My fiancé, who is born and raised in Brooklyn, and swore by Brooklyn pizzas his entire life, ordered the Margherita Pizza from DiMatteo's tonight. After the first bite, he said it was the best pizza he's ever had. And I agree! The pizza was delivered piping hot (even though we are about 6 miles away) with fresh ingredients (tomatoes, basil, etc.) with just the right amount of sauce and cheese, with thin, perfectly crispy crust that you don't even want to leave any of them uneaten. We weren't planning to have a big dinner but ended up finishing the entire pie. We are already planning to order some pizza again tomorrow when his parents come visit from out of town. They have great pizza & amazing wings! Pizza was cooked to perfection and they're wings are always crispy.. this place is pretty good! menu wise they have a few options for everyone. they have a gluten free pie i saw on there menu. vegan option wise they have salads and a veggie wrap. the veggie wrap is pretty good. i've never tried one of there salads tho. the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is just because they don't have many vegan options. as well as one time i got the wrap i found a piece of chicken in the container (it wasn't in my food but it was right next to my wrap). i didn't call because i didn't want a problem but that really did gross me out. but my coworkers come here almost every day and they say there food is amazing. they always get there specials of the day and there pizza and they say it's amazing always! there not too pricy as well which is great. definitely recommend trying!! hopefully they get more vegan options soon :) read more

Unfortunately this review is not a good one, the 2 stars are for quick delivery (about 30 min from time I ordered) and the lady over the phone was super nice. We ordered the margarita pizza, The pizza was under cooked and the sauce was mediocre. The crust needless to say wasn't "crusty" and was very bland. Disgusting. Accidentally ordered three dinners from this place as we were unaware they changed owners. This used to be Cuzzin's Pizza and they had quality food. This place is not the same and FAR from it. Sauce is bland. Every pasta dish ordered was overcooked. Gnocchi had the consistency of glue, penne fell apart on my fork as I tried to choke it down. My son has never said "no" to spaghetti and meatballs, and even he asked to be excused from the dinner table while eating. The service was good if that means anything, but honestly, until they change the menu (or learn how to cook) no use in ordering from here. read more

Have been ordering from this place for 5 years, but will NEVER order here from again. We had friends over this evening and ordered two heroes, only to find that the sandwiches were completely empty with little to none meat at all. After calling to ask if we can have new sandwiches sent (since we assumed that it must have been a mistake), we spoke with a worker who couldn't have been more rude and awful - telling us "it is what it is" in a very nasty way, using profanity to boot. First time at this splace. Ordered a plain cheesesteak over the phone.No onions,peppers, mushrooms etc. Just a plain cheesteak. They charge extra for those things. Charging extra for onions? Anyway,I get out to the car, open up the styrofoam box, no it wasn't wrapped up in foil and I got a very skimpy steak sandwhich without cheese.I take it back and they argue with me. They insisted this was their plain cheesesteak. I said "no, if it doesn't have cheese on it,it's just a steak sandwhich" .Unbelievably, we go back and forth about this. They finally relented and offered to make it the right way, but after working in a restaurant and seeing what the kitchen does to food that's sent back, (spit ,lots of it ) I said no. This is my favorite pizza place in Point Pleasant! It's in the perfect spot a block from the beach. If I'm in the mood to indulge I go for their Sicilian slice and a few garlic knots and I'm never disappointed. I gave this place 1 star. I ordered lunch from there today as I work down the road from this restaurant and I was not happy. My lunch was burnt on the bottom and the girl was very rude on the phone as she cut me off mid sentence. Then when the order was picked you could tell she was bothered by it.
