I could not get an answer for 24-48 hours. and only by email. I found out that it would be at least 2 months for the chairs to be delivered. Came here July 3rd looking for deals. We found some within our price range in the outlet section of the store shabby to the main store. Unfortunately for us it was out of stock because a lot of the couches are sitting out on the cargo ships out at sea But we did have a great salesperson help us out. What i really enjoyed is the fact that the salespeople don't feel like they're rushing us ( at least this salesperson didn't). She took her time, asked us questions, showed us around and gave excellent suggestions. So because of her we did ended up getting a coach from Living Spaces online. Boy or boy this place is HUGE. Yes, you can get lost in there. My sister and I went shopping for a living room furniture. Well we walked and walked and found many incredible options. My sister ended up picking a great couch and a beautiful accent chair. The gentleman that assisted us also informed her that it can take 12-15 weeks for delivery, due to the high demand. Which was not a big issue. Picking fabrics for the couch and pillows is always fun. I suggest you paid for the protection plan for peace of mind and the delivery and installation. FYI, the delivery is cheaper if they deliver mid week, lol. They have a great outlet section full of great items that don't really look like they belong in the outlet area, but hey who doesn't like to save money right. My frustration with Living Spaces knows no bounds. I wish I could give it negative stars!!! It all began when my wife and I decided to spruce up our home with a new set of bookshelves. The website indicated they had four of these bookshelves in stock, and we eagerly placed an order for a pair. The first bookshelf arrived, and while we were relieved that it was in decent shape, our hopes were quickly dashed when the second one showed up in a pitiful state - badly damaged, with corners crushed and shelves askew. Not only that, but the day before, we saw the same exact bookshelf at their clearance section with the same damaged paint and sections for half off, so basically they sent us their CLEARANCE item for our FULL priced NEW purchase. Our excitement turned into irritation as we realized we needed a replacement for the second bookshelf. Living Spaces, however, didn't live up to their name. Despite their website still claiming that the item was in stock, they informed us that they had to place a new order for the replacement, which would take an excruciatingly long three weeks to arrive. So, for three weeks, we had one good bookshelf and one eyesore in our living room. When the replacement finally arrived, you can probably guess what happened - it was also damaged AGAIN and even WORSE than before and they forgot to paint half the bookshelf! At this point, we couldn't believe our misfortune. Living Spaces once again had to order another replacement, subjecting us to more weeks of waiting and frustration. Unfortunately, history repeated itself, and the next replacement was also in dismal condition and the top of the bookshelf was not painted! Frustrated beyond words, we decided to return both bookshelves and request a refund. That's when Living Spaces dropped another bombshell on us - they claimed we couldn't return both items because it had been over 7 days for the first bookshelf. This was ludicrous! We had ordered them as a set, and it was their fault that they kept sending us damaged goods. To add insult to injury, they offered us an "exception" to their return policy but had the audacity to say they would charge us a restocking fee and a pick-up fee. I mean, why should we be the ones paying for their incompetence and their inability to provide us with undamaged items? It's an absolute travesty that we had to endure this ordeal, and it's clear that Living Spaces needs a serious overhaul in their customer service and inventory management practices. read more

Regrets! I purchased a secontional and a chair 5 years ago. The salesperson convinced me to buy the insurance saying that I could use the money 5 years later if I did not use the insurance. He did not tell me anything else. So, I purchased $425 insurance, and 5 years later, I picked out an item and called to use the money, and the salesperson said that I had to double the amount if I wanted to redeem the money. I spoke with the manager, and she said that since I can't prove that the salesperson did not tell me, she was not gonna do anything. She didn't seem very sincere when she was apologizing. I ordered 8 chairs and paid full price. The day of delivery was a complete disaster. The chairs were unboxed, had scratches, & one was broken from the leg and glued back together. The delivery agent called his supervisor to notify them about the delivery. The supervisor asked to speak with me & gave me two options. Option #1: get a $164 refund for the inconvenience & damage of the chairs. Option #2: send a repair team to fix the chairs and if I wasn't satisfied I could return them. I told supervisor I did not want any option as I paid full price for "new" chairs and I got used chairs that literally looked like they grabbed from the display room and delivered to my home. I am very disappointed with costumer services. They did not even offer to send me new chairs! I have been buying furniture from Livingspaces for my new home for the past 4 months and have spent over $8,000! My previous deliveries were great. This La Mirada (next to Cerritos) location is the largest store in area. They have a huge huge outlet space too. Outlet area also has clearance! Outlet items = Price in black. All new, or ordered new. Free delivery. Clearance items = Price in red. On floor, only one and not new. Delivery is on your own. Sadly, siting and feeling sofas IRL determines alot of what below won't say on tags. How to pick your couch/sofa (doesn't have to be in this order): 1. Insert filling you want (fiber or foam). Fiber is very soft, and foam is more firm. 2. Density (1.8+ for durability). Foam density can go up to 2.0. So less likeliness to leave weight imprint, or look very used. But density doesn't tell you how many inches the foam is though (Like 1 inch vs 5 inches of this foam density). 2. Stitching of the fabric. Bottom cushion with certain stitching force insert material to stay in more. The piece can hold it's shape better. 3. Fabric can determine how was it it is to clean. Polyester fabric is advised to be easiest to clean. They sell cleaning solution, and warranty. Stretchy fabric will lose a tight look. 4. Determine if want the cushions to be attached/built in to the sofa, detached. Attached is cheaper and is more difficult to clean because can't be detached. Attached has fabric you can remove and wash. 5. Determine if want cushions to be reversible. If get bad wine stain, burn, etc (for clumsy ppl like me), then nice to have this flip over option. 6. Zip open the cushion to check it's constructed. Also structure of sofa and foam thickness (vs density what type of foam) can play a factor. Warranty is great too. They determine if a stain or rip is fixable by cleaner or specialist to repair. If it's a cushion, then they can try to replace the cushion. If it's the arm or unreplaceable area, then can replace sofa. The price of warranty is 15% of the furniture price. Staff Scon offered great advice. Beds with slabs can also add a bunkie board layer ($125-$145) for extra support to your slabs and bed frame. We rsvp items with our name and phone number. We purchased a bed and mattresses (foundation + mattress) last Saturday and added the full-service delivery which includes assembly. The delivery was made as scheduled on the following Tuesday. Everything APPEARED to have gone smoothly: Bed assembled, mattresses unpacked, and the boxes/packaging hauled away until I had a chance later to inspect the bed (I was not available when the assembly was done). The 3 planks supporting the mattresses were not properly installed that they were warping from the weight of the mattresses. I had to remove the mattresses and redo that part of the assembly. Why did I pay for this service if I have to do all this?? Waste of my time and money!! Don't know who they hire for this service, but definitely a shoddy job. I recommend you inspect the finished product THOROUGHLY if you go with their assembly service. Another issue: After the delivery/assembly was done, we were given a flyer that requested us to participate in a survey. The flyer states that we'd be receiving a survey in the email. I thought this would be a good opportunity to express my dissatisfaction with their assembly. However, almost 1 week after the delivery/assembly, no such email. Another indication this company does not care. Strike 3 came when I wanted to return the mattress foundation (not the mattress, but the foundation) 2 days after the delivery. I called their customer service to find out how to go about it and the rep told me the mattress is excluded from return. I told her it was NOT the mattress but the foundation I'd like to return or just exchange it. The answer was still NO! We have purchased mattresses in the past from other companies and were always able to at least exchange them within a certain period of time. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. The associate who helped me was very nice but I was misinformed about the products I purchased. I purchased a bed frame and SPECIFICALLY asked the associate if it came with wooden slats. She confirmed that it did and even upsold me for the warranty when I SPECIFICALLY asked if the warranty covers the slats too, if they were to break. She confirmed this as well. When I finally opened the product, the bed frame did NOT come with wooden slats and when I called customer service, they said the particular frame required a box spring. She said she could see who helped me and explained that she was relatively new and bedding/sleep was not her department. The manager told me to come in so someone who works in that department can show me some box spring options. I asked her if I'm able to get any sort of discount since I was misinformed and got rid of my previous box spring due to it, and she said she has to confirm if I'm able to get one or not, but if I did, it would only be 10%. What a NIGHTMARE!! On 1/17/19 I purchased a Stearns & Foster Firm Pillow Top Queen Mattress, I paid $1,990.91. My delivery was scheduled for the following day between the hours of 8am - 3pm. Immediately after my mattress was delivered I began to smell a very strong chemical order. Unfamiliar with "Off Gassing" I wasn't sure if the smell was from the plastic covering or the mattress itself, so I decided to let it air out. I left the mattress uncovered in a spare room for several days, with no luck the odor was still very strong. Five days later on 1/23/19 I noticed the trim on the pillow top was starting to come undone. I immediately took photos and contacted the store to notify them of the issue. I was instructed to fill out a form online and include the photos I had taken of the tear. An appointment was made to have someone come out to inspect the mattress on 2/5/19 between the hours of 10am - 2pm. The inspection of the mattress was done as well as an inspection of the bed frame to ensure I had the correct bed frame needed for this mattress. Once the inspection was done, I was told I would hear back from Living Spaces in regard to the exchange of the matttess. On 2/14/19 I contacted Living Spaces to follow up on the inspection since I hadn't heard from them since the inspection on 2/5/19. I was told that the inspection report was not complete yet and would be contacted as soon as it was done. I was finally contacted on 3/21/19 and told my mattress would be exchanged, however the mattress I had purchased was discontinued and I would have to come in and pick out another mattress. On 3/21/19 I went to Living Spaces to pick out a new mattress, another Stearns & Foster Plush Queen Pillow Top, I paid $2,089.91 for this one, which was more expensive than the previous one. I was also told to come in the following day to smell the mattress, since the first one had a horrible odor for several weeks. My new mattress was scheduled for delivery 3/26/19. My new mattress arrived on 3/26/19 with a slight odor for several days. I kept the mattress for the 120 trial period in hopes my body would adjust to the mattress, but had no luck and decided to return it. The constant back pain every morning was unbearable. Now this is where this nightmare becomes worse. A return was processed for the mattress and a pick up was scheduled for 7/16/19. Under Living Spaces refund policy, once the item is received and inspected, a refund will be made within 48 hours and the refund will be issued in SAME METHOD OF PAYMENT THAT WAS USED IN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE. ON 7/19/19 I called Living Spaces to follow up on my refund since I hadn't received my refund yet and had purchased the mattress with my debit card. I was told that my refund had been processed and to give it a few more days to post. On 7/23/19 I phoned Living Spaces again, it has now been a week since my mattress was picked up. I was told that my refund had NOT been processed, it was incorrectly put in as a store credit and would have to wait ANOTHER 7 to 10 days for a CHECK to be mailed out to me. Wait a minute!!! I paid with my debit card and your policy clearly states the refund is given in the method the order was placed within 48 hours. It's been 7 days and you want me to wait another 7 to 10 days!! I explain to the person on the phone that I have been sleeping on the sofa for a week now and need my refund to purchase another mattress. An apology was given, but was told I can't help you and you have to wait. I speak to a manager later in the day and was told the best they could do is cut me a check 3 days later that can be picked up at the store. On Friday 7/26/19, 10 days since the mattress has been picked up, I call the store to confirm the check is there to be picked up. I am told it is, so I drive to the store to find out the check is not there!! I immediately get on the phone and call corporate and am now being told there is nothing they can do and I now have to wait till 7/31/19 for them to be able to cut a check!! By this point I am extremely pissed off and I demand my money immediately. The person on the phone tells me she will call me back in 20 to 30 minutes and to wait in the store. I refuse to hang up and sit on hold. During this time, a manager at the store tells me she is going upstairs to see if they can cut me a check. 15 minutes later she came back down with a check in hand. BUYERS BEWARE!! Review the other reviews made as well as mine, I wish I had prior to purchasing anything from this store. The service I received was horrifying, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get competent help. Also, you have to pay a $199 restocking fee. With all of the trouble I had to go through since the initial order placed, the least Living Spaces could do is REFUND the $199 fee they IMMEDIATELY took while making me jump through hoops to get a refund that took 11 days instead of the 48 hours their policy guarantees!! read more

Gave them another try since my last review. Spent over $4k in purchase here recently. They used a vendor to deliver my rug and it was stained. I superseded their 7 day policy for returns. I was still moving home and didn't get to unpack it until after the 7 days. After spending over $4k they couldn't accommodate a customer this one time. I was planning to spend even more here and more in future. But because they couldn't show me accommodation now they will not have anymore business from me.
