Walked over after dropping my car off at Carmax and grabbed a coffee and croissant which were both terrific! Decided to order lunch as the menu looked delicious and got a kale salad with chicken and a cubano. Both were so good! Will 100% be back. Place was clean, staff were very polite. read more

I've come here about 5 times now. I always like to visit a cafe or restaurant a few times before reviewing to give them a chance. This place deserves 5 stars-- not just for the delicious food and coffee, but also for the amazing, friendly service I get each time. I always get a smile and really appreciate it. I recommend the turkey sandwich with garlic aioli! The ingredients used are high quality. I could tell the turkey didn't have any preservatives or filler water/juices. This is my go-to spot now when I'm in Burbank/Glendale. read more

UPDATE: They have implemented a new system where they are asking for names during the busier times & ive not had any issues! As always the food is great & the service is back up to where it used to be! This place is wonderful, the food is excellent & I've been coming here for years! There used to be an issue with food coming out where other people would take it but the staff is good about letting people know if it's theirs or not...until recently. With that being said they hired a new person (who's been there for months now) and they have consistently messed up my drink order when I've gone. This morning I had been waiting 20 minutes for my food when someone who ordered just moments ago took my food before I walked up to get it, this same new person shrugged it off & didn't tell them that it wasn't their food. I had to wait even longer for my food. I'm still rating this place high because they're still amazing but please I implore the owner to better train this person, I wouldn't have normally said anything but this person has consistently messed up every time I've gone over the last month or two! read more

It looks cute from a distance but when you get right up there, you're ordering (trying to order) on a super busy street (Flower), with tons of car and truck noise and a pretty substantial waiting line of people wearing credentials around their necks from Disney and other show-biz jammy-jams. The guy who took our order displayed next to no personality----what a surprise----wasn't at all helpful when we asked about vegan stuff (bored, one-word answers) and produced a couple of americanos that were absolutely okay but not amazing because they were a little watery and didn't deliver an incredible coffee *YABBA DABBA DOOOOO* which is hard to describe but you know it when you experience it. The sort-of-enclosed sitting area also looked *meh* compared to how I envisioned it. I'm sure you can plunk down with your drink and cream puff in there while you inhale a combination of car exhaust and diesel particles, but we just walked back to the car and absquatulated. I have no idea how anyone would ever park around here (we got ultra lucky on that count) but it looks like the greater part of their action is walk-ups. read more

This is the best place for breakfast/lunch in the area, hands down! Prices are good and quality is superb. The chicken salad sandwich is to die for - the pastries: divine. The date, coconut, oatmeal cookie is making me drool just thinking about it. Also love the breakfast sandwiches (spinach, mushroom, and eggs - oh my!). The iced chai latte is the best in town. Haven't had anything here I don't like, the service is great, AND the outdoor space is cute. Only bad news is they close early (2:30pm) and aren't open weekends, but those lovely people deserve it! This is truly a gem of Burbank. I just happened across this place on my drive to work the other day. It's tucked into the corner of an industrial area with not much foot traffic. They have an outdoor window to order at and a cute, shaded outdoor patio to relax at. I tried their quiche and matcha latte and both were delicious. read more

This is a great spot for a mid-day or even first thing in the morning coffee run. I've been going to Little Ground pretty regularly so I have a couple favorites -- their vanilla latte is pretty good, almost comparable to coffee commissary. I do admit I prefer their cold drinks over hot drinks because the coffee is a little washed out in their hot beverages and almost too milky. With cold drinks, that's my preference, to have it be on the milkier side. In terms of food, their blueberry muffin is DIVINE. It has this caramelized crust on the outside and is super gooey on the inside, you don't even need to ask for it warmed up. Hours are a little odd here, as expected with food/coffee places near business areas. So be sure to check hours prior to going. In terms of parking, it's kind of hard but I walk as I work nearby. Definitely worth the brief struggle of finding parking though! read more

I work across the street so this cafe was a wonderfully convenient and much needed addition in the area. Everything is fresh, reasonably priced and made with healthy ingredients and the customer service is great. They're really nice over there. Really love me some Little Ground. We moved to the Sonora/Riverside area of Glendale a few years ago, and had long hoped a great brunch cafe / coffee shop would open up in our neighborhood. Enter, Little Ground. Their baked goods are absolutely delicious; as good as anything I've had at Proof or Creme Caramel. The breakfast burritos and sandwiches are spot on, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff are incredibly friendly. This is a 5-star joint. The ONLY knock I have on Little Ground is the coffee. It could be great, but it's just not there yet. They have a beautiful La Marzocca Linea 2, but currently only offer standard drinks made with Stumptown blends. It's the coffee equivalent of driving 15 mph with a F12 Berlinetta! Stumptown is Stumptown. It's serviceable, I suppose. Let's get some great single origins from local roasters like Copa Vida, Portola, Rose Park, Cognoscenti Not to mention, they don't offer any manually brewed / pour-over options as of right now. My friend brought a pumpkin pie from Little Ground to our Thanksgiving dinner and WOW! It was - no joke - the best pumpkin pie I've ever had, including homemade. The filling was spiced perfectly and was almost fluffy, and the crust was absolutely delicious. I will definitely get a pumpkin pie from Little Ground every Thanksgiving from here on out! Oh my god, what a cute little cafe. We were running late to get breakfast on campus so we decided to stop here and it was such a little delight! The window counter is reminiscent of an ice cream stand with a nice patio area for seating. It's a neat use of the space so that you don't have to suffer with the sounds of the street but is still open enough to let light and air in. We got the breakfast burrito and iced latte. The breakfast burrito really hit the spot for $6. Appropriately thicc and crunchy, it was a pleasant way to start the day! I'd recommend it if you're in the area! This place is walking distance from my work which is perfect for lunch, there is not many walking distance places around. There is an outdoor area, which I love, it is shaded and hip. So far the items on the menu that I've tried has been delicious. My favorite is the breakfast burrito with pulled pork, mmh, packed with flavors. A rush of contentment as each bite bursts with different flavors. They serve breakfast items during lunch! I do wish that they have a more extensive lunch menu though so that I could keep coming back and try different things. read more

Little ground is definitely a diamond in the rough. What use to be a greasy lunch corner shack is now a clean , modern and delicious coffee cafe. Just a few blocks from where I work, I often end up walking the trek of a few blocks to come to this refreshing corner Oasis. Though it was glendales best kept secret, it now requires a few more minutes to put in your order because of the longer lines. Come people, keep this place a secret!! Most think that this is a place to grab your favorite coffee beverage, but I, in fact, come for the food. I haven't had anything other than the chicken Cesar salad and boy do they know how to make a chicken Cesar salad!!! The portion is bigger than usual, the chicken is grilled to perfection and they give you a nice size portion of it. They also cut up pieces of bread to adorn your salad and it's the perfect topping to complement this deliciousness. Just the right amount of carbs to make you feel that you are not over indulging. I am not too much of a coffee drinker, but I did order an iced coffee one low energy day and WOW, it was strong, but yet very refreshing. They do have a nice selection of teas some of which I like to drink cold or "iced" and they have a nice spread of pastries. My friend and I were looking for a new cafe spot to check out and wow! We were blown away from how cute this place was. I ordered a simple English breakfast tea with monkey bread (it was amazing!!) and my friend ordered a hot chocolate, the barista surprised us with pretty latte art. There's only an outdoor patio but it works for them being a "hole-in-the-wall" cafe. Its a great place for a small group or a simple coffee meet up. Will definitely be coming back! read more

So I've tried many coffee shops in the Glendale and Burbank area in search of the perfect one. This one right here, is the perfect one. Their coffee is incredible and their food was delicious! I had an iced mocha with oat milk (pretty hard to find at most coffee shops but tastes amazing!) and a roasted red pepper breakfast burrito. It was all so delicious!! The seating is all out doors but it's in a nice, tucked away, shaded area that brings such a cool ambiance! I will definitely be returning here again!! read more

First impression is ok. But not totally impressed. If you know me, I'm a drip guy more than an expresso guy. Their brew is Stomptown and I am officially convinced that I am not a fan of Stomtown coffees. It's not bad but not great. Often times I am stuck in meetings and have to stay at the cafe a little longer than I'd like, but they never make me feel unaccepted or rushed me out. Let me start by saying that it is extremely hard now a days to find a coffee shop that doesn't have music blasting to the point where you can't hear even your own thoughts. Luckily for me this coffee shop was not one of those places! They had music but it was in the background so I was able to hold a conversation with my mom and also study for about 2 hours. Now let's talk about the food, AMAZING! Specifically the Bacon Quiche. It was the perfect consistency and it melted so perfectly in my mouth. It came with a side salad of mixed greens with a delicious dressing. I also got the Breakfast Sandwich with the chicken sausage, it was so good! My latte was as expected and the hot chocolate was the right amount of sweet. It's located on an odd street in Glendale in between factories and I think studios for art departments or something of the sort. Not too many people stay to hangout but their window is constantly busy with customers coming to buy baked goods or espresso drinks. It is only outdoor seating but it is well covered so you don't really have to worry about the sun. The prices are super affordable also.K I'm done I LOVE THIS PLACE. read more

When I'm craving coffee that isn't burnt like Starbucks, Little Ground is the first place that comes to mind. This venue is conveniently located right across the street from my work so I enjoy taking a stroll there to get my stumptown cold brew fix. It goes without mentioning that the real star of the show here is their DELICIOUS selection of unique pastries which are freshly handmade every morning by the lovely hard-working staff. I come here almost twice a week and I am not ashamed that I would visit more if I could! Highly recommend this joint for a quick coffee run and some sweet satisfaction during your laborious work week. P.S. Their pastries are half off the regular price at 3:00 p.m. ;) read more
