    Spicy Beef Noodle Soup
    Stephen M.

Came here with my brother and a friend. Got seated right away. Staff was friendly. Have to order through a tablet on the table. Ordered the Chinese Cabbage, cucumber Salad, and Shredded Potato in Cold Sauce for appetizers. I got the Spicy Dry Noodle in Beef Sauce, my brother got the Rice Noodle with Pork Intestine, and my friend got the Spicy Beef Noodle Soup. The food was really good. The appetizers were all amazing. Would definately come back to try other dishes.

It's alright. I ordered the tomato beef noodle soup, I taste no tomato, broth feels like it's powder from ramen noodle packet. Seriously I I thought it would be equivalent to Tam Jai Som Gor in HK. But nope...The braised pork belly with preserved veggies was overcooked, lacked an umami and sweet flavor. Where the hell is the MSG when you need it.

Tucked away in the back of a office/condo building. Hunan Noodle is a small little restaurant but a must visit for those who crave spicy and bold flavors that can generate a steady stream of perspiration, especially with their Spicy beef dish, which left me thoroughly impressed and soaked, you know you're in for a ride as your pores open up and your face and head look like you just came out of the shower still dripping wet. The place is simple. Order via the tablet on the table. The food arrives, finish and pay the cashier when you're done. We had the following: * Steamed meatball with Sticky rice. * Nanchang mixed noodle. * Spicy Stir fried beef. The steamed meatball was rolled in cooked rice and was moist with a subtle flavor almost under seasoned, but had a very interesting mouth texture with the mixture of rice and meat eaten in one bite, still a tasty morsel in every bite. The Nanchang mixed dry noodle was delicious with a slight numbing spiciness to it. The star was the Spicy Stir fry beef, which is a popular dish here. It had tender slices of beef and were perfectly cooked, retaining a juicy, succulent texture. The spice level was a little too fierce for me, so if you can't take the spice, tell them to dial it down. The flavors do excite the palate as each bite carried the smokiness and heat of the Hunan chili peppers, complemented by garlic and ginger. The portion sizes of the dishes were generous, and the presentation was simple. The staff at Hunan Noodle were friendly and attentive. There is a small condiment station for you to prepare your sauces, which also included pickled cabbage. I do have to zonk them for automatically adding a 15% gratuity to the bill. If you're a fan of spicy food and appreciate well executed dishes, Hunan Noodle is a standout choice. I'll definitely return to explore more of their menu, hopefully, I won't need a fire hose next time to put out the fire in my pallette.

I think everything is just okay. The noodles are a bit softer than what I think and the appetizers we got were just okay. I think the stinky tofu is too watery and not really the flavor I wanted but it was crispy. The steamed pork ribs were steamed too long I think and the century eggs didn't really taste like century eggs. The noodles were definitely the best part and the flavors were not bad. The people are nice though and there's a good amount of space!

This was such a great experience! Although there is definitely a language barrier with the staff, they are really helpful and pump out tons of dishes in minutes! Although my dish was really tasty, I wish it had more protein. Overall, though, prices are amazing, and the food is really tasty!

05/12/2024 Came by for a snack this was across the street from my hotel. I ordered the Spicy Beef Dry Noodles. I don't like places that speak only Chinese even tho I am Chinese but "ABC". It was confusing I asked how much? The woman pointed at the menu and said took a bottle of water out. So I thought it comes with water. Nope I was charged $1.50 for the water that I didn't want till I got back to my hotel and saw the receipt. So minus 1 star for that trap sale. Got about 3 pieces of beef but it was very tender and tasty. Just the right amount of spice. What's wrong with these restaurants No Zero Sugar or Diet soda, all the drinks has sugar a no, no for me.

Everything was amazing and they give you refills for their chewy nice noodles too! Will definitely get your money's worth! In love with this place!

This noodle is authentic hunan taste! Most dishes are spicy. 分量很大,不是预制菜,还有小菜比如花生,辣酸豇豆;榨菜可以加

Did delivery order for spicy dry noodles and beef noodle soup. They were both as advertised. The spicy noodles are super spicy with the mala hot at spicy. The rice noodle portion is like a 1.5x portion so great if you like this type of noodle!! The beef noodle broth was a bit salty so I diluted it with water and it was still salty enough. I would come back to dine in. Good first experience. This place is inside the place that has congee village.

I'm from Hunan and it's hard to find Hunan food in general. When I found this place online, I was excited to try it out. I went with a friend on a Saturday afternoon. It's on the second floor of the building and it's pretty easy to find because there's a lot of signs. We sat down and ordered on the iPad. There's Chinese and English so it's okay if you can't speak Mandarin. We ordered the Changsha stinky tofu (preserved vegetable, chilis, cilantro) and the sour bean and minced meat fried rice with fried egg. The portions were large for the price. The stinky tofu was pretty good, about the same as in China. It's black because it's fermented in a black brine. It was crispy but soft and quite spicy. The fried rice had a lot of sour beans (my favorite!). I saw later that they had a sauce bar that I could've used during our meal so will remember for next time. I'll definitely be back!

Taste is very authentic and savoury. The food is plenty and the items are of very affordable prices. The order was served fairly quickly. The waitresses were kind and enthusiastic. The internal decoration is very retrospective Chinese style. Great choice for a quick nostalgia meal for Chinese students abroad.

The food is so good and I hope I could live in flushing. The servers are very nice and easy-going. They are hospitable and wish to chat if you'd like to. The place is clean and tidy, within a building and easy to find. Light music played.

Warning to all with a pineapple allergy like me: do not eat the duck sauce. If you like spicy ask for hot mustard instead. Orange chicken was crispy and flavorful. I did not find it spicy, but my spice tolerance is very high. My fiance had the chicken with broccoli and it looked amazing. Try the cold noodles. They are chewy and delicious. For me the fried dumplings were good, but not great. Worth a try but nothing to rave over.

The menu here is split into two sections, classic American Chinese take out and Sichuan cooking…read more Seems to be a fairly popular take out spot, as they were fulfilling many delivery orders while I was there, but the interior is comfortable and elegantly decorated unlike a standard take out only spot. I ordered the cured pork with garlic shoots and dry fried green beans. The cured pork was quite salty, and paired well with the buttery, tender leeks it was cooked with. The dish was not overly oily, and was pleasant over white rice. I enjoyed the chewiness of the pork which allowed you to experience the complex flavor. The green beans were well fried, with characteristic texture signature to this dish. The seasoning was very well balanced and not overpowering to the natural sweetness of the green beans. I would recommend either dish. They were both slightly toned down iterations when compared to the times I've eaten these dishes at other Sichuan restaurants in flushing, but still well seasoned and well cooked. The service was very warm and friendly, and many other customers seemed to be returning regulars.
