My experience is really bad and I think it actually might top all the other ones here. I went there cuz my friend said they have cheap haircuts and $1 tips. The first time I went in, this asian lady fucked up my haircut by shaving the strip of hair above my ears totally bald, on both ears. Let me just ask you something, why would you assume somebody wants their hair cut like that? Hair above the ears bald? Who the FUCK does their hair like that? So I go inside my car and I'm like "FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!!!!!", and I'm practically crying. You know that feeling where you realize the next month of your life is ruined, and thinking about it more doesn't help because you realize you're still fucked. Like Jen said, every time I looked at the"mistake", you could add horror music. Great, so there goes a month where I couldn't t get laid if I tried cuz I look like a total fag and that's how long it takes to grow back. A hot girl even pointed it out once. A hoodie wouldn't cover it up. But I'm a nice guy and I believe in people, so I went back and told this asian lady cutting my hair that I don't want the hair above my ears shaved bald. I explain it to her for like 2 minutes JUST TO MAKE SURE she got it. She even expressed that she understood by looking at me, nodding, and saying "ok". But then she FUCKS IT UP AND SHAVES THE HAIR BALD, and I'm like WTF, you SAID YOU UNDERSTOOD, BITCH!!!!!!!!!. So she was obviously lying about understanding my instructions which is fucked up not that she cares. But it gets worse... Since I wasn't experienced enough at life and I had too much faith in people, I went there again. Of course I told them not to cut the hair above my ears bald, They didn't care. Same shit happened. They acted like they understood, and lied, because they only want your money and are afraid to admit that they don't know more than two words of english. These people seriously made me become racist against asians. They're assholes. Every time I went there it was the same: I explained what NOT to do, in great detail, for two minutes, in the simplest terms, they pretend they understand, they casually speak chinese to their asian lady coworker friend while they're cutting my hair, then they shave my hair above the ears bald. I even had a vibe that while they were speaking chinese to eachother, they were talking about fucking up my hair Like "heheh this is gonna be good watch what I do to this white boy". I mean, it DID happen three times in the exact same order, that is, shaving the hair above my ears bald right after the casual chinese talking. All the visits together added up to like 4 months where I couldn't get laid if I wanted to cuz I had to wait for the baldness to grow back. I mean I was 20 when I went there, don't they think I care about getting laid? Anyway, I might go there some day to give them one more chance, but if they make my hair above the ears bald again, I'm just gonna flip them off. I'm gonna flip them off, not pay, and walk out. I'm serious, I've been a little pussy the other times by paying the money and not complaining, but next time I'm gonna beat some ass. The tall bitch with purple hair was cutting some mans hair while some other lady was cutting my sons & the whole time she was trying to flirt with him asking him personal questions about what he was doing & how he was doing things. you can tell by his face and eye roll that man was annoyed and just wanted his cut to make his way out of there & go on about his day. After reviewing this place...I have been there atleast thrice..only in the hope that the last screwed up job would get better this time..but nope..they have become crappy and crappy each time...there is a section of my hair that never got snipped..despite pointing it out to the person who cut..They just look at it and say its done..and then start speaking in their own language and laughing..they always mock at their customers in their mother tongue..and the girls are a huge chatter box not interested in their work at all...Lisa I think is the only one who does a decent job...I think I would give her a try one last time..and then I guess I am done with this place...Sure its cheap but I would like quality as well..Its pretty much your luck..sometimes they are good..sometimes you would curse the moment you walked into this place... read more

This place is affordable, convenient, and good for walk-ins. You should give them a try :-) I've been coming here for over a decade and I will continue to do so until I move too far away to be able to make it consistently. Tina, my hairstylist, is a wonderful, caring, professional, talented person who genuinely cares about her clients. She always makes an effort to talk to you and ask how you are doing. It's like catching up with an old friend whenever I come here. I've only had my haircut by Tina at this location, but the other hairstylists are also very nice. Dude, $8 Hair cuts!!! I found this location 4 years ago after trying their downtown Sunnyvale location. This one (on El Camino Real) has better parking and stylists! I've been a happy customer for the past 4 years....and TINA's the best! I get a haircut every 3 weeks like clock work! I always make an appt by phone in the morning, because they get very busy in the evening. Tina really takes care of me. I always get a hair cut, shampoo, and her great attitude!!! I just wish I spoke Vietnamese so I can listen in on their gossip...hehehe! *They don't try to up sell or accessorize the heck out of you with products. But yesterday, it was a young guy when it was my turn. He cut the hair all right, quick, rude, impatient, nothing special. He had the attitude of not wanting to be there.
