Came in after many years. Still a solid restaurant with Italian food. I ordered the appetizer sampler and the shrimp arrabbiata. The sampler was good. All warm and fresh. I could not decide between the shrimp or the chicken Murphy because both had jalapeños. I had a bite of the chicken Murphy. The shrimp pasta was good don't get me wrong, but the chicken Murphy had way more going on spice and flavor wise. The shrimp dish had a good tomato sauce , but I was looking for a kick. I love spicy foods. I had a bite of the pepperoni pizza and it was good! Don't tell my little I ate a slice lol I had the tiramisu. I had three bites before my family demolished it. Hidden gem alert this amazing Italian restaurant has been in business for 26 years and this is my first time coming here. I know exactly why they've been in business for so long. The food is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is clean and very inviting. It's like a little tour in Italy I started off with a glass of Chardonnay had some stuffed mushrooms which were really delicious. I will let you know that the filling is more of like a stuffing a garlic stuffing, but really delicious. Our waitress was so sweet. I'm sad. I didn't get her name but when you come here you will be welcomed on the spot and the pasta is so fresh. Everything's freshly made homemade because the owner takes true pride in his work! For entrées, my friend had the chicken Murphy which comes in a pink sauce has onions, jalapeños chicken and spaghetti that's his absolute favorite when he comes to little Italy that's what he gets. He swears by it. It's a 10 out of 10! I had the Shrimp Calabrese it comes with a pink sauce. It has shrimp, mushrooms, artichokes, and red bell pepper with spaghetti pasta I was so impressed by this meal I couldn't stop eating. The flavor was out of this world. It was a 10 out of 10. The ambiance is great! The pizza was the best! Although a little pricey for a medium to large meat lovers pizza at $21.00. Some of their pasta dishes are a little too saucy. This is a place that may often be overlooked but shouldn't be. Very Mediterranean Italian vibe with so many seafood choices besides other pasta options you may not find in other places. I had the little Italy specialty it was chicken, veal and jumbo shrimp over linguine with a white wine garlic sauce. It was amazing. We had pizza as our starter and it was fantastic. Surprisingly really good!! I have to be honest, I went in with low expectations but it was really good! I unfortunately don't remember our servers name but she was great and super sweet. Overall, a good place to catch up with family and quiet enough for easy conversation. As for food, I only got a Caesar salad, but I had some of my mother in laws chicken parm and my husbands spaghetti and meat sauce and all of it was really good!! I decided to come out of Yelp retirement to do a public service by sharing how NASTY my dinner was this evening. I'm actually offended y'all thought it was okay to not only serve us this food but charge as much as you do for it. We ordered Chicken Picatta, some veal dish and calamari (not pictured). How you get a pasta dish to be soggy, squishy, oily and BLAND all at the same time is beyond me. Calamari was also bland but over cooked. The only part of this meal that was edible were the bread rolls. Immediately after these photos were taken, I threw my food out and had a bowl of cereal for dinner instead. When I lived in Killeen (2006-2011), Little Italy was our families go to restaurant. It's not fancy in terms of setting, but a friendly environment and the service is wonderful. It is as good as any Italian place in Phoenix. I really like pizzeria Bianco but I do not consider to be Italian food. This was some of the best noodles and breads in their dishes that I've ever had. This is as good as my grandmothers cooking and she was raised in Trieste Italy. The service was good. The selection was very authentic and quite yummy. You ever get those days where you just want a good tiramisu and a cup of coffee? We'll today was that day. Hubby and I decided to get just desserts today with a nice cup of coffee. We ordered two tiramisu's, chocolate mousse cake, and a cheesecake! Our server was so kind and friendly as well. As for the ambiance it was little, cozy, and family friendly. I went to a local Italian establishment last night to eat with my colleagues. Instead of being charged $43.80. I was charged $431.80. When I brought it to their attention, the lady apologized and went to fix the issue. The owner comes over and snatches the keypads from her in an attempt to refund me $390. Well he charged me another $390. Now, being this is a lot of money and yet another mistake I became irritated. Then the owner and staff tried to paint me like an angry black woman. They finally call over another guy to assist and CC VOID the $390. I said you still owe me money because you charged me $431.80. So, after going back and forth with them they finally refunded my $388. I understand people make mistakes, however to get an attitude when I asked for my money back which is over $800 unacceptable. Then they went and talked about me to my teammate and his wife. Again painting me like I was the one in the wrong for getting upset. However, I stated to them that if I had not paid they would have quickly called the cops. Yet, you over charge me and refuse to give me my money back...Little Italy count your days. The Manhattan Clam Chowder was excellent. Salads were great also. Meat Lasagna was good kind of light on the meat in the sauce. I had the spaghetti with meatball and sauce. The sauce was almost like tomato soup with diced tomatoes. I make a better sauce from scratch than they do. The Alfredo sauce was just as runny on another meal at the table.
