YaYah! this place is freaking awesome I have been eating here for a while I don't know why I haven't yelped them before! the food is great the customer service is good. I have eaten inside which is small but very down to earth inside the tables it has local business cards for advertisement which is great I like keeping the business for the local vendors. I have also had it for take out and the food is just as good and is prepared in a timely manner so it is good even when you only have a 30min lunch break :D. I give it two thumbs up! If you have never eaten there you have to try it at least once you will not be sorry. I feel like it is decently priced for the amount of food you get and the quality. I always look forward to the one day a week I am in Pittsburg when I can go to Little J's. I'm a huge fan of their Tri-tip sandwich with horseradish. Comes with fries and a drink, making it the perfect sized lunch for me. The owner is always there and is very involved, and the staff is super friendly and always asks how everything was and is always very helpful. They've got a TV with NFL network playing all the time, which gives me a chance to get the highlights from the weekend's big games. Highly recommended! read more

Honestly I hate to write this review. I've lived down the street for the past 4 years and have Been coming here on a regular basis and up until my last 2 visits I would of giving this place a solid 4 stars . Food is good and I love how "Pittsburg" this place is I will always go out of my way to support small business but my last 2 visits have been a big let down and I honestly believe its the cooks! usually when I go it's been a bald African American man cooking and have loved the food every time but last 2 times it was different cooks and the food has been horrible. first time around my girlfriend had the chicken tenders and they were burnt and dry as well as her and my fries. Today we had the the Cajun chicken sandwich and Hamburger both our buns were super Soggy and greasy and our fries again were burnt and just over all not what we are used to getting from this place taste wise! I will still continue to come here just because up to this point I had never been disappointed but I'm one more bad experience away from never coming back. I will even delete this review if things get back to normal and the food is good again. read more

Came here for lunch, staff was friendly. Food took a minute to be ready but I thought that was fine cause means its freshly made. I paid 8 dollars for a chicken sandwich that simply is so bland. First time and last time here. Placed an order by phone told 15 minutes and it took over 30 minutes. The hamburgers was good but not great and not worth the 30 minute wait. Way too much french fries. First want to say their burgers are excellent. Go to burger western burger. Getting a 1 because their hours are never correct . They close when ever they feel like it. Tonight we called at 7 pm for a to go order. Said they weren't taking orders any longer. They are suppose to close at 8 pm. So we rushed down minutes away. There was no one in there the staff was cleaning up. 720 pm sign shows closed. I opened the door ask your closing at 730 tonight?? She asks the cook if they were still serving there are 4 of us, he nods begrudgingly yes. Throws the frozen fries on counter. We are watching outside to make sure they aren't spitting in our food. Just moved to the area my family and I love this place. I like the decor, great food. Service was good, meet the owning I believe on our way out. He held door open for us and had a conversation with us. Very nice guy great customer service. The only thing I'd say was around trash can was dirty from things being thrown away. read more

So good. I went to 7-11 and I smell the food and boy there buger are off the chaine. This is one place I will be coming very often.

This place is pretty good however it leaves you feeling smarmy. It is basically filthy. The owner uses his bare hands to prepare the food among other things. The decor is most unappealing - like being in a dirty, ill-decorated man cave. I asked for a rare sandwich and I got well-done. No pink whatsoever in the tri-tip as I ordered. read more
