Great experience at Little Pub. The food and service were excellent. We ordered the tenderloin steak tips with sautéed peppers and onions, a vegetable medley, and smashed potatoes. Everything was cooked well and full of flavor. The steak tips were tender and satisfying. The Napa Salmon Flatbread was another highlight. Blackened salmon topped with shredded cabbage, pico, guacamole, cilantro-lime sour cream, and a chipotle honey drizzle. Great balance of heat, freshness, and sweetness. I've been a regular at Little Pub for a while but had an experience last night that is worth noting. The hostess was surly and unwilling to seat us at a table in the bar area. However, if she wasn't unpleasant, then we wouldn't have met the bartender, Tessa. Tessa is wonderful - welcoming, funny, helpful - all the good things. She made great recommendations - pickle wings and lemon cheesecake were outstanding! Tessa crushed it (and she makes a great drink!). I was here picking up an order yesterday and immediately picked up on the vibe that brown people are not welcomed here. I was asked by Donna to get out my seat so two Caucasian women could sit in my spot although there were several empty tables beside me, making them visibly uncomfortable. Donna was extremely rude and aggressive, completely unprovoked. She even went as far as attempting to snatch the bagged order out of my hand thinking it hadn't been confirmed, although the bartender watched me confirm the order. Unacceptable and disgusting behavior. There was a significant difference in the way she approached and dealt with me versus the other Caucasian patrons entering the restaurant. If you want a reasonably priced meal for your family that feels a lot higher in this is the place to go to. The atmosphere is great. There's a nice open fireplace in the middle of the dining room. The service is great. The food is delicious. My go-to sandwich is the Ruben and Rachel which is a combination of pastrami and corned beef on toasted rye with fries. Service is always quick and friendly and it feels a lot more expensive than it actually is and they also have a full bar to boot. Most family restaurants don't have a bar. This one does. This is a regular stop for my family and I when we're looking for a little bit higher end of a meal. Little Pub in Fairfield is one of my favorite restaurants. Everything is super delicious, especially their Thanksgiving wrap, which comes with the most delicious stuffing, gravy, and sweet potato fries. FYI, their Thanksgiving wrap is available year round! Now isn't that great! All delicious goodness in one plate to bring you in Thanksgiving spirit!! Food is more miss than hit. But the casual, fam-friendly and cozy in the colder months vibe hits the spot when you hit it right. Have not landed on a go-to entree yet. The menu is very eclectic (ie lacking any sort of theme or focus) but covers the bases for kids and random guests/tastes. Bonus: better than average cocktails. Stopped in for lunch with my husband and our friend. At first we weren't sure which side to park on but it didn't matter, the entrance is right at the corner. We were welcomed and seated immediately. All of the service was excellent and friendly. I was very happy for the menu selections that included small plates. We all had some trouble deciding among the many good choices. I as am not a good eater and I'm a bit fussy but I was happy with my vegetable spring rolls. We ordered the giant pretzel for the table. It was nice and soft and came with both a beer cheese sauce and a honey mustard. Hubby had salad with salmon and our friend had a cheese steak sandwich. I would definitely go back there. The manager on Memorial Day 2025 was ridiculously rude and inappropriate over our service dog while sitting at their outside patio, that was at 10% capacity, while the kitchen got our order totally wrong!!! This place did not remind me of any pub I've ever patronized. And I love a great pub. But that is no knock. This is a beautiful place with excellent food. I came here for the first time and I was excited to try as I've heard great things about their salmon wrap. I got the cod wrap and as a whole I give it a 3 out of 5. The cod was lukewarm while the condiments were cold so it made the wrap colder which I would've preferred against during these colder temperature weather. Also, the cod wrap has a coleslaw that was a bit slimy which didn't pair well with the soft fish texture. I ordered an espresso martini while my date ordered this lemon ginger cocktail and both of our drinks were way too strong to even consume. Now, I personally love tequila & a good drink but I couldn't enjoy my drink at all it was too heavy poured for me to even try sipping. We paid for it anyway cause we didn't want to make a big fuss but I didn't drink my drink at all. We also had a brownie cheesecake to share which was very delicious and the best thing out of the meal. Living in Stratford, we usually end up going to the Stratford location. We were in Fairfield to eat at another restaurant that ended up not being open for lunch during the week, so decided to come here. Little Pub looks exactly like that, a pub. Dark wood and dark lighting. I prefer the brighter atmosphere in the Stratford location at the sea wall. Service was quick. My son had the steak tips, which were "just ok". They were not cooked consistently. We requested medium rare and some were well done, while others were raw. My daughter and I shared the quesadilla and a steak sandwich. Both were very good. The fries were a little hard though. This is not somewhere I would head to for a great meal, but if in the area and looking for a lunch, I would stop by again. read more

Love little pub, it's beautiful, the devote is amazing, but the service from the blonde host who is rude to every single person who walks in even my 5 year old daughter, to the bartender who are as rude as u could ever imagine! The food is amazing, and even if you do take out as I used to during the week for work for $400+ orders, I would be asked to go somewhere else as they just opened and puts a lot of stress on the staff (blonde host with glasses) Have stopped going for work, and have as of today stopped going personally! Not to mention- the rewards club, they ask to put your email in, and not sure if it's the bar, management, or staff, but they are so incredibly lazy and never give you any of your rewards. Wow! First time there and we were very happy with the great food. Visiting from Florida and I always heard good about this place. The kitchen staff sent out beautiful looking plates. This was lunch but even the way that they positioned the entrees on the plate were eye catching. We relaxed in a side room as a party of 6 with a baby and there was no rush in vacating the table . Waitress was very friendly. The kitchen unfortunately ran out of French Onion soup due to a party of 12 across from us that all ordered the F.O. soup. Met for a friend on a weekday afternoon. Friendly wait staff and quick service. Beer/cider was reasonably priced. Just stopped in on Sat Sep 30 for a quick dinner before going to a show. They said it would be a 30-40 minute wait. It was more like 20-22 minutes. Cool. Seating was cozy and almost romantic. Loved the plaster and beam look. Ordered the Seoul Food Dumplings app and the Steakhouse Burger and Classic Bacon Cheeseburger. All were great. Filling, too. I've heard really good things about this spot, so definitely had to check it out. The outside and inside are really cool. The service was great and the restaurant is really clean. For our app we ordered the Seoul Food Dumplings. Which is Crispy pork and kimchi filled dumplings served with ginger pickles and a fresh cilantro-thai chili dipping sauce. We weren't too pleased with these. They did have a nice crunch and the dipping sauce was good, but the filling lacked flavor. When people order food outside of America food, it's because we enjoy the different flavors within the culture and these did not give that. Very bland. For my entree, I ordered the Buttermilk ranch crunch wrap. Which is, Fried chicken, tater tots, avocado, pico, cheddar jack, bbq sauce, and buttermilk ranch dressing. I must say this was very delicious. It was a great portion, I could only eat half and took the rest home. Very disappointing. Went for dinner on a Saturday night, service was very good. Ordered a burger and fries, Mac n cheese. Both came out fairly quick, but Fries and Mac n cheese were barely warm. Sent both back and 10 minutes later, we got our meals again. Mac n cheese was not remade, just microwaved. Fries were still barely warm, clearly not fresh. Now to the burger, the most disgusting burger I've ever had. Again, barely warm, dry and not cooked to temp. Clearly the food here is not made to order, pre cooked and then warmed up for quicker service. Will not return, ever. Your kitchen and chefs need to go back to school. read more

We used to love going to Little Pub. It's a little out of the way, so when we go we get a bit excited. There where a few things on this visit that made me decide to write We haven't been in a bit so I was a big disappointment when there were no Eggplant fries. My boys love them and it's their vegetable with dinner since the kids meals lack them. The kids meals are basic and I mean basic chips with cheese, grilled cheese and fries. No attempt in offering something health-ish. My 7 yo ended up getting a side salad which was as big as his entree. My 3yo Mac and cheese was the same size as my husbands! Which when talking about food it was either under seasoned like the Mac and cheese which neither my husband or child finished or touched. Or my New England clam chowder which was so salty it was inedible. Service and ambiance was great, but something has changed and we don't like it. This is my second time having Jamie as a server, and neither time has been pleasant. At today's visit, we were disappointed with the lack of service and attention. Jamie failed to check us on after receiving our food at all. She was at the waiters station on her phone and we kept trying to make eye contact to ask for a refill. She had to be flagged down for refills after about 20-25 minutes. We were also missing some items she had forgotten. We politely asked for refills, as she did not offer us more after seeing our empty cups. She then physically threw down our bill on the table. We felt like we were an inconvenience as opposed to a paying customer who had very few requests and asked for our things politely. read more
