling. Most of the time, I just feel like something simple and get their sesame chicken which I highly recommend! We usually order takeout or delivery, but we've eaten in before too. The food is always still piping hot when it's delivered. The staff are all polite and nice which is fairly uncommon in Chinese restaurants. Obviously, it's not the most authentic place you could be eating at, but as a fast delivery/takeout option, Li's is as good as it gets! read more

oooh yummy, for Delivery that is, I can't give it a 5 star because it's not the best Chinese food I've had, but I do have to say for the fast delivery service and delicious quick food it's worth a 4 star for sure! Crab wontons - pretty good Pork Low Mein - Now this was the Best I've had for chinese delivery for SURE! Crispy beef - pretty good and good portion Shrimp w/ Lobster Sauce - it was good, but a bit salty. I like it salty, but I think today my budds weren't ready for it. The best part of our Chinese dinner was the cheap roll up calendar that my 3 year old loved. The food took an hour to deliver on a Tuesday, and they are barely a block from the house. They said 35-45 mins. The wonton soup was so salty no one could eat it. After very specifically asking for an adequate number of fortune cookies, we got 2 for a family of 5. The actual main courses got the 2 stars because we could actually eat them, unlike the soup. read more

Waitress said nothing to us about the wait, and only acknowledged that they were one chef down after we said we had to leave because we were running late. Steer clear--low quality food, *very* slow delivery, and rude delivery driver. I live one quadrant away from the restaurant and all each of the three orders that I've made have taken over an hour to arrive. This time, the driver was rude and threatening in response to a small tip. I LOVE BASIC SESAME CHICKEN WITH -- YES: SESAME SEEDS... And lots of 'em. The casual dine in or to go order of the Sesame Chicken was chewy, none-soggy, came with two scoops of steamed white rice and brown rice. The egg rolls are veggie ones, and the cheese ran-goons are something else. Very easy to chew on. They weren't burnt and the shell wasn't difficult to get into. One thing on the menu that I may come back and try might be: The Salt & Pepper Shrimp. First off, I'm already a huge fan of shrimp, it's always been nice to see Chinese restaurants play around with entrees of chicken and shrimp and mixing them around. The Shrimp is breaded and surrounded by onions, carrots, cabbage and sesame sauce. Soup is included in the meals. The decor of the interior is surrounded with 1990 chairs, some that remind of me of my mother's house in her living room. The walls have traditional paintings and Chinese lanterns. Li's is located inside a shopping center and with red letters big and able to spotted off of the street. Decent amount of parking. read more

1st time ordering for delivery. Crab Cheese wontons and egg rolls were delicious! Hot and crispy even thought it's cool outside. Sesame chicken did not have a lot of flavor and the texture was a bit dry. Fried rice was just rice with soy sauce - no egg bits or vegetables at all. Disappointing for a first try. read more

I am visiting Westminster and was looking for food that delivers to hotels and I called here. They have great customer service or so I thought. I ordered the kung pow chicken wasn't even spicy! It still had good flavor. I ordered the garlic chicken and they delivered me two Kung pow. I got my food at 930- they close at ten. When I called to ask them if I could have the garlic chicken the owner refused. She said what I ordered was the same thing just one without peanuts when that isnt the case. Inuits wanted what I ordered and the owner refused saying that garlic chicken is the same as king pow They delivered much faster than I expected and the food was super hot. However based on how the owner treated me I will not order there again when it was their mistake read more

Wow! Okay, so this place is a go to for us now. This is the first Chinese place my wife has expressed love ""for. So the tea is delicious, never ending and apparently it came with the meal. The server was very friendly, perfect etiquette, maybe a time traveler from when servers were more than expensive cashiers. The food was under priced, high quality and a large portion. They use lots of color for aesthetic and taste. Lunch came with a variety of soups that were very good and fried noodles with sweet and sour sauce. The lunch entree was double the size of what we paid for and it was top notch. I agree with the others who say this is a hidden find. We were warmly greeted when we came in on a Saturday around 6:30 PM and promptly seated. I tried a Tsing Tsing beer and it was pretty decent. When we went the restaurant was having a 2 for 1 special on beers (I think from 4-7 or so). We ordered one of those "family style" meals for 2 and everything was hot and fresh. Impressive, and sadly the first time I found this to be the case in any area Chinese restaurant. This is one of the few Chinese restaurants I have found that actually knows how to prepare Sesame Chicken like I remember it. The chicken was whole and not fatty and greasy. I didn't have a problem with the rice even on the basic steamed white version. For around $31 for 2 people we walked out with take home and had two beers. Not a bad deal. This is my favorite Chinese spot in Westminster!! The owner is one of the ABSOLUTE SWEETEST ladies on this planet she really goes above and beyond and cares about each and every customer. The food is always hot whether it's delivery, pickup, or dine in. The staff is very friendly and dutiful as well. Expensive for what you get. Smaller portions than other Chinese restaurants in the Westminster area. We ordered delivery. The food came warm and the vegetables were mushy. Not crunchy like wok cooked food should be. When the delivery person came to the door they said that I did not tip enough. Very rude. Then we find out the delivery person is actually the Manager/Owner. Handed the food to me made the statement about insufficient tip and then made us feel bad enough to enjoy the food. Can you say: 2 for 1 beer? Geez what a deal! Friday, Saturday, and Sunday specials are great and we didn't even know it when we decided to try it out. My hubby ordered a beer and when she said, "2-for-1" I saw his face brighten really fast. Their special also includes imported beer - so we basically paid $1.75 per beer. Love it! This is a hidden gem in this shopping strip mall. We ordered their dinner special (choice B) for $11.50 (or something like that) per person. I wasn't impressed with their soy-based wonton soup. It had no veggies and the broth wasn't clear like 99% of other wonton soups. Regardless, the appetizers (all deep-fried, yum!) and dinner plates were very good. Serves was outstanding... Very friendly service and food was good. It's not the hi end kind of place you have to visit a lot, but the food is pretty consistent in quality and taste. I get a number of different things: chicken Lo Mein, Seaame Chicken, Schezuam chicken. Nothing is slimy greasy or hockey puck hard. The crab n cheese wontons are flavorful, egg-rolls are average. Def a whole world away from those "poop a scoop" places. Service can be random depending on how busy they are and if you are a hosehead like some of the other reviewers. It's a mom n pop place so they appreciate you being there and being nice. The owner lady was showing my wife pictures of their trip somewhere while she way paying last night. The owner's daughter (our server) was harassing my daughter's BF about finishing his noodle bowl. The short story - good place for locals to grab a reasonably decent lunch or dinner. Welp, guess the search for a good local Chinese place goes on. We just moved to the area and gave this place the first shot at being our go-to (or to-go) Chinese restaurant. We ordered the combo B that comes with soup, egg rolls, cheese puffs, and chicken wings. For starters, I judge wonton soup hard and this was terrible soup. Basically beef broth, dumplings, and cabbage - blah. I'm not an egg roll fan but my partner is and the vote was one bite - that's all she ate. The chicken wings tasted old. For the entrees we chose the Triple Delight with garlic sauce and Sesame Chicken. They were fine, not amazing, but edible. Beware they use dark meat in their Sesame Chicken. Also, the service was slooooow. There was only us and one table of 3 in the whole place. Finally, the bathroom was dingy and the wall by the bathroom looked like it hasn't ever been cleaned. Gross. I swung into this easily overlooked Chinese restaurant for a quick weekday dinner. For $5.70 (including tax), you can choose from over a dozen lunch meals that include soup, an egg role, and steamed ice. Egg foo young is the Chinese standard by which I measure a new restaurant, and I was not disappointed. While not as crispy as I prefer, the flavor was marvelous and it was piled high with fresh veggies, including carrots, broccoli, celery, mushrooms, onions, and cabbage. Sweet sweet love. But even with all the positive reviews here, I really don't want to try it again. The lady on the phone and the guy who delivered my food seemed very nice, so I'm sad to be writing such a poor review. Orange chicken: unpleasant texture (fatty and yet tough at the same time) and synthetic orange flavor. I really couldn't eat more than a couple bites. "Crab cheese wonton": I pretty much ate these as my meal. However, there was absolutely no crab (or imitation krab) present. Not a fleck. Just take the word "crab" out. AVOID THIS PLACE. I rarely write reviews on here, but I had to on this place. I'm still feeling like I got ripped off. I came to the place once before last summer and was disappointed in the food then. I thought I'd try once more and turns out, I was even more disappointed from the visit the other day. To be fair to this establishment, I'll start with the good: 1. Very nice employees, including the elderly woman that came out and gave us our food. This was for take out. 2. The place seems to be usually empty when I drive past it, so not sure what that means. Unfortunately, I now have to describe the food, but trust me when I write this, this is for your benefit: 1. Orange chicken - horrible: the very first chicken was filled with rubbery grizzle. I was disgusted and spit it out. I tried a second one and the chicken seemed to have tasted old and kind of hard. I wondered if it was old and they gave it to me anyway? I put it in the fridge. I come home today, pull it out and reheat it. First chicken in and sure enough, a bland hardened chicken again. For grins, I tried one more and it was a repeat. I threw the whole thing in the trash. Absolutely disgusting. 2. Kung Pao. More bland and batter. Not close to the Kung Pao I have tried everywhere else. That too went into the trash. 3. Soup: so salty - disposal ate it (yuk). 4. Rice: what a horrible excuse for fried rice. Seriously, I got charged good for the rice and it was no more than white rice cooked and sprayed with soy sauce. Not anywhere close to Chinese fried rice. What a sham. 5. Price: for the price paid, this was a total rip off. There is a good place on 120th/Sheridan (N/E) where the food is more real Chinese. Lastly, I'm seriously not sure how this establishment manages to remain in business for the price and food served, but trust me when I say this, avoid this place. Usually Yelp does not serve me wrong - but boy did they on this place. I wanted some chinese delivery and being new to the delivery area trusted yelp to recommend a great place. The food arrived promptly which is always nice. HOWEVER, the only edible thing was the spring rolls. We ordered the general tso's chicken and bbq pork chow mein as well. Barf! read more
