Absolute WORST customer service I have EVER received. Picked up my Mom and we drove all the way from Palm Springs to the Menifee store on Saturday August 15th. I went there to see a specific living room set. I wish I would have gotten the sales lady's name (blond haired woman). I told her I had very specific requirements and had looked everywhere. She then proceeded to trash talk Jerome's and Bob's Furniture. She said they will tell you its in stock to get you yo buy it and it won't be in stock after you order it. I told her I had been to Bob's already and they told me it was in stock and that I had other furniture I had purchased at Jerome's and had no problems. The set at Living Spaces I came to see had one on display, but the recliner was not available. Asked when it would be in stock. She didn't know. Maybe next year. Then I asked about the sofa and love seat. Sofa not in stock but the loveseat is. I tell her I want something in stock for delivery and want to be able to get additional pieces as they are available. She then showed us another set in a light grey. I tell her I hate that color and would not even consider it. I tell her the different shades of brown like the set I came in for. Then she shows me another set, that is not electric. I had explained that was one of my initial requirements, that it was all electric. Then she pops up on her phone a whole list of recliners that are that light grey color. I told her, I said I do not want that color. The sales lady was not in earshot so my mom tells me I can't believe this lady. She is not listening to what you want at all. We then realized she was no where to be seen. I guess she realized she was not making a sale so she just walked away. Didn't say a word. Nothing. I would have gotten her card so I could make a complaint but couldn't find her. My Mom wanted to ask for a Manager but I said let's just go. And I went back to Bob's today and got the I had originally looked at there. And yes, it's in stock. And it gets delivered this week! Just made our forth purhase a Living Spaces. We bought our sofa/recliner set at the Menifee store last Septemeber and couldn't hav e been happier with the service at that store. We experienced a minor problem with the chair and the customer service we received from corporte to rectify the problem was outstanding. The latest purchases were for the Allie sofa - we got the teal color and it's gorgeous. I was assited by Virgiina a very patient and extremely helpful sales associate! Once we got the sofa, we decided to go back and get the loveseat. Can't wait to get it! Our other purchase was a bedroom set that we boughtat the Mission Valley store in San Diego during the Black Friday Sale before last Christmas- a great buy for a very nice queen set. Purchased a dining set in April and decided to save the delivery fee ($99) and put it together myself. After 4 hours of construction, I decided the delivery and assembly would have been well worth the charge. So fast forward to this month when hubby and I decided to purchase a new bedroom set. We decided on one that we loved and night stands to match. Set up our delivery time, but unfortunately we missed the driver by mere minutes. Called "dispatch" and explained the circumstances (we were told 20-30 min for arrival and the driver showed up 9 minutes from the time we were called) and requested that he come back at the end of his day or when convenient even just to drop off and we would put together ourselves. They explained that it was impossible to re-schedule the driver and that we would have to wait until the following day to hear from dispatch with a new delivery time and pay the $99 again for delivery. Non of which made sense because if you purchase before 4 pm, they send someone same day for delivery. We watched the system online that shows arrival and departure time of our driver and his deliveries were ALL local. When I called back to speak to a supervisor, they were more than accommodating and assured me a new delivery date and time with no additional charge. Worst experience ever!!! The sales guy showed that he didn't care, thinking we didn't have money maybe we were there just to look. We purchased $7,000 in furniture then his tone of voice changed then he was being nice, it should of not been like that at all.They should treat their customer good from the beginning all the way to the end. ( Terrible customer service!) Then to top it off when delivery comes they bring a bed totally wrong from what we choose. Talk about major mistake. We purchased over $13,000 of furniture. The available selections and quality are good. We are pleased with the furniture. We hoped for a volume discount or free shipping, but that concept was quickly rejected. We paid $99 for shipping. Regardless, based upon that experience, this review would have earned 4 or 5 stars. The real disappointment occurred the following week. I went back to purchase a headboard to match the rest of the bedroom furniture that we purchased. They wanted another $99 to deliver that single piece. I suggested that they could offer a discount considering that I just purchased over $13,000 of furniture. The manager rudely rejected the request. I would have accepted a thoughtful and polite rejection. The rudeness indicated that I had not established myself as a valued customer. I purchased a chair from this location that I was suppose to pick up myself but due to the recent rains I told them I would be in closer to the weekend when it stopped. They said that would be fine and that they would call before having to send it back to the warehouse if it was too long. The didn't call and they send it back the night before I came to pick it up. Then the representative said she would have it delivered for me and I agreed but explained I had moved from the address they had on record recently and to make sure it was the new one I had updated with them, she confirmed the address and everything. When I checked on the deliver with their tracking system, it was scheduled to be delivered to my old address! They tried to re-schedule to the new and said it should be fine and after cancelling plans and waiting at home that evening I get a call from someone who says the delivery isn't going to happen because the items not available. What??? Yes it is, it was out for deliver that day! When I asked her to transfer me to a manager, she transfers me back to the main customer service line where I wait for a half an hour to speak with a manager. So here it is two weeks later and no chair...maybe on Wednesday. No one knows what they are doing and extremely poor customer service! read more

I have to say, I don't always judge a book by its cover. But this now being the second time my boyfriend and I have visited this location in two weeks, it's no fluke, it's their culture. Both times we've come to this location we haven't even received a "hello" or even so much as a head nod from an associate. Both times we've walked the store and spent a good 30-45 minutes in there and watched lots of employees standing around talking and again, nothing. I don't know if we were being judged because we are a younger couple, assuming we can't afford anything, I don't know. But we definitely didn't appreciate it and personally by the second trip it really pissed me off. We were there to buy a new sectional couch, an area rug, an ottoman and bedroom dressers. Both times we left with nothing when we easily could've spent $5,000. You should never judge a book by its cover. Just because we don't walk around throwing 100 dollar bills, doesn't mean we aren't there for a reason. Everyone deserves the same amount of respect. First let me just say the only reason they got 1 star is because it wouldnt let me complete this without it. Also, im sure who I am calling is not in Menifee but in the store they have messed up as well. All over ignorance. This company has got to be a joke. I appreciated that they did not work on commission and felt like I would be getting an honest opinion and order since I had not made a bed purchase before. While ordering in the store (on 07-14-13 - speaking to the "manager" of the department) we were told everything was paid for and that "estimated" delivery was 2 weeks but almost never takes that long. A week later my husband was looking at the receipt and the date on it for "estimated" delivery was 3 weeks from the date we ordered, so we called and it only got worse. The representative said they would call around and see what the actual date was and call us back- 24 hrs later we get a call that a piece that was needed was missing from the order and that we would ultimately have to pay more to get our order. My husband went into the store the next day and spoke to Jessica (he says very nice) and we paid part of the difference and we ok to move on (this was on 07-28-13). On Tuesday (07-30-13) I received a call stating that our order was ready and would be delivered today (08-01-13) and that I would get a call on wedneday to confirm a time frame...no call. today I call to get information and now whoever entered the "correction" entered the wrong sku number and now they are on back order and would be until next Wednesday. I asked to speak to a manager because at this point im done. She got on the phone and was very rude no hello just "how may I help you" and "ok?? sooo? do u just want me to return you your money??" Whoa this places is a mess! Sales people don't know what they are talking about. They say an adjustable bed would fit in frame but it doesn't. My husband had to chop off part of the bed to fit in frame. That's just the beginning of it. We purchased a white table, Salem (DO NOT GET) and it literally fell apart within the first month. Three chairs snapped completely. When it was first delivered it was scratched all over the place and one of the chairs were wobbly. Told the delivery guys and they just said to call customer service. I did just that and they were not willing to help or fix it, after months of disputes and in going battle. I was able to finally talk to the director of living spaces customer service who finally saw my point of view and agreed we were treated poorly. The cheap furniture was finally picked up and we got our money back. But over all cheaply made furniture followed by awful customer service and months and months of a head ache! Love that they don't work on commissions. I can't stand furniture shopping because usually someone is following you around, trying to get you to like this or that item when they know nothing about your home or your color scheme or what you your personal taste is, and they aren't giving you enough credit to be able to find what you need on your own. I want to get in and get out, I need to think and ponder... I don't want to be answering questions and describing my house to some stranger that doesn't even have their decorating license. Living Spaces, is the complete opposite, yet they have enough employees working here, which makes it easy to get questions answered if you have any. Their financing is really great, it's through GE Capital, most of the furniture is of good quality and don't forget to check out the Clearance section. We found our couch set on Clearance and they delivered a brand new one. It was on sale, so it wasn't like we had to take the floor model. I was very pleased with our experience here, it surprised me that some of their deals are comparable to Ikea but the furniture is such better quality. I will be back. Some tips for shoppers: - Measure your rooms (Width, Height, Length), and your current furniture before shopping. - Bring a tape measure to the showroom (although, the employees carry them also) - Make sure to measure your doorways before shopping - Take pictures of your room or bring paint samples for comparisons. - They charge a 10% restocking fee if you cancel your order - They charge a 5% re stocking fee if you exchange your order - They charge $90 to ship all furniture, you will pay this again if you exchange it. - I think you get 30 days to change your mind. read more

I really thought I had found a furniture company with fantastic customer service. I purchased a Pleather Loveseat Sofa bed, less than 2 years ago. I was offered the 5 year protection plan at an extra cost. Of course I purchased it after my sales associate did such an amazing job explaining how so much is covered. Rips, scratches, stains etc. I live alone with no pets or children. In less than 2 years the back cushion is cracking and the fake leather is pealing off. (I'm aware that this is not high quality leather) but I did pay over 500 for the Love seat. The protection company did send a technician out only to tell me we do not cover vinyl. Living Spaces is doing nothing to fix this issue and are calling it normal wear and tear. For me, they lost a good customer. For you, just make sure you really read the protection plan. read more

I am completely disappointed in my sales associate, Rosee at the Menifee location. I asked her several times about the fit through the stairwell and doorway and she reassured me that it would fit. My boyfriend even questioned her more and she said, "no it's not a problem they turn it sideways and it will go through. They do it all the time." So, I signed off on the policy thinking the store knew better than I did. After all they deal with delivery of couches ALL.THE. TIME. Needless to say the couch did not fit. The 2 delivery men did not attempt the stairs because they said it was too big and too heavy. Now, I owe $248.00 and I don't even have the couch. I went back to living spaces to look for a smaller couch but the smallest width is 37". My stairwell is a standard 35"and the sales associates are saying, "for sure this couch will fit." It is hard to have any confidence in their policy since the customer is the only one taking all the risk. The last thing I want is to owe another 25% on a couch I can't receive. read more

I will never shop there again. Within the past two years of buying our living room set two chair legs have broken. Only my husband and I live at our home, neither of us are overweight and our dining room furniture gets used maybe twice a month. Last year when the first chair leg broke I ordered it ($24) in July and it was delivered finally in December. This year when another chair leg broke I go in to the store to order a new one and they tell me they no longer carry spare parts but still sell the entire chair in stores right now. She said this is a common thing and happens often so I have to call their corporate phone number and get a number for the vendor who makes that specific chair leg. All of this after half an hour waiting in he empty store. Absolutely ridiculous. Customer service is absolutely pointless when they can't do anything for you. Last year I had to call and remind the manager 3 TIMES to order my chair leg. 6 weeks later I called to check on my order status only to find out the work order had been created but never submitted. I purchased an L-shaped sectional at living spaces in Menifee. Within the manufactures warranty period, the L-shaped cushion started to sink down. I called Living Spaces and they sent someone out to evaluate it, and said that I had to call the store to order a new cushion. So I did, and about eight weeks later I got a small unapholstered cushion for the couch, not the L-shaped section. So I called Living Spaces, and they said they would order it again. Once more, I waited several weeks, and when it finally arrived, I received an unapholstered foam L-shaped cushion and the fabric cover separate, and they expected me to put the cover on the cushion! Try as I may, I couldn't do it. So I called Living Spaces again, and they told me to bring it down to their warehouse in Menifee and they would put it on. So I did, and no one there knew how to do it. After a while of waiting, one of the warehouse workers finally was able to get the fabric cover on the foam cushion, but it looked terrible. It was all puckered and crooked and the ends did not fill in the material. I called Living Spaces again, and they told me this is just the way it is. I threw the replacement in the dumpster, because it looked worse than the defective cushion. I am out over $900.00. I know you get what you pay for and all that, but I believe this sofa should have lasted at least a year! You can bet I will never purchase another thing from Living Spaces ever again! I purchased a bedroom set on 4/15/16 at the Menifee location. Within 12 days the bed broke and we are unable to sleep in our bedroom. I called the warranty department on 4/27 and they said to send photos of the damage. We sent photos on 4/28 and I was told by Andrew that we would be contacted within 24 hours to determine if it was a repair or replace issue. He never followed through, nobody called, so I called back and spoke to someone else who said the warranty dept will be calling me very soon as the photos had been evaluated but they were unable to share the results. They assured me that I would be receiving a call that day. On 4/29, no call received, I called again on late afternoon and they said that they were busy but I would be receiving a call no later that Saturday. No call on Saturday and the warranty department works on Saturday. We haven't been able to sleep in our bed for 5 nights at this point. I call back today and I am told a manger needed to be consulted by Melissa. I am disconnected and call back. I am told Melissa is now helping someone else and no manager is available to address my issue. The representative tell me she understands my frustration but because my bed didn't break within 7 days it was going to be another 5 days before a repairman can come to just inspect and maybe fix our bed because they only are in my area on Saturday and Sunday. The fact that my bed broke on day 12 and not day 6 is very unfortunate for me and my sleep. I wasn't expecting my bed to break at all! Then she says based on the photos I sent in 5 days ago it was obvious that someone needed to come out and look at it. It wasn't obvious to the previous 5 people I had spoken to and if it would have been, my bed could have been looked at this past weekend by the person who is only in my area on Saturdays and Sundays. So now I had to send more photos to a manager, Laurie who is looking into things on behalf of Melissa the customer service representative. We are going on a week with no bed to sleep in and I and probably looking at another week and a half for any repairs based on their availability. My girlfriend and I just got an apartment and looked everywhere for a coffee table/end table set. We found one here and thought we had a winner. I picked the set up from their store the following day and one of the end tables were damaged. My girlfriend called the store and a woman asked her to email her a picture of the piece. She did not hear back from anyone. We called again and they gave us the run around and still didn't have an answer. My girlfriend called again a few days later and they claimed we set up an exchange date yet this was the first time either of us heard this. They then tried to tell her we had to take the entire set back after I already put together the coffee table and other end table! When she went back to the store they opened two more sets and those tables were more damaged than ours!!! Eventually my girlfriend was able to get the floor model from them, but it was honestly unbelievable the amount of grief we received from some employees. Whoever my girlfriend spoke with on the phone had a terrible attitude and huffed at her as if she was bothering her. I understand it's not their fault that furniture is damaged, but at least try to understand and hold back on the attitude. 2 stars because we eventually were able to get a replacement, but I highly doubt we will ever return to Living Spaces in the future. read more

I spent over $1,200 on 2 Cooper sofas and after about 2 months the stitching is coming apart. The zipper on one of the cushions broke and now the couch looks like $#It. The stitching on 2 of the pillows also came apart and I am really angry about the way they are handling (or NOT handling) It. I bought the insurance with the product for an extra $100 And they bragged so hard on how great the policy was. I filed a claim with the insurance and the said to email them pictures of the damage and they would respond within 5 days. 2 weeks later I e mailed them back and they said to send the pics again. A week later I emailed them again and 2 weeks later they said they would look into it. When I finally got someone on the phone they said "sorry it's a manufacturer defect, not our problem." I called living spaces and they said send pics of damage and they would respond in 24 - 48 hours. 4 days went by and I called and ask whard going on. They said sorry they would look into immediately and someone would call by the end of the day. Nope. I called this morning and they said the same thing. I am completely dissatisfied with the service and apathy I get from them. When I was shopping in their store they were VERY attentive trying to get me to spend my money but when it comes to seeing that their customers are happy and taken care of they don't care one bit. Buyer beware!!! This is our last resort to get a response. Within two years we have purchased well over 10k furnishing our home through Living Spaces; dining room, living room, family room and bedrooms. Within nine months of owning our Dresden sectional the cushions all started to separate at the seam and have compressed down to have no comfort without having to fluff up the cushions before sitting on them. We purchased the warranty on this particular buy (thank goodness). However, dealing w customer service has been a complete disaster between being on hold, getting the run around and feel as if they are completely playing games w us. The end result so far has been us repeatedly calling them and discussing the issue and being blown off due to them saying they will look into it and call us back. The first delivery was a no show, the second time delivering the wrong couch to replace it (that was two weeks ago), and now just today only delivering two out of four pieces even after confirming w customer service the night before that they were to deliver four. When we asked the delivery guys about it they said they were only to deliver two pieces and "another truck was going to deliver the other pieces". Ya right. So they leave and we call customer service and low and behold no record of delivering all four pieces. Their response now.... wait until Thursday to have the rest delivered. So now we have half of a couch and have sat here and waited and waited on these folks not just one day but three now. Unbelievable!!! I have called to speak to a manager and was on hold for over thirty min. The customer service rep just kept coming back to the phone saying she was still trying to find one. This entire process of replacing a defective sectional has now taken well over a month. If I treated my customers this way I would lose my job!!! Experts in ripping off and ignoring customers!! I moved into a new house in November 2011 and bought a ton of furniture from this store, two bedroom sets with dressers, couch and love seat, coffee table, end tables and more. The couch and love seat, although look nice and are fairly comfortable, are of really poor design and are falling apart. Already by February, the padding from the leg rests have fallen out. I called customer service, they had me take pictures and email them in. No one contacted me back. I followed up and they said they had to schedule a tech to come out and look at them. The tech came out, took pictures and said he needed to file a report and they would schedule a repair, but I would have to drive the furniture about 40 miles away, myself for a repair, otherwise they would charge $40 to pick it up. He said they would get back to me. I had to follow up with them again to learn that they needed to order the materials, ship them to me so I could deliver them with the couch to the repair facility. Again, they said they would call me back with a status. They never have They will not honor the warranty or call me back ever. I have bought a lot of pieces from the living spaces store in menifee. I went there a couple of months ago to buy a end table and a recliner, the recliner came with some scratches so they pick it up and replaced it for me now the end table was missing the end cap on one of the legs so the table sits lopsided. I have been calling the customer service office for months now and even went back to the store and asked my salesperson (Ben) if I they could give me the part off of the floor model and he informed me that they could not. I called again today because I have never received a call from customer service with a status on my part and today they tell me that the table has been discounted and they have to check and see if they can get the part and they even tried to sell me t the part and it was never on the table I paid for. The customer service rep I spoke to today was rude!!!! I asked for a manager and they were all unavailable. The sales lady was helpful. The price was fair. The good stopped there. The delivery guys threw the furniture around, actually broking a piece. I pointed it out and was told to call Customer Service and they would send another one UPS. Then he literally turned his back on me and ran off. I went into the store and asked if they had the piece. They said no. I could call in and send pictures because now it was my responsibility to PROVE that they broke it. I will never shop there again. It is a shame because they have a beautiful showroom. We just purchased a new sectional and ottoman from this store. All of the employees were extremely helpful while we were shopping and making our purchase, however, the delivery is what ruined our experience. My husband met the delivery in the afternoon while I was at work. The furniture was moved into the house and set up - everything looked great until a little later. The ottoman was delivered with a broken leg which left permanent scratches all over our bran new hardwood flooring! We are very disappointed. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING HERE. Purchased 2 leather recliners for our new house and less than a year later the seatback of the leather is worn and discolored. We went back to the store and they told us to file a claim with their main office. We did that, they asked for pictures which we provided and then received a call back stating that only the seat is actual leather and not the rest of the chairs. I have feathers coming out of every pillow, cushions look all of kilter have to fluff everything every day nothing holds it shape and my 500$ ottoman is already broke!! I walked in to look at furniture walked right by two sales people who literally were talking to each other and ignored me. I figured hey no big deal... We bought our furniture here a year ago. We also paid for the warranty. Prior to doing so, we asked if they offered scotchguarding. They said there is no need with their warranty because they will come clean anything on it and replace if it doesn't come out. So we purchased the warranty. Fast forward to 11 months later. Our sofa has a stain from WATER and our rug has other liquid stains. We filed a report which required pictures as well as detailed explanations. Today they DENIED our request and told us to clean it ourselves. We have water stains from wiping off little spills. THE WATER STAINS! I cannot understand how they can deny cleaning our furniture when that was the WHOLE purpose for purchasing the warranty. I will NEVER purchase from Living Spaces again and will make sure I share with others. We purchased the VIP warranty!!! Please look at your response?? Did you even read this!!! I have had a warranty issue with them since September 2016. Almost 7 months later and nothing has been done. I filed a complaint with the BBB and the company offered to replace the casings involved as long as I sent in the pictures of the cushions involved. I did that back on 12/22/2016, and still nothing. I even have a SO# that continues to be ignored. I sent an email in January, still nothing. I have now contacted the BBB once again to enlist their help in holding Living Spaces accountable for the furniture they sold, the warranty they sold and the items they said they would replace. I have ordered twice from them and both orders when delivered are wrong and when you call in to tell them they won't refund you shipping cost even though I paid extra for same day delivery. I had to go back into the Menifee store the next day and demand my money back for the shipping and re order the major part of the bunk bed that they did not bring and to only have them promise it was being delivered same day. Then about 8:30 pm when my order was supposed to come in guess what I get a phone call saying that the driver can not make it tonight. So now I have requested for them to just refund all my money and will never do business with this company again. read more

My in stores experience was great, but it is what happened after I ordered that makes my experience terrible. When I ordered my couch set, I was told it would arrive at the latest 14 days because it was back ordered. I purchased them on December 2, 2018 and I did not receive the first couch until the 22nd. After that I called to see when the other sofa would be in and the representative said it takes about 2-4 weeks. So I waited the four weeks and on the 29th, when I called, they still did not know when the couch would be coming in. The representative said they would send out an inquiry and they would get back to me by Monday the 31st. Never got an email or call. So today Jan 3rd, I called again and they still were not able to give me a date or time frame. I no longer have the truck I was planning on using to transport the sofas because I anticipated they would be here before the end of December, so when I asked if I could possibly be compensated with at least free delivery, I was told no. I wouldn't have had a problem waiting the 4 weeks if I was told the right information at first, but the fact that it is past the 4 weeks and I am not given any further information is upsetting. Sales people did not help AT ALL when I was looking for a desk to match my bedroom set, particularly the girl with the purple hair!

So I went over there on my lunch break and was looking for a new sofa and a recliner for our living room. I was taking pictures and sending it to my wife for approval. (Isn't that normal to get wife's approval???) Next some prick employee came over and asked it he could help. I said "no thank you I'm just browsing." (My usual response, I really was looking at prices and I'm actually in the market to buy soon, I just like to do it alone without staff hovering over me). He says " really? Because I'm been watching you for 22 minutes and all you've done is sat in a few things and looked at your phone so either You're just loitering or you're shopping competition". I was speechless. Didn't feel I needed to explain that I'm taking pictures and texting them to my wife, and that I like to try a few things. Who just walks in and buys a sofa within 20 minutes??? So I'm like "wait are you asking me to leave" and he said I needed to leave and he escorted me from the back of the store to the front. Super weird. Super awkward. And a horrible employee. So apparently if they think you're checking other prices it makes them nervous. That's a bad sign, they should be proud of their prices and not think they need to hide them. Of course I'll never go back. It is poor quality stuff and many of the sofa chairs were unstable. Ashley's furniture had much lower prices. About $700 less on a large living room sectional I liked. $2500 at living spaces and $1799 at Ashely's and felt like better quality stuff at Ashley's. Save your time. I wasn't shocked to see how horrible the reviews were for living spaces on yelp after my experience. Lots more like this one. I don't know the aggressive employees name. He had a mustache half white and half black. He lost you a sale because l don't feel like I needed to explain myself to him. Told him I was looking at protein shakes on my phone. This store stinks to the highest power! Nancy, the sales person told us that the love seat and sofa will arrived within 14 days. Well, 14 days had gone, no call, 3 weeks had passed, still no call; I've followed up several times, and they kept on saying that it is still in purchase order. I finally got fed up yesterday, 4th week of no call, and cancelled the order. The customer rep that I've talked to did not even ask why I cancelled, nor apologized for the bad service. I'm not sure if other Living Spaces stores are like this Menifee branch, but DO NOT BUY from this store! read more

I had been looking for a couch for months. I found Living Spaces to be the first place I came acorss that offered a selection of fabric choices on many of their pieces and that was in my price range. So many of the other store have "just what's on the floor" and that's the only color it comes in. I was impressed with their whole process from picking out my couch, through check-out and then delivery. Everything was well coordinated and all the employees worked together seamlessly. I will absolutely go back for any future purchases. Such a great experience! read more

Worst customer service ever. I purchased a bed frame and it was back ordered all the parts were not there. (That should have sent up red flags) but I was ok with it, a week goes by and they call telling me my bed frame is in and I can pick it up, I called to set up a time as stated on the message they left and the customer service women told me it was a mistake the bed was not ready and she would find out what happened and get back to me that night( she never called). A week goes by and no call, so I called and the bed was there I could pick it up. I get it home there are no directions and the beds not fitting together right. I called customer service and they can't get me directions but she would send a team out the next day to put it together. They were suppose to call me with a delivery time frame later that evening, they never called. The two men who showed the next morning found the headboard was the wrong size it was a queen and I needed a full. The two men just left and told me to call customer service.That's where it goes horrible wrong, I call customer service yet again and they tell me they can replace it but not until between 8pm and midnight ( this is a Sunday) I was very angry and wanted to speak to a manager. The manager basically told me how sorry he was and that was the best he could do and he kept letting me know that I didn't pay the $100 deliver fee and I'm getting that for free . They were all very dismissing and condescending. They kept making it my problem and they were going to do as little to fix it. I was told I would be put in as first delivery( meaning by 8pm) when I called to check they told me I was 3rd in line and that's the best the could do. I went to living spaces a few weeks ago to try to use a$50 credit a manager gave me and Aaron the new manager would not honor it! Beware if they give you any credit with them they are liars! They don't stand by their word!! The customer service was not good either as I had to look around for a while to find anyone to help me on the floor! Will not recommend this store to anyone and will never step foot in there ever! I am happy to say that I did make my furniture purchase at Jerome's! read more

10 years ago we purchased furniture from the ranch Cucamonga location. Never had a problem. Have now move out to this area. Good customer service in the store. They even have little carts for your to push your young children around in. Horrible delivery service and via phone service. We bought my daughter their Disney prices bed. I ordered the sparkly canopy for it. Upon delivery they almost forgot to give it to me. I had to remind them about it. Right away I could tell it wasn't what I ordered. I told the delivery guy it wasn't what i ordered and to take it back. He refused and said I had to call customer service and talk to them. I called customer service and they said I could take in to the store or email them a picture of the item so they could see if in reality it wasn't what I ordered. I emailed them a picture. They called me back and said it was what I ordered and could either keep it or bring back to the store for my cash back. I told them it WAS NOT what was on display. Their answer "we work at corporate office not that location. I'm not sure what they have on display but it is the ONLY canopy we sale and have on file". I said I would take it in to store and talk to someone there. The catch I only had 7 days from delivery date to take in. They had delivered on a Wednesday. I sent picture in Thursday. They called me back Monday. I only had 2 days to make it into the store. When i asked if i could get a few more days to take in they said no. On Tuesday I took in to the store. Guest what? It was the wrong item. The people at the store were really friendly about it and exchanged it for me. But my bad experience with their telephone service put me off from going there again. My sister is remodeling her house and asked where she should go (since i had been furniture shopping and had visited all the local stores). I told her anywhere BUT living spaces in Menifee. We wanted a new sofa sleeper couch for our RV but was not sure it would fit. We asked the sales rep what their return/exchange policy was. She told us if we brought the item back and exchanged it for something else it would be 5% and if I wanted a refund it would be 10% charge. Since they did not have the couch in stock and would have to be brought from the warehouse I told her I would go ahead and pay for it now but go home to measure and make sure it would fit and if it was too big I would call and change the order to the smaller couch before picking it up. The couch was going to be too big so I called to change the order to the smaller couch. The lady on the phone told me that would be a 5% fee! I totally get it if I had taken the couch home and then wanted to bring it back to exchange for another one but I have not even received anything yet!!!!! This is BS!!!!! I was never told it would be 5% fee to exchange even though I had not received the item yet. The lady on the phone says it was in the paperwork I signed when I paid for the couch. I signed the paperwork based on what the sales lady told me. She said NOTHING about 5% fee for changing the order BEFORE I even received anything. WHO DOES THAT!!!! read more
