Tea Sandwiches: Artichoke Parmesan, Sundried Tomato & Goat Cheese, and cucumber & mint Dessert: Pistachio Cream Cheesecake& Mini Trio Tea Selection: My Lady's Respite (Black Tea) & Moroccan Mint Tea (Green Tea) My favorite was the lemon curd. You must not leave without it. I bought a small jar. The tea sandwiches are tasty. My favorite is the one with goat cheese. You will not taste that pungent goat cheese taste as they meticulously mixed their spread where it harmoniously blended with the herbs and spices, I could eat more, but I was a lady for a day. We closed it out with desserts. We each have a pistachio cheesecake and the mini trio. The BEST part, our tea, was still hot after two hours. They have this tea pot sleeve, and it definitely served its purpose. On our way out, we spent a few minutes in the gift shop and bought a few niknaks. I got a tea pot sleeve that kept my tea hot for more than two hours, a sifter, lemon curd, and my Moroccan Full Tea Leaves, which I had while I was there. I think the food is not my cup of tea. We didn't like the dessert most so we barely touch the dessert. Sandwich were ok, nth special. Original scones are good. Selection and prices are so so. Didn't feel like they worth $45. I will say everything was average. Nth I can say is bad or good. Service was ok. The waitress didn't look very happy. You only can stay for two hrs. If you want to share, you have to pay$10more. But honestly, one set is not enough for two people anyway. Environment is nice and clean. Street parking is not too bad. I love this beautiful happy place. I had my Bridal shower here about 2 decades ago and have been coming ever since. I love everything about it. At one time it was in a Victorian house in Menlo Park, it was breathtaking, and each location I've seen has been beautiful and unique. The setting is perfect, the tea is luxurious, the food is decadent, and the staff is wonderful! There are many precious memories to be had and cherished. The bill is the fault of the people who wanted to raise the cost of everything; no, not politicians or business owners. High prices everywhere are due to those who chose to "fight" to raise the minimum wage(s), leading to costs that kill small businesses. So, please don't complain about the people's choice, be thankful that this beautiful gem is still willing to keep fighting for its life. This is just a sweet and short update on my ost recent visit. I am so happy to be able to be one of the first people to experience their first day of reopening inside dining during Covid. They are as wonderful as ever and nothing has changed except for the social distancing and masks which the staff are very diligent about. They are still as amazing as they have always been and their food, teas and holiday specials are just spectacular. I don't think I will ever find a place that tops this establishment, it has yet to happen. Thank you to the staff who are always very friendly and accommodating. My friend and I enjoyed tea here recently. We used to go to the other Tea Treasures in the Pruneyard and Santana Row and missed them when they closed. I was well satisfied with my choice named after Downton Abby that included a small bowl of hardy chicken rice soup. Our teas aldessert and I decided on the autumn dessert with small madeleines and pastries. There are gift items for sale in the tea room. We both bought soap dishes shaped like old fashioned bath tubs. So cute. We found this a refreshing place for an afternoon respite and a welcome change of pace from the hustle and bustle of Silicon Valley. read more

I have been wanting to try this place for a long time, and I finally came. This place is suuuuper cute. The interior design makes you feel like you are in a British cafe. All the furniture, decorations, and dishes were all just so cute. I ordered the duchess set and it came with one decently sized plate of food, a pot of tea of your choosing, and a cake for dessert. You can argue that all the food was dessert though. The food was actually really good. It was full of flavor and felt comforting to eat. The only con was that every food item you ate was creamy and full of butter. So at the end, you will definitely feel full or a bit cream'd out. The waitress was also really nice. They have a gluten free tea menu!! You can get tea sandwiches, warm scones, brownies and little pastries. I used to visit with my girlfriends for easy, tea parties. We'd sit for probably too long, munching on treats, drinking tea, talking about all the things. It was lovely. You wore your prettiest clothes and sat at a sweet table covered in delicious carbs. They've also got a shop in the front filled with beautiful things. With Covid, I haven't been back to eat inside, but I've ordered takeaway meals to celebrate special occasions at home. They box everything nicely and give you lovely tea sachets to prepare at home. It's helped us to create some special times with our little one. read more

EDITTED:My friends assured me the meal was not comped. They took me to the hospital to avoid paying the 1000 ambulance fee. I tried calling in the past regarding getting my hospital bills covered and left messages but to no avail. I told the staff I was anaphylactic to nuts and they proceeded to give me a cookie with a nut on the top of it I was not comped for the meal and received no apology. Staff was nice and decor was charming. Food....not very good. We got a few of the $47+ teas and the servings were underwhelming. The bread was dry in many of the tiny sandwich selections. The "cucumber heart " was a little two-bite heart cut out of a full sandwich with one cucumber slice. The next sandwich was a small square cut-out with sun dried tomato cream cheese. The last sandwich was a regular tea sized sandwich with that artichoke parmesean spread you buy at the grocery deli. The egg salad was flavorless. The scone was pumpkin and underwhelming. The quiche was really good. We got the strudel, chocolate cake, peppermint cheesecake and pumpkin cheesecake. They all tasted like they were frozen and from a restaurant supply company. The peppermint cheesecake was green and inedible. The side of whipped cream was from a can. The ambiance was charming, the service was decent. It is just not a good value and not as much fun as being served on a tier with food that is much better quality (Lovejoy's in SF is far superior). As the prior reviewer stated, it's just not the best bang for your buck, as far as tea service goes. We spent over $200 for maybe two sandwiches a half a piece of normal serving of quiche and inedible desserts. We also had a side salad that was tiny and $12.95. The tea selection was broad. My friends decided to throw me a surprise engagement tea party and planned it at this location! I have actually heard about Lisa's Tea Treasures before, about 10ish years ago, but I've never actually been to any of the locations so this was my first time! It seems like this location might be a little small. It's in a tiny plaza where they're located under some business offices or apartments. The main parking is at the back of the building. There aren't many spaces and it seems like it gets filled up quickly, especially when there are events. There's also street parking if the lot is full. The girls actually had made a reservation about a month in advance and our reservation was right when the shop opened. So when we got there, we were seated right away and there was no one else there. The inside was very cute and the ladies at the front were very nice. They even congratulated me when the girls told them that I was recently engaged. Once there were more people int he shop, it actually started to get a little loud on the other side of the shop (which I think was there the event was). But our side was a little more quiet since there weren't as many people. To be completely honest, the service was just okay. Our server was very nice and very sweet but it was a bit of a struggle to get a hold of someone, especially with another event going on. Then mentioned that if we needed anything, then we should ring the bell (that was at the table). There were a couple of times when we would ring it but it would take us a while for someone to actually come help us. The food was really good and the selection of tea was great as well! There were 5 of us so we each chose a flavor and then just shared our teapots with each other. I really loved the food selection that I chose! In addition to the food selection, we were also given some Biscoff cookies with some lemon spreads. With the selection I chose, it came with a cup of clam chowder, a couple of sandwiches, and even some dessert. The cup of clam chowder was so good, I would actually compare it to Fish Hopper in Monterey! I really loved the chicken and cilantro croissant sandwich and also the fruit and cream cheese sandwich! I was so tempted to buy some separately so I could eat more at home, but the prices were very high. For the dessert, I chose the pineapple sorbet and it was actually served inside of a frozen pineapple, it was really good! Came here with a small group (~10) and we got to sit in a long table by the window, which is lovely. The whole place looked romantic and pretty, and all the servers had nice maid outfits which contributed to the ambiance. I ordered the special Irish plate, which came with a soup in addition to all the finger sandwiches and scones. I found all the components to taste pretty good. I do wish they used the traditional tiered plating though, as it was all the items were crammed on a small plate and didn't look very nice. The staff may have been giving us extra time to chat, or maybe they were too busy/understaffed. Sometimes we had to wait a bit to get service. Also they came with the dessert so late that everyone just decided to take it to go, which is a nice option they offered but maybe we would've enjoyed it there if they brought them out sooner. It was great to be back at Lisa's Tea Treasures. I think their location at the Pruneyard was one of the first teas I ever went to in this area, and I was really disappointed when their Pruneyard location closed. I followed closely online the process of them finding a new place and the opening (which seemed to take forever, cannot imagine how the owner felt). The new location is in a mixed residential-commercial building right on Winchester. Since it just opened, they don't have a sign out front but you can look in the window and see all the tea stuff. There was plenty of parking in back, and I'm guessing you could park in the street or even in the large parking complex down the street. I like the layout of the new location a lot, they have several sizes of rooms where you could do a private gathering or just have a table for two. Plus they have two bathrooms which is important in a restaurant that serves a lot of liquids! The shop also has a good layout and feel like I'm less likely to bump into the teacups when I'm looking around. I went with a large group and so we had the My Lady's Respite which has six tea sandwiches and they are all different! I know I'm just reacting to the last tea I had where we had a bunch of sandwiches that tasted identical, but I really like how Lisa makes the sandwiches unique and flavorful. Also the scone was good, and the dessert plate was really unique with a cookie that looks like a hat! We made reservations for eight, four adults and four kids on a Sunday for my friend's niece's birthday.
