little j's most definitely reps pittsburg. once you step inside, you will notice the merch, gear and things retaining to the city of pittsburg. menus are found on big screens, and they serve various casual foods i ordered the spicy garlic chorizo sandwich, which was amazing! the seasoning was fasho garlic and the chicken was juicy, served on a toasty bread! little j's serving it big

Always been wanting to try this spot since it's next door to my daughter's dance practice. We've always got their cheese fries and add bacon for a quick snack. Fyi - the large is a huge portion so suggest just getting a small unless you're sharing. However, one night we decided to order their tri-tip sandwich and tri-tip dinner. I was a bit hesitant as I read the reviews and many said that the tri tip was dry and/or salty. But decided to give this place a try and find out for myself. Unfortunately, the tri tip was way too salty. My husband and I split it and we couldn't really eat it between us since it was so salty. Granted it was big portions, it just lacked in flavor. The only thing I liked about it was the mushrooms and onions. Also, the hush puppies were too hard and lacked flavor as well. I really wanted to like this place but figured I'll just stick to the cheese fries. Maybe I might give it another try and test out their burgers.

The reviews are right, these are better than the other commercial places. This is how burgers use to be made, not microwaved fast foods. Service here is great too. This quaint location is next to 7-11 off of Loveridge. There is a free parking lot here too. Definitely coming back here in the future.

Burger was so flavorful and the fry's were great as well. The basket came with fry sauce which was super good. They were barbecuing tri tip out front so that will be a must try next time. Very clean and friendly! Will be back! Even the sodas were displayed well!

We've driven by this place many times and have always mentioned wanting to try it out. We were coming home to Concord from Antioch and was about to pass Little Js, so we finally stopped. We had a hankering for burgers, more so from a mom n pop joint. We were greeted right away by the sweetest lady at the counter! We looked over the menu and ordered some burgers, fries and canned sodas. The entire interaction was so friendly and pleasant. We opted to eat inside and waited patiently for our food. The inside was very clean and colorful, several tables to choose from . Lots of neat vintage advertisements and photos from the area hung on the walls, tv on with a game show playing. Food came out fresh and hot, same excellent friendly service from the lady. Even brought to our table. Burgers were bomb! It was a great experience. We mentioned to ourselves a few times after we left about how excellent the service and food was. The lady really went the extra mile to care about customers and made us feel so appreciated! We will absolutely be back and highly recommend this local business.

YaYah! this place is freaking awesome I have been eating here for a while I don't know why I haven't yelped them before! the food is great the customer service is good. I have eaten inside which is small but very down to earth inside the tables it has local business cards for advertisement which is great I like keeping the business for the local vendors. I have also had it for take out and the food is just as good and is prepared in a timely manner so it is good even when you only have a 30min lunch break :D. I give it two thumbs up! If you have never eaten there you have to try it at least once you will not be sorry. I feel like it is decently priced for the amount of food you get and the quality. Came here for lunch, staff was friendly. Food took a minute to be ready but I thought that was fine cause means its freshly made. I paid 8 dollars for a chicken sandwich that simply is so bland. No a single sprinkle of salt and pepper so disappointing. Sandwich was just bland. Dont think I'll be returning anytime soon. read more

First time and last time here. Placed an order by phone told 15 minutes and it took over 30 minutes. The hamburgers was good but not great and not worth the 30 minute wait. Way too much french fries. Ended up throwing away half of them. Well not be going back and disappointed since the person taking my call I had to repeat myself at least 3 times. read more

First want to say their burgers are excellent. Go to burger western burger. Getting a 1 because their hours are never correct . They close when ever they feel like it. Tonight we called at 7 pm for a to go order. Said they weren't taking orders any longer. They are suppose to close at 8 pm. So we rushed down minutes away. There was no one in there the staff was cleaning up. 720 pm sign shows closed. I opened the door ask your closing at 730 tonight?? She asks the cook if they were still serving there are 4 of us, he nods begrudgingly yes. Throws the frozen fries on counter. We are watching outside to make sure they aren't spitting in our food. Just moved to the area my family and I love this place. I like the decor, great food. Service was good, meet the owning I believe on our way out. Delicious! The burgers were seasoned to perfection. The garlic fries were just fabulous. The only downfall was they didn't have milkshakes, but the rest of the food was so yummy the I really didn't mind. We are definitely going back again. This is our new burger place! Hey, I'm writing this early before I even get my food. Just a clean place, small but you can just tell they gonna have some fire food. Me and my GFs took a trip here (upon a close friends recommendation) and wasn't disappointed. Aaron (the owner) hooked it up with a nice Tri Tip order with sides (fries are the BOMB). The daughter had the shrimp Alfredo. Different story. It was absolutely amazing! They gave 6 fairly descent size shrimp which was cooked well. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the Alfredo sauce was YUMMY! I will definitely go back and order the Alfredo pasta next time. Overall recommend this place. It's a local business that I would say is above average.

AC isn't strong at all when we dine in so it's a little stuffy. But I do remember the previous restaurant at the same spot has the exact same issue. I can't wait to try other items on the menu! I found out they also cater and the prices are reasonable. I seen a few customers come in and picked up trays of food to go. First time coming here and it won't be the last. As I stepped in around 1pm yesterday, a manager named Angelica, all round bubbly personality immediately took my order. I'd then noticed the owner picking his nose off the corner just as I pulled my gaze away from the menu. After witnessing such a heinous scene, I couldn't get out of there quick enough. When canceling my order, I could sense the manager Angelica, cared about my overall concern. Angelica the apologized profusely for the owner's actions. But, fortuitously, I will never spend money on this establishment for the rest of my life, and I hope everyone who reads my remark considers this. I lived around Pittsburg CA for sometime now, and I've always eaten here for their great burgers and flavorful French fires. But there had been a recent shift in management that I can say elevated this place overall atmosphere to warm and welcoming. Everyone in this joint had real smiles on there faces just from her infectious and captivating attitude alone.
