What a lovely find. This quaint, cute, entrepreneurial kitchen has evolved quite the reputation since 2003. The customers are respectful, happy, and hungry. The French dip had fresh sourdough which reminds you of those clam chowder bread bowls on pier39. The fries aren't in n out nor McDonalds, but something much more nostalgic...the ones you get at a diner in the 50s. Of course the sandwich was delicious. Food is absolute trash! I know damn well people aren't actually giving this high reviews. Ordered the tri-tip plate, it came with dry ass meat, onions & mushrooms, with "garlic bread." Literally $20 and I had to put everything on myself. The mushrooms & onions, ALSO the meat had no flavor. Also, ordered the chili cheese dog. Looks like it came from 711. The hotdog was so damn salty I couldn't take more than one bite. How do you have a salty hotdog? Got mashed potatoes as a side.. tasted like freeze dried potatoes and miracle whip! I student teach at Hillview Junior HS a few blocks away, and my mentor told me to come here and try this place out if I didn't want Nations. So I did! Food - DELICIOUS! The burgers are so tasty and the fries are delicious too. It's a great quick meal to eat during my lunch time at school. They also have Tritip and French Dip sandwiches which I haven't tried but hear they are very good! Service - Super friendly and very fast. I call and order, take a 5 min drive to the restaurant and it's always ready to go! Environment - Located at the corner of a little tiny plaza-ish area. Again Little J's can't deliver its own menu items. I figured 3 time would be the charm after the last two failures by Little J's. My policy is first time my fault for choosing a business, second time their fault and usually no third opportunity for them but visiting family wanted them. So first their full menu is not available on any of the delivery sites i.e. doordash etc. Second early Friday evening and their inventory is dismal, no bacon, no hot links, no polish, no hush puppies, only enough O Rings for one order (8 of us). Thirdly they forgot one of our entries and the food was again mediocre. Very disappointed to say the least. This is the absolute last time we give them our business. read more

Tried Little Js for the first time. I ordered the Cajun spicy chicken sandwich with no extra salt added, and the wife ordered the BLT. Food looks great but tasted really mediocre. Both the Cajun spicy sandwich and BLT were salty to a point we struggled to eat. I ended up ditching the chicken from my sandwich and ate the bread. Not sure how a BLT can be salty when the bacon should have been balanced out with the bread lettuce and tomatoes. read more

The food is GREAT. Seriously enjoy eating the last couple times I have visited little Js. The problem lies in that for one, my sandwich fry and drink is 17 dollars personally I think that is outrageous, but I'm not a business man so who knows. Also, of the times I have visited the only time I received good service was from the owner himself, I feel as though I am getting a sandwich from my little brother when I come to the counter and cashier is on the phone and doesn't make eye contact and can't manage to get me more than one small cup of fry sauce. All in all I think the shop has great potential and I hope to see it flourish. I heard about Little J's from Yelp. With nearly a perfect rating, I had to try the Tri-tip that locals call the best around. As soon as I mentioned it to my coworker, he wanted one as well. I arrived and ordered two tri-tip basket combos, which come with fries and a drink. The food came out within ten minutes and was hot and ready to go. The service was helpful, very friendly and you could tell that they are hard working people that care about the food they make. Let me tell you, I barely made it back to work on the drive because the smell of the hot fries and tri-tip were driving me crazy. I was so hungry! And it didn't stop there, once I got the food back, everyone wanted to know where we got lunch from. Little J's was awesome. My sandwich was fantastic. The meat was thinly sliced and tender, the roll was not too big for the sandwich. It was a perfectly proportioned meal. The fries were so crispy and good, I ate them with my BBQ sauce. Honestly the food is good and the service feels like home. Everyone's nice and if you're still adapting to single mom life like me they're really supportive and understanding. My daughter loved their French fries and her little bestie loved their corn dog. I enjoyed their chicken sandwich and their prices some of the lowest prices I've seen in a while. Had a moment this past week, and let me tell you... it was worth it. Very good. The food was amazing. It was fresh, hot, and flavorful! Called my order in and it was hot and ready when i got there, the lady behind the counter was so sweet and helpful and gave me a ton of ranches on the side (they have bomb ass ranch too, it has to be homemade i'm obsessed).
