The breakfast sandwiches were hot and fresh! The service was friendly, although they mistakenly added sugar to a no-sugar coffee order. This is a drive/walk-through coffee stand with a few sandwiches - you don't go there for the ambiance. It's a much better deal than the breakfast buffet at the nearby hotel. read more

Do not eat at the local hotel and spend $$$ on a breakfast buffet when just a block away you can have an amazing coffee or tea (specialty or otherwise) and either a generously portioned yoghurt parfait or a delicious bagel, English muffin, or tortilla sandwich for a fraction of the price. I had the best mocha I've had in quite some time. They use Ghirardelli chocolate for it. The coffee itself was perfectly roasted and brewed; no burnt beans and nasty flavor like you get at the major chains. My friend loved her plain coffee. As we have been eating our way across the Yukon and Alaska, we opted to split an egg, ham and cheese breakfast sandwich on a jalapeño cheddar bagel (they have plain, blueberry, everything, cheddar and and jalapeño cheddar as choices). The bagel was perfectly toasted and soft on the inside, hint of chew like you'd get on a proper Montreal bagel (NY ones are inferior these days, sorry not sorry). The owners are hardworking veterans and currently active service members. They're running an amazing shop and we considered getting a cold sandwich for later, but weren't sure it would withstand the heat of the bus. Prices are reasonable and I'd say this is well worth the visit if in Fairbanks. read more

Ordered a breakfast burrito and lotus. Cancelled my much needed FOOD because they were out of items with no communication or substitute.

We decided to go here on our first morning in Fairbanks as the Westmark's buffet was overkill. Forget Me Not is a short walk from the hotel. The only seating is stools and a high bar, so be warned. The food and drinks were great for us. I had the breakfast sandwich with Turkey on a cheese bagel with egg and hollándaise, and piping hot, it was delicious. My hot chocolate and wife's lattes were good and my wife enjoyed her oatmeal, even if it was instant from a packet. The two of us spent less than the buffet for one. EDIT We went again this morning. This time walked the food back to the room. I had y he "Top of the Morning" bagel sandwich with egg, cheese , Turkey and pesto, and wife had breakfast bowl with hash browns, eggs, (no meat) and salsa. My hot chocolate and all the food was still quite hot when we got back to the hotel. And again it was delicious. read more

We headed to this little drive thru coffee shop for a lite breakfast and coffee instead of the expensive and poorly rated hotel buffet. We enjoyed the great smile and attitude of the server at the window. read more

We walked from one of the hotels one morning because it was so much cheaper than the hotels!! I had a bowl and it was delicious!! Everyone else had breakfast sandwiches and they were great!! A short walk from the Westmark Hotel this family run small coffee shop is true gem. The breakfast bagels are delicious (I had a Top of the Morning Bagel', as are the smoothies (mixed berry with homemade cream on top - totally yummy and exactly what I needed to wake me up). They also make a perfect cup of English Breakfast tea! I love the fact they offer military and first responder discount too. This family is lovely - we met husband, wife and the daughter. They went out of their way to open up early for us this morning as we were departing which was extremely nice, and very appreciated. read more

Warm day in Fairbanks! We cooled down and recharged with a blended mocha (has 1 shot of espresso). Almond milk instead of reg milk had a substitution fee of 75¢. Overall really impressed! Wasn't too sweet, too espresso-y, and the consistency was just right to drink through a straw read more

Forget Me Not stands out from some of the other drive thru coffee stands in Fairbanks because of the number of creative drinks on their menu. I was strongly torn between the 8oz menu, the Cafe Miel (latte with local honey), the Fairbanks Ice Fog (mighty leaf vanilla bean tea with steamed milk and local honey) and the Forget Me Not Latte, which has cinnamon, white chocolate, and orange in it. Their entire menu is helpfully posted online. I chose the Forget Me Not Latte and asked how sweet it was. The barista said he could make it more or less sweet depending on what I wanted. I asked that he make it about two-thirds of the normal sweetness. The resulting drink did not quite havs the thickness of foam as what I usually like, but was overall tasty and was not too sweet for me. It is an unusual combination of flavors but they blended seamlessly. The drink was complex but not crazy. It very much reminded me of the Russian Tea they serve at The Kobuk in Anchorage and that is common in the Homer area and on Kodiak Island (Russian Tea is a spiced tea with orange...sometimes whole spices and dried peel or instant tea and Tang). So it is basically a Russian Tea in coffee/latte form. I have to give them kudos for creating coffee drink that have genuine Alaskan themes. read more

The husband and wife shop is 4-5 min walk to the Westmark hotel. Very convenient for tourists like us. The breakfast bowls and burritos we ordered were very tasteful. The price was reasonable. They were very friendly and even give discounts to military and 1st responders. read more

I prefer a more of "rich & creamy" type of coffee flavor. Most other places I frequent get close or the people are nice and the coffee is just a bit better than average or, mostly, the coffee isn't "terrible" as I've become accustomed to in this town. I've been here 4 times now, and three times it was a nice gentleman making the coffee and this morning it was a gal. Every time I've came now the coffee has been ABOVE AVERAGE! WAY above. Like really good. They don't mess it up. It's served hot. It's not been too sweet. The rich creamy coffee flavor is the star. They don't try to make up for inferior coffee with sugary syrup. Today I noticed they make their own whipped cream which you can add for free, and they make their own snacks and they use local honey when they use honey. Neat! I can't vouch for any of their food items. I've only gotten my usual coconut cappuccino with three espresso shots and they've nailed it each time. They're batting a thousand! My other places I trust to spend money at are about 8/10 good to bad drink. I'll keep coming here when in town, and now I have a place I can consistently count on so far! Not a whole lot to say about it. We were looking for someplace that opened early for coffee and breakfast; Forget Me Not fit the bill and is a reasonable walk from the Westmark hotel. Operations are drive thru, so not much to say about decor. We had coffee, breakfast bagel sandwich, and a breakfast burrito, all of which hit the spot. Service was friendly. This is my first time in Fairbanks but I've tried a few different espresso stands and coffee places. FMN Espresso stood out above the rest due to friendliness, quickness and flavor! I love splashes of orange flavor in my coffee, so decided to take a shot on their signature latte "Forget Me Not Latte." IT IS SO DELICIOUS AND SMOOTH!! Not too sweet, which was perfect. It seems like a strange place to have a coffee stand but you should definitely give them a shot and try that latte if you're into that kind of thing :) read more

Went on a hunt today to try different food places for breakfast and lunch to see how good their food was. Forget me not is more of Forget it I will... the iced coffee was terrible... it tasted like pure sugar, no coffee taste at all...then the breakfast burrito was nasty... fake cheese was used and salsa was placed in the burrito... I would rather it on the side... I had one bite and threw it away... I don't think people here in Alaska know they are being fed bad food read more

The friendliest service and yummiest coffee in Fairbanks! Not only do they have tons of delicious choices on their drink menu, their baked goods are homemade and to die for (like, grandma's kitchen good!). I love their healthy options too! Their smoothies are made from real, frozen fruit- not a juice concoction that is full of sugar. If you're hungry, try their awesome breakfast burrito, ginger molasses cookies (face sized), or a yogurt parfait (real fruit and choice of plain or vanilla yogurt). Their Green Pura Vida smoothie is healthy but it sure doesn't taste like it! Finally, you must splurge on a Chocolate Moose Mocha, Golden Heart Latte or... ask for the secret Felix Pedro latte with whipped cream (it's homemade and vanilla laced). There's a reason they won Battle of the Stands! P.S. Their coffee is the only one in Fairbanks that doesn't irritate my stomach. Best coffee in fairbanks! To my knowledge they are the only people serving heritage coffee (roasted in Juneau) which is AMAZING. Even their drip coffee is delicious. They only use the best ingredients, and that's why their white chocolate mochas are so much better than most places. I drive out of my way to come here. Their food is also awesome!
