No. Every Sunday we go out for brunch, after church. Out of all the places we've eaten this has been the worst. The food was bland and just meh. My son got steak and eggs, my husband the Billy burger, me an omelette and a pancake, granddaughter got a pancake and sausage. The tea was water, my husband asked for a second one, and the same. The waitress was nice but we had to ask four times for silverware. This was our first and last visit. We came in the door and I told the lady at the register that there were four of us. She literally said...look around, if you see a table with menus, you can sit there. Weird. Who wants to walk around and look for a table. Thankfully, an older gentleman came out and asked how many in our party and he found us a table. read more

Cute little diner type of establishment, where everybody calls you honey or baby. Great attentive and friendly service too. I stumbled in here after a little weekend trip to this part of the world, so I thought I would try a local specialty. Ordered the Goetta Ruben... what is Goetta you ask? Apparently a mystery meat loosely based on a German sausage filling and maybe crossed with a breakfast sausage. Brown crumbly and flavorful. Surprisingly tasty on a Ruben. The fries were also done very well, nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just as they should be. read more

I was in the area with my BFF and wanted breakfast. So here we ended up since I seen it on Yelp and wanted to try it. Oddly we both ordered the same meal, normally we try different things and share, but this trip was different. The food was very good and I would gladly come back here again. The coffee wasn't bad either. I am happy to say I would gladly come here for breakfast anytime I am in the area and enjoy a good and tasty meal. The staff was wonderful and the place was very clean. Parking is limited, but it is worth finding a spot to try the place. I will be back. read more

Awesome. Go here. Packed for lunch. That's a great sign. Another Yelp hidden gem. All the food looked good. I had the pork tenderloin sandwich. Came with Kringle cut fries. Sandwich was crispy and hot. Fries were excellent. And very reasonable. I'm a simple guy. I like and want the best. Doesn't have to be fancy. Great local eaterie! I live in Fairfield, so I'm always on the hunt for solid food. Lisa's is my go to. I had breakfast Saturday. Decided to order Steak and Eggs- now for 12.00 I gotta tell you my expectations weren't too high on the steak, but it was killah! Cooked perfectly, with nice runny eggs and crispy hash browns. Very delicious, eggs were cooked just like I wanted them and the corn beef was superb. Also ordered a waffle, this was probably one of the best waffles I've ever had! Crispy on the outside, nice and soft on the inside. Lightly covered with powder sugar and added some butter and syrup. Lisa, the owner, was my waitress and she was great. After having a disappointing experience a few months ago (40-minute wait for food), we decided to give Lisa's another chance for breakfast on Sunday. After being seated, we waited 10 minutes before we saw a waitress. After ordering, we waited another 35 minutes for our food (pancakes and French toast). I'd give the food a "B". This a very down-home diner with friendly, welcoming and "no-nonsense" service. The food is adequate. While it is not fantastic or nothing to write home about, it is still good and worth a visit. One really good thing is the price. You can get a good meal at a decent, if not low, price. Because the place is small, they use mirrors to make it appear larger. It think probably part of its charm. This was a great experience. We were greeted immediately after entering and we were told to sit anywhere we wanted. Missy was very cordial and a great waitress. Our food was delicious and very reasonably priced. The three people in our party ate for $25 total before tip. The other patrons were friendly as well. Everyone smiled, and had a pleasant demeanor. This place isn't for Black people. My friend and I walked in and the entire place came to a halt. We were told to seat ourselves but people came in after were seated by someone. It took almost 10 mins for someone to come to our table. The food came out warm not hot. The only time the waitress asked if everything was ok is when she dropped the bill off. And when she asked the entire section seated near us literally turned in their seats waiting for our response!! It was eerie. The girl who rang us out wouldn't even look at me. I ordered the eggs Benedict special, but the eggs were not cooked as fully as eggs Benedict should be. The food was decent, nothing special. Over priced, but the one star review is for what I overheard. My waitress was across the restaurant from me talking to another customer about a trip she was thinking about taking to California. She said "it's in San Francisco, that's where all the gay people are." I was as far away from her as I could have been in the restaurant, and she said it loud enough for me to hear. This is completely unacceptable behavior, especially in a public setting, at your job. None of the other workers called her out on it or even seemed to react in any way. I wanted to give a local restaurant my business while waiting for service on my car. It's really a shame this is how she represented her business today. read more

Very solid 4 stars! The food was great & service was great. Came here on a Sunday for lunch with my boyfriend & we loved it. Boyfriend got the Philly cheese steak which I thought he would regret as he is a PennStation lover. (& how can you top that, right?) But it was actually very good & flavorful. Most places who serve a Philly I find are sort of dry & not greasy or cheesy enough. This one was very cheesy. Soft bread. Good flavored meat from the onions, mushrooms, & green peppers. The only thing he commented on was that he thought it was small. But by the time he finished that & his fries he was stuffed. I ordered the Octoberfest sandwich which is what he was going to get but chickened out because he couldn't remember if he liked sauerkraut. Lol so I gave it a try myself. We both loved it! It was shredded pork loin & bacon on a pretzel bun with Swiss cheese & sauerkraut. It was very big & filling. So much that the fillings were falling off the sandwich. I got it with fries but most sandwiches here come with chips & pickle. There were a lot of interesting choices on the menu and I'm sure we'll be back soon to give those a try since our first encounter was great! read more

If you need a little breakfast, you can't go wrong here! The hubby and I decided to stop here on our way to do some nearby grocery shopping. I'm so glad we did. I was torn between the corn beef hash and the one below it (country breakfast?). I went with the later since I was more in the mood for a little biscuit and gravy. It came with hash browns, sausage gravy (very good sausage gray I might aedd), two perfectly cooked sunny side up eggs on top (you can get your egg anyway you want), and a biscuit. The portion size was more than adequate. The coffee was good, the service prompt and friendly. I could see us making this a morning stop if we need to fill the belly. read more

My Husband and I ate there today, and I will say we feel this place has lost quality in the service and food. His hamburger was served on a soggy greasy bun, my sausage texture was like rubber, hashbrowns were burnt and could taste the burn taste in them. Service was poor, they never stopped to ask how everything was or give husband drink refills, we had to flag Server down to ask for a refill and tell them about the food. Bottom line, we will not be going back. We had been going there off and on for the last 7 years and always seemed to be very nice and good service and food. So something must have changed. read more
