Called in for lunch. Staff are a friendly bunch and the place is clean and fresh. We ordered burritos. Man...they were huge. We mostly enjoyed them, and they were cheap and well presented. The only problems were the rice was not fully cooked, and the burritos were served only lukewarm. The food, service and everything here were otherwise good. It's almost a four star lunch spot and, with a little work could easily move on to five stars. Loads of potential here! read more

Used to go here regularly when it first opened. I moved to the east coast for a few years and LDL was one of my first stops when I moved back to Washington and it is just as good as day one. Foods good, workers are cool, over priced, and... O my the wait. Even when you call in the order. 1st lunch it routinely takes them an hour to make lukewarm burritos. Small, brightly colored and cheery spot. The service was pleasant and helpful, despite there being a line of waiting customers. We got the shrimp salad, and a chicken taco salad. Both were excellent. Wow, awesome place! I had a taco salad with delicious smoked brisket and a poblano avocado dressing, YUM! spousal unit had a pulled pork burrito that was filled with multiple layers of extreme tastiness. They make their own salsas - the chupacabra sauce is great. Spicy but not out to maim your tastebuds. I'll have to try ghost pepper next time. My omly wish is that the salad came with a side of chips, in addition to the crushed chips atop the salad. The burrito was huge;I couldn't finishes all in one sitting, the chips were nice and flakey, the pineapples salsa was a +. We passed through the PA a few days ago and were recommended this place for a late lunch (around 2pm). I had the pork burrito, my wife had the special - shredded steak tacos I believe. The food was awesome! Of particular note to me: their pineapple salsa was amazing. I would buy a gallon of it. The small restaurant was cute, and the folks working there were very friendly. Food came out quick. I also enjoyed the local rootbeer, whose brand name I can't remember. You should absolutely visit this place for lunch! read more

Brought some friends from Arizona here last week for some grub. I ordered the shrimp sandwich again since it was so good last time. It did not disappoint, still super delicious. My friends were delighted at the food they ordered and I think I convinced one of them to move here during our meal lol . This was the first time I had the pineapple sauce and it blew us all away. Truly amazing taste. Come to think of it, those chips are the best I've ever had anywhere in the country or abroad. We visited in 2014 on a road trip and absolutely loved it..... this year over New Years we really wanted to give another lunch place a chance..... but we couldn't stop thinking about how great this place was - so we went back.... and we were not disappointed. This place is small and has a food truck with walls type feel.... a funky decor, and the great food you would expect from a food truck with lines around the block. The value for the money is outstanding - a $8-$9 burrito is more than enough for 2 meals or a meal to share. The chips and salsa are a great side. The Verde salsa and the one that is one more notch up on the spiciness were fabulous. We had the Chipotle Chicken burrito special and the Amberetta - both were very delicious. Pretty decent burritos - and friendly service. I had one of the specials with chicken and cilantro slaw. My sweetie had one with smoked brisket. Both were HUGE. We like this neat little lunch place! A wide range of gourmet style burritos and sandwiches in a punk rock concert poster/Mexican cafe setting (which is surprising and different). Made to order, a variety of salsa choices including a great Verde. Thick and hearty, no runny green poo water. The Bovine (French dip) was good, stacked with meat and the au jus perfect. Beef broth style with a bit of fat and not too salty. Definitely not powdered. The price/size is proportionate. Could have used an extra slice of cheese. They just opened doors for the morning when we arrived, our order took about 15 minutes. We are glad we stopped here rather than one of the many coffee houses for lunch! read more

Fantastic burritos! The carne asada burrito was outstanding, while it comes with a chipotle sauce (a flavor I despise), it was still amazing - and huge! I'm docking 1 star (should be a 5-star food review) because they close before anyone with a full-time job could get there for dinner, which just makes me sad, I call this small business hours, where small businesses are only open during the hours most people are at work. Unassuming food until you take a bite! Flavors 10/10! The chips taste amazing. I dont know what they do to the chips but they are so delicious and their salsa is fresh and so flavorful. The brisket meat sandwich was big and the meat had a wonderful smokiness and spiced just right, and having it served on a toasted ciabatta bun was the topping. The burritos are huge and they dont skimp on the portions. Parking can be a challenge and expect lines but so worth the wait. read more

Always good service & food at little devils. Decent sized portions (especially the burritos) and their brisket is my favorite. Brisket tacos or taco salad are always my go-to there. The new location has definitely helped the wait and the seating when it becomes crazy busy in there. They have a simple menu and great choices. They always serve their plates with a side of Juanita's (yum) tortilla chips and your choice of homemade salsa. I always get the pineapple and chupa salsa. Wholly smokes, is this place great. Tacos, burritos, chili, salsas, salads, sandwiches all featuring their smoked meats (brisket, pork, chicken) and a large variety of salsa. You gotta try the MOAB (mother of all burritos). Although my teenage son can down it in one sitting, a lot of people can't . Besides the MOAB, I would recommend the tacos, order one of each (pork, beef, chicken). There is vegetarian options available as well. Big bang for the buck here. Sodas, beer, water, available too. It's a small place with limited interior seating, but on a nice day, you can enjoy the outdoor seating (tables/umbrellas). read more

I'm a huge burrito fanatic, so I sought this place out. The burrito is definitely a Major League Burrito. Big-time taste and size. The atmosphere of the Lunchbox was kind of cool-lots of sweet a$$ posters on the wall and the staff seemed to carry that same character as they worked. I don't really care about this, but some people might: the cooking staff is like 5-10 feet away from customers, so the normal bickering and talking $hit that goes on in a normal kitchen can't really fly here.
