We have eaten here twice and both times we walked away with happy bellies and some new favorites. For our most recent visit, we ordered a sausage topped pan-style pizza along with their garlic cheesy bread. The staff working the counter were VERY friendly and welcoming when we came to pick up - very appreciated. Inside, it's small and there isn't a place to dine in, so you'll be doing take out here. Parking is on the street out front and seems to be available each time I roll by. The order took about 25 minutes to get ready and was available as promised when I picked up. The pizza was really buttery, soft, and just what you'd want from a deeper style pizza. The garlic cheese bread may have been the star of this order though. It was nice and garlicy, buttery, and cheesy...the way that GARLIC CHEESE BREAD should be :) We will be back!

A lot of Italian bakeries in the NYC area back in the day would have a sheet of tomato pie with squares available for customers to buy to go along with their canoli, biscotti, or sfogliatelle. DiLauro's has captured that memory & that flavor. So surprisingly good, mainly because their sauce is the sauce of the tomato gods; words alone cannot describe how ridiculously good it is. On this visit I picked up a sausage slice, pepperoni slice and a pepperoni calzone (Luna's are one of a kind). They were all so very delicious and priced perfectly. 2 slices, 1 calzone and 2 drinks for a total of $14. The service here has always been spectacular! Their meatballs have bread crumbs, so we subbed in their over roasted chicken for the meatballs. Their cauliflower crust is also incredibly thin and slightly cheesy.
