Coconut jelly (more like coconut tofu, very good though

I took my family here to celebrate my partner's mom early birthday after dinner. This bakery is splendid. We dined in to enjoy few sweet treats for her bday and ordered few drinks, which all turned out to be so delicious! We got the coconut jelly, tiramisu and durian cake pudding in a cup, jasmine milk tea, yuzu iced coffee, fruit juice tea, and cheesecake. The owner was super wonderful and offered us a candle and lighter when she found out it was for my MIL's bday. During the time we stayed, quite a few came in with pre-orders of their specialized cakes and they looked awesome! Highly recommend as service and products are above and beyond here!

Cute little bakery~! We came here for a coffee drink. We got a coconut latte and it was tasty. Not too sweet and the coconut flavor was nice! It was kind of a like a more intense coconut milk latte~! The bakery has a nice little assortment of desserts (but not like full on size cakes from what we could see). Free parking in the lot! :)

Stumbled upon this small, but cute store with drinks and cakes. Parking is easy and the store is on the corner of the building. Staff was nice and attentive. Black sesame cake - it's not too sweet, the cake is moist and light. I enjoyed it, but wished there was more black sesame flavor. There were several other flavors to choose from. Salted egg yolk cake - I was surprised at how moist and bouncy the cake is. The salted egg yolk is the center complimented the cake well. There were also different flavors that I look forward to trying.

The drink and pastry was so delicious I would of bought more if I had an empty stomach. The service was fast and attentive. The place is small yet clean it got a good size for a small gathering.

    Pork Floss Mochi Cakes

This is a nice spot with a nice people. It's not your traditional asian bakery in that the selection is fairly limited and there are no buns. They do have mille-crepe, roll cakes, cakes in a cup, tiramisu, but with asian flavors like taro, red bean, and matcha, not to mention pork floss cakes and coconut jelly, so closer to a western and taiwanese fusion? I came with my son the other day and we picked up a chocolate cake and some pork floss mochi cakes just to try. Chocolate cake (in a cup) - The chocolate cake was nice, not too sweet, good texture, enjoyable overall. It's a solid cake and good size for sharing for kids. Presentation was also nice and the different layers made it fun. Pork floss mochi cakes - These were decent. The cake was fluffy and there was a thin layer of mochi in the center, but I think the pork floss overpowered all other flavors and I would have preferred more mochi since it was thin enough to not be very noticeable. The balance between sweet and salty and the textures weren't to my taste for this one, but I can see how people would enjoy it more. Still, this is a unique spot for the area that's just getting off the ground and I'm guessing their specialty is likely going to be their actual cakes, with more asian flavors. I'm willing to come back to try a Taro cake, one of their rolls, and maybe beverage. Depending on their pricing for their custom cakes, that could be worth exploring also.

Tiny piece of salted egg cake

First time going there, asked the staff if she recommends the salted egg cakes or taro cakes. She said the most famous are the salted egg cake. So I grab one with a drink, the grape boom. The drink was okay, no real grapes. And the salted egg favor is pretty weak.

Ordering in person was also a long wait for about 40 minutes. Mines was definitely worse since I ordered on the phone ahead of time (15 minutes to get to the store), i still have to wait 40 minutes after arrival. My total wait time from order to actually receiving the order is 60 minutes. Drink was extremely delicious but not the wait. And the disorganization. From the very beginning I waited in the store I told them to put two orders together and gave them the two numbers. They put the order next to each other and by the time the number is "ready for pick-up" on the screen, we went to ask them and my drink still wasn't ready. They can't even find my ticket and had to asked me to wait another 5 minutes. After waiting for 5 more minutes, it was shift change and it was someone else calling out the number and I have to ask them again because my drink is now just sitting there on the counter. WORSE SERVICE! I rather drive to Irvine location for this tea. Never again City of Industry. Order #11095 and #35858

It's toasty oolong tea with hints of honey & caramel. TASTY! With each sip, I felt my stress and worries fade away. I smiled happily. (Important: Bring Cash. With Card, there's a 35 cents additional charge for orders under $15.) I arrived at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) on Friday (around 11:45AM). There's a competitive, busy parking lot. Fortunately, I quickly found parking. Staff is professional and polite. Staff gave good recommendations, and Staff answered all my questions. The drink took about five minutes. As mentioned, I ordered the Iron Goddess Milk Tea ($6.75 - Large - 100% Sweetness). The crisp tea taste is pronounced and brewed perfectly (not burnt). Its gentle sweetness soothes the throat, and the flavor of honey and caramel flutters about. It's DELICIOUS! On ambiance, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) is aged, worn-down but well-maintained. The location is a little small; there's about four tables. Fortunately, it feels well-ventilated and airy. In addition, Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights) also has PLENTY of utility. This spot has 34 electrical outlets!!! WOW! These outlets easily blend with the wall. There's also customer internet with password; customers must ask Staff for details. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Overall, I found unexpected happiness at Tenju Tea House (Rowland Heights). The tea is one of the best! If you love tea, this is a very easy recommendation. 4.9 out of 5!

I saw that reviews for popcorn chicken here were mostly good, so I wanted to try it out for myself…read more My order included a monk's blend ($6) with 30% sweetness and popcorn chicken ($9.65). The monk's blend was an iced Ceylon black tea with a touch of vanilla and grenadine. Although this drink is a signature menu item, I didn't really enjoy the citrusy and plum-like tartness. Most of the popcorn chicken pieces had a crispy texture, whereas others were a tad soggy. With medium spice, the chicken was very flavorful. The popcorn chicken came in an oyster pail that looked a little small, but the portion size still seemed adequate for the price. I ended up drinking the tea first before eating the chicken because the flavors did not leave a complementary aftertaste. Also, I got my tea first, but the staff forgot to give me the popcorn chicken even though they said that it's on the way. I had to follow up after waiting several minutes. One staff member was apologetic and explained that she thought my order was complete once I got my tea. The wait was unfortunately long because of the miscommunication.

They're about $6 which is more pricey than a typical tart but these are about 2x the size of a typical one. The custard is the perfect texture, with a great balance of egg/sugar/slight vanilla flavor. The caramel flavor is very mild, which I prefer. The crust is flaky and buttery and while I'm a cookie crust egg tart girl, I can appreciate a good flakey crust. I love that it isn't overly sweet. We always order one to eat fresh and others to take home. We heat the leftovers in the microwave for about 20 seconds and while the crust is obviously not as flakey as it would be fresh, the custard is still great. I haven't tried their drinks yet since the surrounding areas have such great boba options but maybe one day I'll order one here. The tiramisu tart was okay- not worth a repeat order in my opinion. Be careful when eating this so you don't inhale the cocoa powder! Get the Butter Caramel Egg Tart.

Not quite "not too sweet" type of cake that you'd love in an Asian bakery cake. It was too much matcha for my liking and not very well balanced in flavor. Go early so you can try other items. Many of their drinks also sell out for the day. I had a fruit drink they recommended (forgot the name) but nothing spectacular either.

Thirsty Waters x Street Fighter Collab! *only til June…read more30th* We came here specifically to check out the collaboration and themed set up inside the location and it was so DOPE! My wife and I have never been here but for anything Street Fighter I had to check it out. I'm a huge fan of the video game and they hit the mark on everything! There's a specific themed menu for this collab with 4 drinks. The set up is pretty much kiosk ordering, but staff will help as needed. The whole vibe set up inside was so cool! All the table are designed with the stages in the video game. The walls have a bunch of posters. There's a shelf with toys and collectibles. They have the arcade set up for free play of Street Fighter as well. We ended up ordering the Ken & Guile Drinks. Ken Drink - STRAWBERRY MANGO GREEN TEA WITH CHAMOY SWIRL Guile Drink - MANGO DREAM WITH MILITARY GREEN APPLE STAR JELLY We enjoyed them and would recommend. The Ken one was refreshing and light. The Guile one was delicious with good amount of sweetness. We might need to come back again and try the other two. Per the staff they do different collaborations each month. We had a great time hanging out in here. I loved the whole vibe. Thanks, Thirsty Waters! ( ^_^)b

They went all out with their decor, blind key chains, and drinks! Parking was easy. It's shared with the other businesses in the complex. I parked in front of Stater Bros. The bubble tea shop is spacious. They had tables, high top seating, and an arcade. We were greeted when we arrived. We placed our orders on a kiosk, mind you there is only one. I got the Guile drink which was a milk tea with mango puree and apple star jelly. I substituted the milk with oat ($0.75 extra). My husband ordered Ken which was green tea with strawberry mango and chamoy swirl. We played Street Fighter while our drinks were being prepared. After losing two rounds (lol) they were ready. I love when drinks are put in a cup with the pop tab. It's satisfying to hear the "pop" when I open the can. Guile was perfect! The mango puree was fresh and sweet. I could taste the apple in the star jelly. Although they were a bit difficult to grab on every sip, it was enjoyable still when I was able to. The oat milk paired very well. Ken was refreshing. Similar to Guile's, it was perfectly balanced. The mango did not overpower the drink and the chamoy came through. If I had to choose between the two, I would reorder Guile. The drinks were simple and that's what made them great. I would continue coming back for their themed drinks. Thanks, Thirsty Waters! See you again real soon!
