Service and food is subpar. I went there for lunch and was met by the counter service person who was busy with his cell phone rather than greet me like any other business would do. Seemed to me like that person would rather be somewhere else rather than be a counter attendant. I ordered my food and found it to be quite expensive, which wouldn't be bad, if the food was quality. This restaurant fell short of expectations. This restaurant is primarily a drive thru, and a take out place. There are no places to sit. Have my grand daughter visiting from out of state and wanted to try some Mexican food. So i had her pick up some food at this location and once she came back, She felt pestered by the drive thru employee asking for her #. Of course she denied with silence and left quickly as soon as he handed her the food. Very unprofessional and creepy. I assume it's privately own so i doubt calling them directly and complain won't do any good as they will deny the incident. With that being said we will take our business else where and never return. This is a cool little taco shop on your way into Catalina. Located right as you enter Catalina on the right side. Two large metal picnic tables outside and a few small tables inside. It is a small taco shop, but on both visits I have made the staff was incredibly friendly. The green chili tacos are amazing as well as the ground beef tacos. My son would recommend the taco salad. All well seasoned and very fresh. It will be hard to pass this little shop up as there are a couple of other Mexican restaurants that deserve equal visits in Catalina. But when you want a quick bite and you're not looking for the restaurant experience I highly recommended this taco shop. Happy eating all! read more

Watched them building this place up and have been wanting to try it. Small place when you walk in with a couple of tables on the sides of the door. The gentleman behind the counter could use a few lessons in dealing with the public. He was very uninviting, to say the least, almost like it was a chore to take our order. We got our food quickly, and for the most part, it had lots of good flavors with a couple of exceptions. Bobbie ordered the taco salad, and I got 3 tacos, one ground beef, one carnitas, and one carna asada. All 3 of my meats were great, as was the meat in Bobbies taco salad. Where it fell short for me was the guacamole. It was very watery, almost as if it had been run through a blender with water. Bobbies' refried beans were also very watery. They had good flavor, but the consistency was a bit off-putting. We will give them a bit and come back to see what had changed. read more

Every visit here brings another reason to come back again. Food tastes great, is always hot and prices are competitive with other Mexican food restaurants. There are few places that offer green chile (chile verde) but Lito's has it and it is delicious. You might find Green Chile con carne elsewhere but who needs beans mixed in with the pork?
