It was a little funky to find but we called and they were very helpful over the phone in giving us directions. They were during construction on the front of the fire station so not sure if that would have made it a little less complicated to find & enter there. The food was delicious and the staff were very kind and accommodating. Love that it was on the second floor of the old fire station.

This place has kind of ruined me for sandwiches. I know I should try some of the other sandwiches they have, but I am stuck on this one. This particular spot is a deli sandwich place; they do have some standout choices, but I was craving tuna, so I ordered their Pacific Blue (Tuna Melt). Loved that they toasted the buns; it was good but didn't wow me. They skimped on the cheese and didn't add the jalapeños I requested. Service was incredibly slow, but there was a huge rush-hour crowd, so I'll overlook it. All in all, the theme is cool. Loved that they had vendors and music available the day we went; it gave us an opportunity to have something to do while we waited. I did spot board games, but naturally didn't think we'd need them. The goo ball was overly buttery and definitely had peanut butter. It was good for the first couple of bites but I quickly tossed it afterward once it became too much. If a deli is your thing, give it a try. I'm sure on any other given day they'd be better at delivering a sandwich with everything.

We opened with a cocktail from the bar, which set a high bar for what followed -- unfortunately, not everything cleared it. The Deviled Eggs with Spicy Best Maid Pickles arrived looking the part, four to an order, but tasted like they'd forgotten to show up to their own party. Bland, flat, and in desperate need of seasoning, we reached for the salt shaker, which helped, but shouldn't have been necessary. The pickles, to their credit, were doing their absolute best and were genuinely the only flavor happening on that plate. Skip these. The pickles deserve better supporting cast. The Cheeseburger with Wasp Sauce on a potato bun, however, is a different story entirely. We ordered it medium, half expecting the kitchen to interpret that however it pleased, but it arrived cooked exactly as requested, which felt like a small victory worth celebrating. The Wasp Sauce is a mystery worth solving, and the house-made chips that come alongside are fresh, crisp, and dangerously snackable. Pro tip: order a side of ranch for dipping. You're welcome. We also added a side of fries, which were equally excellent. No notes. Little Red Wasp has real charm, great energy, a fun bar, and a cheeseburger worth crossing Main Street for. Just steer clear of the deviled eggs and order the chips with abandon.

My boyfriend loved the chop cheese 5/5 I was not a fan of the chicken Caesar wrap because the texture of the chicken is off. It was tough and chewy and made me lose my appetite completely. Aside from that aspect the actual taste of the Caesar salad was good. 3/5 My daughter had the same issue with the chicken sandwich, she wasn't a fan because of that. The fries are basic, some were crunchy with a soft inside and some were very hard. 2/5 I am not sure we will return as the food is basic for an expensive price. I would suggest they at least offer some type of combo option to include a side and drink.

Like any typical counter service sub place, you tell the first person your order and style of bread, then move down the line to go over any toppings or modifications, and then by the time you hit the cashier, your food is pretty much done - talk about speedy service! They have a variety of designed options in hot and cold versions and then they have a list of basics for you to build your own. I chose the hot Mediterranean which was chicken, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, feta cheese, and spicy hummus. I love all of those ingredients so it was a no brainer that I needed to pick that option. The sub was a little soggy/sloppy towards the end since the peppers and artichoke hearts typically carry a lot of liquid, so this wouldn't be a sub I'd recommend to hold onto or save as leftovers. The mess on my hands and face was totally worth it - it was a delicious sandwich and so filling I didn't get hungry for many hours afterwards! Bummed they don't have a Potbelly in my hometown!
