Had a weird craving for Little Caesars pizza. When my kids were little and money was tight - it was a treat. We ordered a thin crust pepperoni pizza and crazy bread. Pretty standard stuff. It wasn't awful but by the time I got it home about a 5 minute drive - it was stone cold. The bread sticks were undercooked and so greasy wet. It wasn't awful and the staff were nice. Well ok here goes. I ordered from here for delivery off of Instacart, which 9 times out of 10 the various delivery people get lost and my order is 30-45-1 hour later than it should be. So I'm reviewing on cold food or barely warm. I assume it would have tasted better hot. Considering it would have been faster to drive there(if I could, currently only one functioning leg.) I have learned my lesson with Instacart. I should review them. I have put directions in the app repeatedly. Ok back to Little Caesar's; pizza, while not bad I didn't care for the rubbery crust and although it had "enough" pineapple and Canadian bacon(which was weirdly cut into small chunky rectangles, which were also kinda rubbery) the cheese and toppings stopped short of the crust by at least an inch so no need for breadsticks when they're built in. Also on order were buffalo wings which were very peppery, with a very runny buffalo sauce. They should put it in a little ketchup like container to dip in. But they were ok tasting. The little pizza cup like bites were very over cooked and I'd rate them not highly at all. You'd think they'd be yummy and flavorful but we did not find them so. So overall it wasn't a bust and ok since I couldn't go out, and was very hungry. Kinda the same as I feel whenever I go to fast food. It's never A + culinary experience and usually will do, but nothing to rave about. Perhaps I'm letting them off too easy because the food definitely would have tasted better hot, wouldn't it Instacart? Actually amending that to say, the pizza cups re heated were cheesy and hot, not bad. Would have bee very good actually if they'd been cooked less that having the bottom of the bread cup close to burnt. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. The very worst little Caesars in the world, I've been going to this one for years but the last couple months they've been terrible. The past two Friday's I've gone in there and there's been at least 10 people waiting a very long time for there food. Even people who preordered were waiting 30 minutes, one guy actually walked out and said "I'm not waiting anymore whoever wants my pizza can have it"!! The deep dish pizza, now called "Detroit Style", is a poor example of that style and far from what their deep dish pizza used to be. The Italian cheese bread is equally poor compared to what we are used to getting. I cannot recommend this restaurant. I still love Little C's, but this location is digging it's own grave. With a nationwide worker shortage, attention should be paid to existing employees and quality of service. This McHenry location decided to add 'online ordering' to their offerings, and it's turned this location into a madhouse. Expect to see literal crowds of people standing around, inside and out, waiting for their orders- some more then 45 minutes. I showed up for mine, and after over half an hour, with two kids in tow, I decided it wasn't worth the wait, and we left. Lately, there has been one employee doing all the pizza prep, while the cashier takes orders and boxes pizza. I don't blame them for being disgruntled or annoyed, they are fighting a losing battle. To the manager at this location-you need to turn off online ordering and get back to focusing on walk in orders, or at the very least, put a max on pizzas someone can walk in and order (no one should be walking out with 20 pizzas during a rush). As I entered the store, a woman been standing before me. She wants to order. she was not taken care of until after the next person who just came in to the store. The staff who was helping us look like he just woke up from his bed. can't even greet someone. and Just gave us our pizza. I went back to my office and realized, I'm missing 2 of my pizza. I called and end up arguing with a Spanish manager. and he hung up the phone and never answered my call again. unprofessionally handled. A customer is always right. And you never should act and treat angry customer like that, otherwise do not become a manager. And the argument continue. Unsatisfactory visit the other day while picking up a large order. The girl at the counter wasn't personable in the slightest. I asked for a receipt as it was a business expense and she never gave me one and I didn't notice because I had to carry my 8 pizzas to my car. I called and spoke to a female manager who said that she couldn't help me or send it via email because they don't have an email. I've never worked in a restaurant that didn't have an email, how do you correspond? Will definitely not be doing business here again after the negative conversation with the manager. read more

This location has gone downhill over the years. The staff is horrible! Between not wearing masks, eating while cutting the pizza, and talking about customers as they are standing right there. My family has been stopping in Little Caesars at least once a week (on average, sometimes more) and either manage to choke down a slice of stale cardboard that the cheese sat in the warmer long enough to materialize into under cooked, over-warmed phlegm - or, once in a while find ourselves pleasantly surprised by a relatively fresh pizza. I went in to order an ExtramostBestest pepperoni pizza. After waiting about 25 minutes I requested a refund. Three employees approached me and when I asked to see a manager the snit behind the counter asked which one and stated that all three were the managers. I again requested a refund, after which the snit replied "you know its a Friday night, right?" I repeated my request for a refund and asked for the General Manager's name. The pizza appeared and the General manager's name was mumbled and the mumbler walked into the back. I don't enjoy sarcasm, abuse, and ridicule with my pizza. So I wanted to try the pepperoni stuffed Pizza because what American doesn't want to shovel this box of sadness down their throat. I was given a time of 8-10 mins. 20 mins later I step to the counter to claim my prize of sadness and shame. The young lady at the counter asked what i wanted and i told her i was still waiting for the stuffed pizza. She replies with "you and three other people." I looked confused so she told me she would check on it. They hadn't started making it. Fantastic. So I started noticing the folks working in the back because, ya know...i had free time on my hands. The level of confusion in the back would have been halarious had I not been let down by some of the best and brightest youth our generation has to offer. At least the little blonde employee who looked clinically depressed was able to eat her crazy bread by the oven while staring at the customers, at least she wasn't going to starve. So I was able to take some solace in my situation. I did receive a complementary crazy bread so I shouldn't complain so much...right? I'm giving one star because of the aforementioned fight against child hunger....that and I think yelp requires it as a minimum. A few years ago they had the pretzel pizza and when i heard it came back i called and placed an order for pick up. I ordered 2 pretzel pizzas one without pepperoni and one with. When i got there to pick it up the guy seemed confused about my order and i even told him what i had ordered. When i got home i got one pretzel pizza with pepperoni and a normal pepperoni pizza. If I could I would give him no stars. I work 14 hour days and I stopped there just to pick up one crazy bread with the marinara sauce for 386 or whatever it is he. I take it home and my one lunch break to go on eat it and it's all burn at the bottom it is so crusty there and feels like all the ladies legs so I called to see what they could do about it and she said ma'am I either need a picture of it or I need a receipt for proof and I said it was so disgusting I couldn't eat it so it's now in the garbage and I'm not digging through the garbage over four dollars and Of course it's a time that I didn't get a receipt because usually their food is pretty decent but the way That Coleen at McHenry little Caesars talk to me was completely unacceptable. At this establishment you can get a pizza for $5 so don't expect the teens behind the counter to really give a cr*p plenty of times left waiting twice as long as asked to, all while the employees are in back complaining about management and ignoring customers actually had to yell "where the pizzas at" after waiting 10 min to be helped giving it a two because were else can you get 4 large pizzas wings a 2 liter and breadsticks for less than $40 read more
