Livermore Saw and Mower, Rant !! Took my gas pressure washer in for service due to my not being able to start it, it did have some old fuel from last year in it, but topped it off with new fuel. This was three weeks ago. Got called last Thursday that the carburetor needed to be replaced due to the old one not running right after it had been cleaned. I ok'd the replacement. I was given an estimate of not to exceed 160.00 and paid 60.00 deposit when I dropped it off. Thursday was told it would be about 200.00 to replace carb. Went to pick up power washer and asked for old carb. It looks like they never took it apart to clean it as stated, see pics, there is still grease on the screws, also that stated they did oil change, again, how they do that without unscrewing either of the drain plugs ? See pics. I just bought a new Stihl battery lawnmower from them three weeks ago, I will be finding a different dealer. BTW, brought this all to the owners attention, he stands by what his tech noted, even when I showed him the evidence.

Wow! What a great find. As an arborist my life and the lives of others can depend on my gear. Great PPE including the not so common KASK Zenith X helmet and all the accessories. Miguel rocks. He helped guide me to every option and took the time to unbox and show me my choices. Online shopping doesn't offer that. They have a huge selection of Stihl chainsaws and I checked out some Echo saws as well. Alberto used to rep for Stihl so he knows the saws and his company connections help him keep his finger on the pulse of Stihl developments. Great assortment of Silky saws, saddles, gaffs, rope- great prices on rope!! and so much more. If you're an arborist with a commitment to bringing your best and safest effort to our industry Livermore Saw & Mower have it or can get it for you. Stay safe!

Why would you ever go to a big box retail store when you have great place like this even somewhat nearby.

My string trimmer was beyond repair and when I decided to look for a new one, Stihl was the brand I wanted. The salesman at T&I was incredibly helpful in explaining the various models and features. He explained Stihl and how they operate, the value of the dealership, and answered the few questions I had. When I'd made my decision, the salesman filled it with fuel, explained the operation of the trimmer, and demonstrated proper use before loading it into my truck. I'm glad to have found this local shop. The folks are helpful and they carry all you might need to care for your yard or acreage (tractors too).

Cannot recommend these guys for on-site service…read more I had a John Deere riding mower. I had a broken steering assembly and wanted to replace the rear tires because of a flat (I already had the replacement tires). All in, about $250 in parts. That's not the problem. The problems started when they missed three scheduled appointments. Straight up no-showed. After the first two no shows, they apparently parted ways with the tech -- but, he had the parts so they missed the third appointment. I learned of that after they cancelled the appointment the day of. When they finally arrived they made the repairs (+ basic service on the lawn mower--I provided the service kit - but I figured they were there, might as well have them do it), but the tech indicated they'd need to use a tire shop to mount the new tires. Tech would come back the next day. He did, and I didn't think much of it at the time. Two months later, I finally got the invoice. First, despite never sending the invoice, they tried charging a financing fee because the invoice was pending for the two months they never sent it -- even though I could not have known what to pay until I got the invoice. Second, the invoice was not itemized. But, ultimately, to replace a $250 part, do the basic service, and change a tire, they were charging $3500(!). I think that's more than the cost of the original mower. When I finally got an itemized invoice, I discovered they charged me $1300 to pick up the tires at the shop, bring them back, and install it on the mower + $133 from the shop to actually mount them. That's more than 5 hours of labor to drive 20 miles each way to change a tire. Obviously, if anyone knew that would be the cost, they'd just do it themselves. If you have to use them (I know, with California not selling non-diesel mowers any more you may have to repair), expect delays, get a written estimate, and expect they will overcharge. But, I'd try and find another option first.
