I have to ask: has this baker ever eaten a real noon khamei or cream puff from Iran? How can anyone think it's acceptable to sell something like this? The texture was dry, the flavor was nonexistent, and the burnt aftertaste lingered like a bad mistake. If this is the quality you're offering, you have no business running a bakery. Either learn how to make proper pastry or shut down before you embarrass the community further.

this persian bakery used to be very good but not anymore. stopped by today to buy few pastries however after trying they were stale and not fresh. sounds like it was sitting out for a while. not to mention i paid $18 for four and throw them away. this is not how you do business if you want to stay in business

Eclairs and Napoleon

Stumbled upon this lovely little bakery. The desserts are beautiful and so good. The owner was kind and she mentioned everything is a made in house. I got the chocolate and pistachio eclairs and a slice of the napoleon cake. So worth it, would go back, especially for the pistachio eclair!

Much if different baklavas

This place is like 3 and half stars. Stopped here randomly bring over desserts over to a friend's house. While I was browsing I believe the owner offered me a sample of a cream puff. Don't know if it was made I'm the store or if it was one of the store bought ones but it was very nice and it tasted very good. I should have asked them. Maybe next time. But I want to say that this was my first time trying some new and unique flavors pg baklava like the chocolate flavored one.( the dark colored ones from the picture) There was one that was made purely from pistachios (green one from the picture). That one was really good. That was recommended by one of the service members that I asked. There was also a rise it was some sort of floral flavored baklava, it was not my favorite, but it was unique, and I was glad to try it. A little on the pricey side but worth the try.

Thoughtful and kind!! Highly recommend Honey Bakery.

We bought a variety of items. They were fresh and very tasty. Definitely going back. This is a hidden gem.

My favorite coffee shop in Campbell…read more I get the iced cubano with oat milk every-time I am here, and I still am not sick of it. It is the perfect amount of sweetness and the barista's are very consistent in making the drink. The inside is small but cozy, refreshing to be in after all the new coffee shops are super modern. They have three bigger tables that you can work at, as well as a skinny long table in the back. I love to come here to get my work done with some good coffee, as I will never be disappointed in finding a seat or having a bad experience. They also have good food, I have tried their salmon and avocado toast. Both are good and filling. They also have yummy pastries that usually sell out in the morning. Thank you barefoot for being my comfort cafe!

When my turn came up the barista was short tempered with me for not knowing what sizes the drink came in promptly when those options weren't displayed anywhere on the menu or table (note: what's shown on their menu is price for 8 oz hot and 16 oz iced, but not what the sizes are for hot). Then as she was making the drink, she had mine sitting at the counter for a good few minutes without calling my name because she was busy chatting it up with a customer, handing him a note, talking about travel plans, etc. When I asked where my drink was and that I had been waiting for a while the other barista proceeded to say that they've just been busy. No, barista making my drink was just not serving each customer kindly and equally. I've come here for years and have had good experiences, but based on my last visit, I'd come back for the quality coffee but not with a high expectation for the service and if I had a lot of time between grabbing coffee and the next thing - I was here for over 20 mins before I got my drink

I've been here a few times, and I honestly don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet…read more The moment you walk into Manresa Bread, you're greeted right away. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight. It had subtle notes of orange peel, whiskey, and cardamom, making it unique. The latte art was beautiful too. Overall, Manresa Bread is one of those cafés that makes you want to sit down with a laptop or a book and spend a few hours there. The only downside is there are no power outlets, so come with a full battery if you're planning to work. Must orders: Levain sourdough toast with butter and the Kouign-amann. Both are worth the trip.

I'm not even a lemon/lime cake person normally, but my girlfriend wanted to order it and I've not been able to go back. It's so unreal, every time I have that it hits. I'll be unable to really treat myself to anything different for a long time. Blessed to be ruined.

It's like an unobtainable quest but whenever I have the chance to fill that empty void, I do so by randomly sampling. So what makes a good empanada? To me, I look for a buttery and flaky outer shell. This should not be overly oily or dense. The dough ratio should not overpower the filling and the empanada should be able to hold the stuffed contents well. I personally gravitate towards savory fillings which should be moist but not soggy. Best Artisan Empanadas menu offers a long list of drinks ranging from espresso, teas, lattes, frappes, smoothies, and alcoholic drinks. The empanadas come in savory and sweet options. These can be purchases as is or served with sides, turning the item into a full blown meal. There are 4 different salads available for those who want a healthier alternative. As a quick snack and first attempt of trying out BAE, my sister and I made the purchase of: *Mango Tropical Shaker *Chicken & Mushroom Empanada *Traditional Beef Empanada *Argentinian Chimichurry Sauce The empanadas are amazing when it comes to the dough standpoint. Bae has the recipe down to a T and will make even the toughest eater a fan! The chicken and mushroom empanada was exceptionally delicious- creamy, flavorful, and very tasty. I would have easily grabbed another if we didn't already have plans for our next bite. The traditional beef empanada was good but the raisins totally threw me off. The plump, overly sweet raisins weren't a good combo with the salty olives according to my tastebuds. Again, this was still very doable but I made sure to remove each raisin I came across. The mango tropical shaker was okay, just a little too sweet for me. 5/5 stars for BAE's empanadas. I eagerly look forward to trying the panzerotto [pizza], chorizo, and assorted breakfast empanadas. Parking is disastrously busy so come here with patience- it'll be worth all the hassle. I promise!

They have a good variety of Peruvian empanadas and the place smelled really good. My boyfriend and I shared the Beef, Lomo Satado, and the Peach Blueberry! The flavors in both the Beef and Lomo was perfect with the seasoning and what was surprising is the Mango Chutney which made it even more tastier; it had a sweet but tangy profile. The peach and blueberry as a sweet treat was a perfect close out to our lunch.
