Old, hard dry Egg Roll
Phoenix C.

I was in the area and decided to stop for lunch. The person behind the desk wasn't very welcoming and mostly spoke to the customer that was already seated. I ordered the sesame chicken combination platter that came with an egg roll OR drink. I had to pay extra for the drink. As you can see, the egg roll was burned and old. I was there waiting 15 mins in person, they could have at least dropped a fresh one. The sesame chicken is hard and there is very little sauce. I also order the crab Rangoon which was not very good and a small portion for the price. I will not be ordering from here again.

We've ordered a number of times now and let me tell you, This is THE PLACE to get your Asian cuisine fix satisfied. There's so many options on the menu, every item we've ordered has been fantastic! Their soups are exquisite and incredibly tasty. I love the added touch of putting egg into the vegetable fried rice, reminds me so much of downtown Manhattan eateries we loved to go to. It's never a dull item from the menu. The only gripe is the crab Rangoon...a bit on the tiny side but incredibly tasty

Very tasty food but the restaurant needs better ventilation. I reeked of greasy Chinese restaurant after I left.

Love this place, the best delivery in Mamaroneck. All the other Asian places on Mamaroneck Ave are a distant second.

They just lost a customer for life! Food took no joke 2 hours to arrive, and the delivery driver was rude and yelling at me in chinese.

Have been ordering here for years. I'm a big fan. The owners are very nice (esp when it's not crazy with orders and deliveries)

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name. I had to rush eat so that the food would not get cold, but I failed. Maybe if I had a shovel, I could pack it in quickly. With a packed mouth, I desire to. Inspire more, Yelp more!

I'm always excited to hear about a new Asian place in the area. Their menu seemed relatively standard for Thai. They're not kidding about their spice levels! Take them seriously. The green curry was ok. There were too many fillers of peppers and bamboo shoots. The Thai fried rice was pretty standard, too. I'd skip the golden triangles, but we actually really liked the wings. We'll be trying more food from this spot - probably some different dishes.

At first, I was a little concerned because the place was crowded, but they seated us right away and we didn't have reservations. They took our order almost immediately and we did not wait long for our food, which was delicious. We started with Pork Gyoza and Vietnamese Shrimp Summer Roll. For the entrees I had the Sashimi Deluxe, and the fish was very fresh. My wife had General Tso's Chicken and the chicken was extremely tender and flavorful. The decor was lovely and noise level was moderate considering they also do full blown hibachi. But I really wanna shout out the entire staff. Every single person seemed to go out of their way to be friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend and would come back again.

We started with the filet mignon lettuce wraps and the plum BBQ ribs MMMMMMM! Food was so good I'm somewhere rubbing my left nipple right now just thinking about it. For the mains, ya boy had the sesame chicken, beef fried rice, and the most elite Shirley Temple my inner child could ever dream of. Mama Love got the fried snapper, lil bro absolutely annihilated his eggplant dish. Plates was getting cleaned like rent was due. I really can't say enough good things about Red Plum. Service was good ,t's usually AMAZING, but I get it, it was Mother's Day and they was getting smoked. Still, the ambiance and vibes were stellar. Real cozy, real cool, low lighting, good energy... the type of spot you pull up to for a date, family dinner, or to fake having your life together for two hours.

The soup dumplings were definitely the highlight. They make the dumplings right in the restaurant and you can watch them being made. The dumplings were flavorful and full of soup, and my son especially loved them. Six dumplings ended up being a good amount for us. The vinegar came in a dropper which seems ingenious - much easier than dipping. The chicken and broccoli was also very tasty. The chicken was soft and nicely velveted, and the portions were generous. The mapo tofu was okay -- a little saltier than expected -- but still good when eaten with the rice. The brown rice itself was slightly on the hard side. Service was very good. Our server, a young man, was attentive without being overbearing, which we appreciated. One thing to note: parking can be tricky since it's all street parking and there are a lot of nearby shops. We happened to come on a holiday around 3 pm, so parking was easy for us. Overall, good food, large portions, and friendly service. We'd come back again.
