Little Woodrow's is a cool spot to chill at. I enjoyed my experience overall. There is plenty of seating indoors and outdoors. They have a large parking lot. They also have a variety of seating from large table's, picnic tables to colorful patio chairs with umbrellas. AMBIANCE: It's a FUN Sports Bar Atmosphere! It's a great place to watch games on the big TV screens with friends . It's a whole vibe and feels energetic, lively and entertaining with the games like corn hole, connect four and more. SERVICE: The waitresses were pleasant and friendly. FOOD: The sliders and fries are tasty. A great snack option and reasonably priced. The sliders feature ranch Wagyu topped with bacon, onion, melted cheese, lettuce, pickles, and signature sauce and more. BONUS: The fried pickles and backyard salad were also tasty! I was surprised how good they both tasted. DRINKS: The Mexican candy shot is delicious! The frozen Mexican Candy Cocktail is good, but a little on the sweeter side. However, it's refreshing on a hot day in TEXAS! I tried several different cocktails on the cocktail menu and honestly most were disappointing. I had a good time with my friends. I would go back for sliders and Mexican Candy Shots. I would definitely recommend not going on a hot day. The inside outside concept can let to much hot air inside. This review is of Little Woodrow's happy hour. I decided to come join friends at the happy hour. The $3 well drinks $3 select beer $5 shots and wine are great happy hour deals. The burgers were probably the best food deal and the wings were also tasty. The other drinks on the menu were too sweet and the other food wasn't impressive. The service was ok. Our server was new and trying to remember our order but nice and pleasant. The ambiance was ok. It was warm inside since it's an indoor outdoor environment. read more

While on Facebook I saw a very interesting clip that showed a vertical rotating spit of meat or chicken that was being shaved, a flattop grill and a cup of Ramen with a mini-clip stating "we're open now in Frisco". This looked very interesting so my wife and I decided to check out the new Location of Little Woodrow's. Which is located in front of Stonebriar mall. this is a brand new restaurant which looks great from the outside. Upon entering we immediately became aware of a very LOUD atmosphere with 15-20. If screens all on different channels. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and provided a VERY limited menu. When I asked about the impression of their food offerings that I saw on Facebook, she explained that every Little Woodrow's is different. What I saw was probably their location in Ft. Worth, which has a much boarder menu than this location, which is clearly a "sports bar watering hole ". Food was just "OK". I ordered the 8 wings which I split 4-Buffalo hot / 4 garlic and pepper. All wings were on the small side. Average "sauce / coating". All were "OK" - but nothing special. "Walmart" grade. Wife had the two sliders which were again, "OK" but certainly nothing special. Well seasoned but VERY heavy w/ salt. Choke). Modest cup of Coke and tea are complementary. This is a LOUD upscale sports bar w/ a modest menu. All waitresses have VERY REVEALING attire which are not for the faint of heart. NOT APPROPRIATE for all families or any families w/ children under 25. Certainly not our cup of tea. This place has such cool vibes. I love the bathroom mirror, giant screens, golf room and patio! Games to play like giant jenga, giant beer pong, and hula hoops. DJ came later in the evening. The drinks were pretty strong and tasted good. The Caesar salad wrap was SO good! Our server Tanya was awesome also. My husband and I got the sliders and loaded fries and they quality was very good. I also got a margarita and he got a gin and tonic as part of the happy hour and they were really good. I drove 45 minutes to the Frisco location. i had RSVP'd for a Stars watch party but when we show up 30 minutes before puck drop they tell us they are at capacity. RSVP does nothing... Why is there an option to RSVP??? Does that not hold a table? Are the Stars just gathering data for their personal agenda??? A really nice sports bar with huge TVs, great outdoor patio (also with huge TVs), and some very good food considering it's a sports bar. Especially the Smashburger. Experience was elevated by first class service, and patience, from our server Maddie. With no drink prices posted she patiently and courteously went back to the bar and wrote down the prices of 10 different margarita options. Something that the owner should have made unnecessary. The loss of one star in the rating is due to a "why would you care what it costs?" approach to beverage pricing, or the lack thereof. If the owner would be willing to shop at a grocery store with no prices marked I will come back and order from their no-price beverage menu. Just let me know. read more

Great happy hour specials. $5 wine and $3 beer. I've been twice and had the fried mozzarella, French fries, fried pickles and chicken bites. I would say all are excellent and the spicy ranch has a serious kick. Cool crowd and a good vibe on the patio both times. Rangers on the big screen with audio was nice. I have been here twice now and overall it is a solid spot with a lot of potential. The first visit was at the bar and the service was excellent. The menu is on the smaller side, but the food was good and the happy hour deals are hard to beat. Three dollar beers from 3 to 7 is a great draw. They are clearly trying to compete with places like Boomer Jacks, so adding daily specials or even a reverse happy hour would help them stand out. On my second visit I sat at a table. The first waitress was great, but she left during shift change and the server who took over needs more training. Nothing terrible, just noticeable. Since they just opened, I am sure they will smooth out the rough edges. Both visits were still good overall, and I can see this place becoming a go to once they tighten up consistency, so 4 vs 5 stars at time of writing this review. read more

Decided to visit this establishment to watch some of the sweet 16, from start to finish the bar staff was engaging and attentive. However I ordered an appetizer, 2 beef sliders and fries. I waited for more than 30min and never received my order. I asked a bartender to close me out and remove the sliders as I never received. Well one of the managers spent most of his time talking to another patron, as he was removing the order, he glanced at me failed to acknowledge the issue, didnt come down to apologize, never said a word to me. So my husband and I were very excited to go here with a couple of friends to watch the March madness game . Walked in sat down in the patio area and waited for our server . Server started us all out with some waters ,everything was great until we asked for drinks . Our server was honestly probably not understanding or just confused but we asked for a michelada with modelo negro. The server was very dismissive when asking everyone else the order and I know some places don't have modelo negro but I asked again and she just said " I don't know honestly but I'll just get you modelo if it's there" , I told her as long as it's modelo I'm fine with it . Drinks came to us and I have super great standards for little Woodrow's because they have the best micheladas but definitely not here very very sad with how watered down it was , did not taste great . Still I drank it and was ready to order a bucket for our group , we sent back 2 buckets because we specifically told our server shiner was what we wanted (server brought modelo) . I try never to complain but the service from her was not great , our tabs were supposed to be separate couples (it was 4 of us, so two and two ) , she just rang the card up and split not what was on our tab .
