Decided to check this place out bc of the high ratings despite the small number of reviews, and I'm glad I did. I came for their lunch special (ends at 3pm) which includes an entree + side for $12. I also ordered a Thai tea which was bomb! Got the tom kha as my side and my god I was pleasantly surprised... def getting that again in the future. Very disappointing with the service, waiter forgot 2 items in our orders, very annoying that people that come in to order is sitting in the dining table's than are not cleaning after they get their to go food. there should be a designated area where people can sit down when they order to go in the front not in dining are in front of customers having there food there. read more

My first time at Little Thai Kitchen restaurant. I placed a to go order. I got the Satay Chicken, Fresh Spring Roll with Shrimp, and Pad Thai with beef. Food tasted really good. There was only one staff working and she was very nice. They prepared the food order very quick in less than 7 minutes. The restaurant has small seating area and no outside seating. Free parking available. No alcohol. Prices are reasonable. It cost $32 for the three food items I purchased. read more

I've only ordered take out from here, so my review is based off of that. I'm SO glad there's another Asian place that has opened up in Spring Valley. Whoever lives in Spring Valley, you know we have limited Asian places to eat at. The workers here are very kind, interior is nice, and they are generous with their portions! I've tried the pad Thai, pad see ew, beef salad, green Thai tea, and the bbq chicken. All of their food isn't drenched in sauces or too overly flavored. The flavor balance is good, and you can always add more to it if you want. All are great choices and I love how accommodating they are with requests. It's good food for the price and portions, but it isn't my favorite Thai place in San Diego. However, it is my favorite Thai place in Spring Valley. read more

This place is great not much to say but great food and great staff. My go to Thai restaurant

So I went to this establishment. They charged me for adding shrimp and mussels. My fault for checking my order as the reason I didn't cause my visit was amazing. I get to home and the mussels and shrimp was missing. I called and they asked do I want a refund. I stated to rude female worker with biker shorts that I will return the food to get what I paid for. I arrive and the chic went to the kitchen and the chef type non English speaking guy just added it to the original plate and gave back to me. I said per restaurant policy you not supposed to take back food from outside and take to kitchen. So I asked the female worker with biker shorts on which lied to say they don't have a manager as I asked to talk to. So yes I will report it this to BBB. read more

I recently moved into the neighborhood and tried out this Thai food restaurant. At first, I really liked the food and the customer service was good. But the past two times I've gone this month, the food has been extremely disappointing. The yellow curry was super oily, I had to get a spoon to try and get as much out. It also had absolutely no flavor at all and the white rice was really mushy. The chicken fried rice was okay, not the worst but the quality of the food as gone down a lot since a few months ago. Great food & service! Everything from the appetizers (sample plate) to our entrees (panang curry and ) was so good. The show stopper was the thai ice green tea-- so sweet and refreshing! IMO, better than the original thai tea! We dined in and service was great. Very attentive. It is a great indicator of hiw good a place is when people are coming in for to go at a steady pace. This place has only been open for about a month - and food quality and service is often best when a business is new. Several previous restaurants at this same location didn't seem to do well (and are no longer here), but this one seems quite popular (with many people ordering take out in advance). The interior is quite nice and would be a pleasant place to dine, but I, also, have only ordered to go. So far, I have only tried their (vegetable) Pad Thai, Chicken Salad, (duck) Drunken Noodle, (seafood) Rard Nar, and both their Thai Iced Tea (with boba) and their Thai Iced Green Tea (which I liked more); all were quite good. I'll probably try the Pineapple Fried Rice the next time I come - and maybe one of their deserts. They have lunch specials and also some promotions for locals (sometimes available for others simply by asking if they have coupons). read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We were regular customers until 4/8/24. My family and I ordered chicken pad thai, chicken drunken noodles, beef drunken noodles, and cream cheese wontons. Same night my 1 year old and 14 year old became violently ill. Rushed to the ER and my teen was admitted needing IV meds and fluids for severe dehydration and pains, oxygen support. She was almost transferred to PICU because of how much she had declined in such little time. This is a very traumatizing situation. I am very angry and disappointed in this restaurant and just want to get the word out to warn others before this happens to someone else. My bf spoke to the owner and he said he would refund the order but it has yet to happen. This is inexcusable and shame on the owners for running business like this. The owners should be held accountable for harming my kids with their negligent workplace. I am deeply saddened. My teen is developmentally disabled with blood disorders and this incident complicated her needs by large. read more
