I was craving for some crepes today and happily discovered this gem of a place. I love both sweet and savory crepes and was happy to find both at the Little Red Bistro. My husband had the ham and cheese crepe and I had the little Italy crepe. We both enjoyed our orders. It was a pretty good size serving portion and we had the Chai latte with our meal, which was also very yummy. We were too full to have the Strawberry, Banana, Nutella Crepe so we ordered it to go. I wanted to give this place five stars so incredibly badly, but after an hour long wait for our order of two crepes, I really cannot. Everything else about it was lovely: the interior was nicely decorated, the menu options were abundant and all looked delicious. There was really decent seating for the tiny size (about 4 tables inside, and several outside, as well as some couches outside). The worker was friendly. The food was absolutely delicious, especially the chili basil aioli on the Spicy Turkey Panini- very possibly my new favorite condiment I've ever been served. The only critique on the food itself was that is was small, especially for being decently pricey, and looking back I wouldn't consider it a full meal by any means. However, despite all of the positive things, by the time the food was ready my brother and I only had twenty minutes to eat, despite the hour and a half we had set aside for ourselves. The cafe itself wasn't busy at all - we were the only ones indoors, and only two or three parties were seated outdoors. I believe they only had one person working the back, but even so, an hour seems extreme to make the couple of sandwiches, and two crepes that were delivered to tables during our time there. Such a cute find in Pleasant Hill! We came here once we realized that Rooted closed at 1 pm (PH location). I'm so glad my friend suggested this spot as it is cute and has great coffee! The barista working there was super nice and patient. He didn't rush me at all and even brought our food and drinks out to us. I had a sugar free vanilla latte with almond milk, which was great. Friend also got a salad and panini (and coffee), which she liked. If I hadn't already eaten a few hours prior to arriving, I would have ordered food as well. They have a nice selection of salads, paninis, and crepes, in addition to the usual cafe beverages. There's a lot of seating outside (and some inside) and we had no trouble finding a spot to sit. Very nice, cozy place that lives up to its name. Had a large iced mocha after a hike in Briones & it hit the spot! It's our first time here. I ordered the crepe with Norwegian smoked salmon & avocado. The portion was a nice perfect. They provide generous portions of salmon and avocado. The most surprising flavor was the yogurt dill sauce drizzled atop the crepe. The crepe was light and fluffy. I will definitely return to try other dishes and encourage you to try them out too. The food is great-the crepes are really well done. The panini was very tasty but I agree with some other reviews that there could be more meat in them. It seems like overall there is QUALITY in the food and ingredients. Service was top notch - and the guy running it was so great with our two girls. He brought their food out first, and he cut the crepe in two. He was very thoughtful and patient with us. The only knock is the food took a while to come out, but it was the same guy at the register making the food, so I understand. In this way, it really felt like a local cafe. I've been wanting to come to this place after readying all the reviews. Today my mom and I finally had time to come and we are so glad we did! We were looking for lunch on a Sunday but didn't want to go to a place they would be overly crowded or super busy. We tried the Little Red Bistro and was pleasantly surprised it had cute outdoor and indoor seating. They had a great variety of Paninis, crepes, soups, and salads. We decided to get two crepes and sit outside. The service was fast and very friendly. I'm looking forward to coming back with friends to enjoy a coffee and hang out. First time coming here and everything was delicious! I would of given 5 stars but the portion was small but it was still really good! I liked it a lot and the lady was nice enough she split our food so we could both try We would of done that because we always share when we try new places. I also got a single raspberry mocha latte I really liked because it wasn't too sweet it was just right! My partner got a hazelnut latte which was good too. I use to have a really big sweet tooth but can't do too sweet anymore and I really liked that one too. It's a cute little spot. Next time we'll try the dessert crepes. Only reason for the one star off is it's small maybe that's how crepes are supposed to be but we got used to this other place that made them and they are pretty big. Service is usually very friendly, but i will say that if you're hungry and on a time crunch, this isn't the place to go. We have been here a few times, and each time the food is delicious, made fresh, and it never disappoints. The crepes are mouth watering, and the croissant breakfast sandwich is my go to. The s'mores crepe is my fiancée's favorite, and it has a generous amount of Nutella in it, which most places usually don't do. The lady that owns the bistro is always working unbelievably hard with making all of the food fresh, and covering the front of house. She is always so friendly and polite, and she takes great pride in the food she serves, which you can taste in the quality and presentation of the meals. A few weeks ago I wanted to try this local place after I saw they had crepes and organic food/drinks. My son and I dine-in. He ordered a sandwich and he was not impressed, it was very thin with (bagged) potatoes chips. He also ordered a strawberry smoothie, it looked like they used powder and water. He said it did not taste natural. I ordered an iced green tea and the Brie pear crepe. My crepe was delish though cold. I think they waited for the sandwich to bring all of the food together. There's nothing better than delicious crepes and a nice hot coffee on a cloudy,rainy day. This nice spot in Pleasant Hill was definitely what I needed on a Sunday morning. The crepes were delicious I ordered the champignon crepe. It had mushrooms and cheese with alfredo sauce. The sauce was very good with the mushrooms and the flavor was very tasty. My girlfriend got the strawberry, banana and nutella crepe. It was sweet and delicious and had everything you want in a sweet crepe. We always get one sweet crepe and one savory and both were tasty! The latte art was very nice and beautiful. I've never had a raspberry latte before but I really want to come back and have it again because the flavor was amazing! This is hands down one of the most adorable little bistros that I've come across! It's conveniently located right across the street from my nail salon, so I can plan to have breakfast or lunch before or after my appointments. I've read some previous reviews that have stated that the service was bad, but luckily I didn't experience any of that. In fact, the service that I received from the lady who helped me (a beautiful blonde) was excellent. There aren't many creperies in this area, so I was excited to find a place that specializes in them. Little Red offers a variety of sweet and savory crepes along with several hot and cold beverages, sandwiches and salads. I kind of fell in love with the décor. Everything was definitely "red" but the setup was more like a local coffee shop rather than a bistro which I loved. It's decked out with comfy sofa chairs and a few high chairs and with high tables. They offer free WiFi which is printed right on he receipt and they have a cute front patio which is perfect for those warm summer days. I last came for breakfast and had a chai latte and a special Norwegian smoked salmon crepe which consisted of smoked salmon, tomatoes, avocado, Parmesan, cream cheese, and topped with capers and yogurt dill sauce. Yes, it was delectable and very filling! All of the ingredients paired very well together and that smoked salmon was a hit! I don't usually eat crepes for breakfast, but I will definitely be getting them for here the next time that I do. They have a special "green eggs and hams crepe" that I've actually been dying to try. I guess I'll have to get it during my next visit. I can't forget to mention their chai latte! First off, their "large" size is sincerely HUGE and could definitely pose as a meal all on its' own. The spices in their chai are just straight dynamite! I absolutely LOVED it! I'm not sure if it's made in-house, but it definitely tasted like it was. It came with this wonderful foam on top that I've never had before, but it was oh so good. The environment was so inviting and comfortable, I almost didn't even wanna leave. There's a small TV in the lobby but this would be a fun spot for a lunch date or for a breakfast meet up with a friend. I ordered the Veronese flatbread and it took about 15-20 min to come out after ordering. Food: The green eggs and ham crepe: There was a lot of cheese and meat in this crepe. It was really filling and we weren't able to finish it all. The sauce they spread on top was a great mixture with the crepe- I'm not sure what it is, but it made the dish for me. Veronese flatbread- This took a little longer to come out, as I noted above. However, the taste of the artichoke was so yummy! I love artichokes on my pizzas, and usually it makes it watery, but it did not do that on this flatbread. It was a little crisp from the oven, so it was perfect.
