    Best mocha
    Stephanie S.

Do not eat at the local hotel and spend $$$ on a breakfast buffet when just a block away you can have an amazing coffee or tea (specialty or otherwise) and either a generously portioned yoghurt parfait or a delicious bagel, English muffin, or tortilla sandwich for a fraction of the price. I had the best mocha I've had in quite some time. They use Ghirardelli chocolate for it. The coffee itself was perfectly roasted and brewed; no burnt beans and nasty flavor like you get at the major chains. My friend loved her plain coffee. As we have been eating our way across the Yukon and Alaska, we opted to split an egg, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel (they have plain, blueberry, everything, cheddar and and jalapeño cheddar as choices). The bagel was perfectly toasted and soft on the inside, hint of chew like you'd get on a proper Montreal bagel (NY ones are inferior these days, sorry not sorry). The owners are hardworking veterans and currently active service members. They're running an amazing shop and we considered getting a cold sandwich for later, but weren't sure it would withstand the heat of the bus. Prices are reasonable and I'd say this is well worth the visit if in Fairbanks.

Prices were so reasonable. I got a vanilla latte and it was delicious! Located in downtown Fairbanks, convenient to walk to from nearby hotels and eateries but there's a drive thru only.

    Breakfast burrito

Disappointed, burrito was dry and way over seasoned couldn't enjoy my breakfast Coffee was good

If you're in Fairbanks, this is by far the best coffee and quick breakfast place. We tried several others and between the service and the quality, nothing beats Forget Me Not Espresso. I promise you will like it.

This is a coffee kiosk with pre packaged food. Not the cafe that it presents itself to be.

Unfortunately, when we…read morearrived, I noticed that all the crepes were being placed on the same skillet once finished. That meant egg-based crepes were potentially touching the vegan ones. I asked if one skillet could be wiped down so I could safely order, but they weren't able to accommodate that (it also wasn't very busy at the time, which is why I asked). Because of this, I decided not to risk ordering a crepe. I did end up getting the hot chocolate, which was actually excellent. It was really well balanced, rich, and chocolatey without being overly sweet. Everyone else in my group ordered crepes and loved them, so it's clear the food is good. I just wish there was a bit more flexibility around cross-contact for people ordering vegan options or with dietary restrictions. Based on my personal experience, I would lean toward a 2, but since others really enjoyed their crepes and the hot chocolate was great, it feels fair to land on a 3 for my rating.

I asked her which she preferred between 2 items and instead of giving me her opinion, she told me we're going with the 1st one because I said it 1st. She also seemed annoyed when she came to give me the hot sauce I asked for. The other server was cleaning the table next to me and asked me if I wanted the hot sauce before she put it away. I actually thought my server was going to grab it from that table to give to me, thought that'd be more efficient, but I guess she needed to walk away and do other things 1st before bringing me hot sauce. -C. F. S.: the gravy is good! One of the better ones I've had in quite a bit. The chicken fried steak was crunchy even though it was drenched in sauce. Delicious! I'm surprised that a bread item (was really hoping for a biscuit) didn't come with this dish for being almost $30. - Cajun salmon Benedict: delicious! I thought the salmon was overcooked but it was perfect! Hollandaise sauce was delicious. Not sure how it's Cajun though. The marinated tomatoes were tasty too! I would eat them on their own! Yum!

The atmosphere was chill, our server was patient, and the food....was seriously fantastic. It is one thing to have food that looks good, but when it tastes even better than it looks - that's huge! I ordered the shrimp and grits and it was the best I've ever had. Perfectly flavored and just enough spice. The honey cornbread on the side was the perfect compliment. I didn't think I'd be able to finish the entire meal but I made it happen because it was that good. My friend ordered the Dunker sandwich and it was equally delicious. The au jus was perfectly flavored and the consistency was spot on. I actually ate her leftovers for dinner, and if the leftovers were delicious, you can only imagine how it was freshly served. Very happy we came in and highly recommend!

My husband had a normal breakfast sandwich, and I had a gluten-free one. We were comparing the textures and consistencies, and they looked pretty close. There was a large selection in their Bakery case of all gluten-free items. Some dairy free Options too. One of the pastries I ended up taking back home with me to Florida and it held up. It was an almond cake. Though I had it in my bag and it completely fell apart. It was still super soft and delicious several days later! Definitely the spot to go if you are gluten-free!
