We went into this store after finding a piece we liked on the website. The store had the piece on their show room floor and we were able to compare to other pieces as well. Excellent service, and great patience with our inability to decide halfway through the sale. Information about the service plans was great, and the price was great (we have three kids under 5, service plan was a MUST). It took a bit longer than I would have liked to check out, but I don't think any of that could have been avoided considering we were setting up a delivery date & time and applying for credit. I would give them 0 stars if it was possible. Worst customer service ever!!!!1st order i placed said would be delivered 2-3 weeks. At the end of 3 weeks I called and they tell me the fabric is on back order. I asked shouldn't some one have called me to let me know? Managers response we don't do that. I asked when will it be in stock? They said 2 more weeks. 3 month later i get the couch after have to threaten with a lawsuit. 2nd Order (didn't want to order again due to last experience but we needed a matching chair) told 2-3 week, (HA HA) 4 weeks later I get to set up delivery. Husband and I went in on June 28th to look at mattresses and bed frames. We found the things we loved so we ordered it. We were told the latest we would receive our order was 10 days. I just called yesterday and customer service had told me our bed frame was the only one left to receive and that it was in Rialto waiting to be unloaded and that between 1-2 days we should receive a call to schedule delivery.My husband calls today and they tell him our bed frame is in Arizona! They had to return it because damage was done. Wow we are so upset because now we have to wait to receive our order until July 18! Called corporate to get more information about a motor for my electric recliner because the store of purchase sent me an email stating allow 8-10 weeks for the part. Took almost an hour to get some on the phone, William was his name. Would only give me PO number for the part ordered would not give me a point of contact for Flexsteel, had to google there corporate number. Warranty service took two weeks to even come out and look at the problem now looking at having a piece of funiture that is not usable! Called Corporate Flexsteel will not even answer questions to the consumer. Told I should allow 10 - 12 weeks for the motor as it has to come from China. What horrible companies to do business with! I even told corporate I had the P.O. # from the store of purchase that they sent to Flex Steel she would not even assist in looking for a better receipt date! read more

I did, however, choose my couch somewhere even though they had a great selection but the bed selections were great, they have really cool coffee tables, rustic furniture, and same day delivery! I had a great experience when I purchased a couch, chair, and ottoman.I had everything delivered yesterday. It took a couple weeks cause everything was special order. I was able to decide the fabric and color of the furniture, cushions, and pillows. The designed Amy provided great feedback as being a guy had no idea what I was doing. When chairs arrived next day, staff noticed one was damaged beyond repair and called me letting me know. I had the worst experience ever. Customer service is not very friendly at all. I spent a lot on my new sofas and it has not even been a year. One of the tops of the recliner completely snapped off. The couch looks brand new still and has no soil marks, no tears and they are denying my warranty claim saying it is dirty and torn, when it is not. I still have to pay a lot of money for a piece of crap couch that would not even last a year. There warranty process is terrible. I will never purchase from living spaces again. I thought they had better made product, but I guess I was wrong. I even purchased an extended warranty, for what? Do not shop here. Save your money. read more

The couch is falling apart. contacted LSF and was told "Sorry , but floor models have no warranties whatsoever." Found out couch was made by Parker House Furniture, and that Parker house will not stand behind their manufacture's warranty because Living Spaces won't put in a claim. $2500.00 down the drain, do yourself a favor, spend a little more and get quality stuff. I would not recommend this furniture store to purchase anything furniture. My senior parents purchased two sofa beds special order. The delivery was delayed by weeks. After delivery we noticed both sofas seemed to be tilting forward & the frame for the bed was making the seat cushions sit a bit to high. You could see the bed frame. I called for service, that was a joke. Finally guy came out & adjusted( he also had a bit of trouble). Same week one sofa went back to the same tilt & could see bed frame where seat cushions should cover. Second sofa eventually the frame for bed collapsed & rests on floor. Cushions get tucked down in when sat in. The bolts have cracked the wood. Customer service was incredibly bad. Now they said we didn't purchase warranty. They would not send anyone out to look & repair again. Ive sent pictures to the main office along with phone calls. They would not follow up. It was to late to purchase warranty ( had to be done at time of purchase) These were not cheap inexpensive sofas. I would not ever purchase from them !! read more

I've shopped Living Spaces before but not this particular store. I went in on 9/6/17 and ordered a dining room table and chairs, sofa and love seat, settie, sofa tables, tv credenza and a curio cabinet. So I ordered s ton of stuff. Delivery was set for 2 weeks because of the custom sofas. When they arrived the love seat was in the right color but the sofa was not. They gave me the excuse that it was in the warehouse and they would bring it by the following Saturday. Saturday they delivered the same wrong sofa. Again, it's in the warehouse and they'll bring it by in a week. A week passes by and they bring back the same wrong sofa!!!! I did speak with the office and we went over the information each time. They promised they would bring the right color sofa next time but after four attempts I told them to just cancel the order and pick up the love seat. They scheduled a pick up yesterday. They never came by. Never again Living Spaces. Such bad service. I hope your experience is better because I doubt it can be worse. read more

This living spaces will tell you 3-4 weeks to get your order. 9 weeks later you'll get a email saying you can schedule delivery. THEN they have the audacity to charge you more for a day faster delivery, as if you haven't already waited 9 weeks. After being on hold for an hour at a time multiple times, customer service will not help you. If you email socialmedia@livingspaces.com, they will basically tell you "tough luck" and tell you to go ahead and cancel the order if you don't want to wait. They also put the blame on you for the late order. Saying that "our employees told you it would take this long" WHEN THEY NEVER DID. They do not resolve the conflict at all and are so rude!!!! They do NOT care about their customers and offer no help or solution when it comes to a VERY DELAYED order. I will never shop at living spaces again. I recommend everyone do the same. They offer no discounts for anything late either. I can't believe this company is still in business. WORST COMPANY IVE EVER DEALT WITH. read more

Furniture was great, but if you buy something it has to be even adding more than you should've buying. That is not the case with other furniture stores I have dealt with. And the number one thing that I was very upset was they do not tell you what time frame that they deliver that you are paying for also till day before, was never explained anything about delivery before you sign. UPDATE 6/21/14 After going around and around with a new representative at the corporate office I still don't have the part I need to put my sofa back together. I called last week to check on the status of the order of my feather liner and learned that it had just been shipped on 6/12! The only reason it was even ordered is because I called to check up on it. So I spoke with Roger who assured me that HE was the guy to help me and he could get this issue taken care of once and for all. He canceled the order and had the bright idea to take a cushion liner out of one of the display couches and send it right to me. I don't know why nobody thought of that in the first place. Good idea in theory but of course they sent the WRONG THING! I opened it up this morning and it was a bag full of green fluff. I have told several representatives in that office what I need and I know that it states what I need in the many notes in my file. When I called to speak with him he asked me to send pictures of what I need because I guess that's the only way he could figure it out. He had a bad attitude, stating that he speaks with a hundred people a day so I can't expect him to follow up with me or make sure that things I order and pay for actually get to me. He also said that Living Spaces didn't put the animal on the sofa and it wasn't their fault that it messed up the cushion. I obviously don't blame them for the accident, but I do blame them for their awful customer service for the 3 months following it. Salesman was great...furniture selection was great. Then all down hill from there. Purchased furniture on Sunday for Monday delivery. Was told we would get a call Sunday with a delivery window no call. Delivery did show on Monday but they were missing a piece of the couch and end tables were damaged. Wanted to leave the end tables here and have them repaired. What? Refused that. Was told they would return with a complete set and all new end tables between 8pm-midnight. Again said would call with a more exact delivery window. Never called. Never showed. Living Spaces has the worst costumer service my wife and I have ever encountered. Ordered a three piece living room set (couch/love/chaise) back on 6-14-14. They dropped the love seat out of the truck according to a neighbor. There was a tear and a popping noise that accompanied the love seat when we went to sat in it. It took 2 weeks to get the set and we were very happy with that, but after noticing the defects it took another 6 weeks to get the fabric to match which was delivered to our house. We were told to call Living Spaces to come pick up the love seat once we got the fabric. Drivers came, fabric was handed off to them, and 2 weeks later we received a call that they lost the fabric. Now the love seat will not be repaired and returned for another 6 weeks. For what it's worth, we should have clued in when the sales lady said they deliver 7 days a week. We had to set the delivery up when they called to say it's ready. then they told us the don't deliver Sat-Monday! read more

On Nov 14, we went to check out their selection of recliners and immediately found an entire living room set that my wife and I both actually agreed on - it was love at first sight! That's rare! We bought it and the wife found tables and a lamp to boot. We are very happy with the entire experience. Even the delivery company was prompt, efficient and professional. Four stars instead of five because a sales floor rep was in "my" face from the moment we walked in. My husband purchased a chair and a half. We went to pick it up and the fabric on one said was loose and saggy and the front of the chair had a white spot on it (the fabric is black). We refused to take the chair and requested they made a new one. The manager said he would take $50 off the original chair which we refused. He reluctantly agreed to pay 50% of the delivery charge. However, when calling the store today (04162016) we spoke with what sounded like a young female who slurred her words and was hard to understand. She said they couldn't deliver the chair after all and made up some sort of story that the chair would have to go back and be "recreated" and sent back to their warehouse. None of it made any sense at all. I immediately asked for the manager. She put me on hold and said they could deliver it on Tuesday after all. What terrible service. Seriously people...if you are thinking of purchasing any item from Living Spaces, make sure you are home the entire day of delivery and don't expect any customer service. We purchased bunk beds Sun night, with a delivery of Tues between 8-3. Our fault fot not noting the time would conflict with Isaiah's school. When we called to inform them that 12-3 would not work, and could we be the last stop, we were hung up on, lied to and then told fine, we can change to Wed. If we aren't here within 15 min, they take it back and we get charged a 2nd fee. We weren't asking for much, make us the last stop. I made sure the notes said all this and was assured it would be Wed. They just called and are delivering today, because ,quoting the driver, "it was on the truck and I didn't know if we wanted it today." We will never purchase from them again! Let me start by saying the manager at living spaces in Menifee is awesome and we really appreciate him. BUT! we ordered a bed and mattress they told us we are on schedule between 6-12 cool so 8 rolls around we call living spaces and they tells us we weren't even on schedule! So while we are on the phone the customer service was horrible they would hang up on us threaten to hang up because we wanted our order that we had already paid for. After we get on schedule for the next day they show up but don't have all the parts and tell us that we should get the rest of our parts in two weeks. Two weeks go by we get a phone call and set up a day for them to come out they show up and cannot put our bed together because they don't have the bolts that they were supposed to leave here the first time so we call and talk to them AGAIN and they tell us that these bolts are special bolts that come with the bed so if the guys threw the box away they have to order a whole new bed! We hang up then they calls us again and tell us that they are having a new bed delivered the next day well we know how this goes so I guess we will see if they really do what they claim . This is ridiculous/horrible if I could give zero stars I definitely would . We will never do business with this place again and I encourage anyone else to stay away also. read more

I have dealt with the Menifee store on several occasions as a customer and also as part of their community support efforts. The staff was fabulous under both circumstances, the furniture was great and reasonably prices and delivery was quick and uncomplicated. I also like the fact that they styling of their furniture is modern and looks more expensive than than they have priced it. I have nothing but praise for the customer experience. They also sponsored our college on a couple of theater productions and were very generous and helpful to us. Again, I have nothing but praise for their support of the local community. read more

UPDATE 1/24/18: my husband convinced to me give them one more shot at a sofa purchase. I hesitated......UNBELIEVABLE! I did receive my sofa in the 3 weeks time BUT when I got home to put it together, 1: don't have enough legs and 2: 4 of them don't even go with this sofa. I call them of course and they set up a claim with warranty that I have to email pics for..... pics can't be downloaded to the email. Have to call again. So pissed! Asked when I can get legs to a sofa that I can't even use...."sorry we can't give you an answer" HOW IS IT EVEN POSSIBLE THEY ARE STILL IN BUSINESS???!!! I believe if you are going to offer custom designs the information shared should be accurate. The contract I signed for our sofa was 2-3 weeks wait time. It's now 3 weeks and no word on our sofa and when we called the store they said "well we can't tell you anything right now, we don't contact the manufacturer until 4 weeks." Seriously?! Why not just tell us 4 weeks then so you don't have unhappy customers. The contract lies..... I'm not sure what the purpose of it is honestly. I would've welcomed another week waiting time but that's horrible business and we didn't plan that amount of time and will be out of town. So they said I have 48 hr to pick up from store one it's finished or they ship it back to the manufacture. Ridiculous because of their misinformation I now will be waiting even longer because I didn't plan on a 4 week wait. Came in to buy a bed set. Got the next day delivery for them to order the wrong size bed. I go into the store next day and order the right one. They tell me I have to pay for delivery and the restocking fee. EVEN THO THEY ARE THE ONES WHO MESSED UP. So we choose to pick up the bed our selves. Wow, Im not surprised at the reviews at all... If I could give NO Stars I would. My experience with Living Spaces pertains the their so called "VIP" 5 year warranty that their Salespeople try to push on Customers.. My Family and I went into the Menifee CA location, My Wife and 5 year old Son and 3 year old daughter.. I had located a $2000 sectional sofa that would work in our Living Room. This was the largest purchase I have made on a single piece of furniture as well as my Wife.. We were greeted by a female Saleslady, In my case she didn't need to sell me on anything cause I already knew the Sofa I wanted, but she definitely noticed my kids and went into Action telling us how we absolutely needed to purchase the 5 year VIP Warranty to protect our purchase from all the Mishaps of having kids, she explained that it would cover anything and everything, her exact words were like if we purchased a Brand New car a bumper to bumper warranty if you will. I normally don't purchase Extended service contracts or Warranties but the fact this was such a large purchase and wanted to keep the sofa a solid 6 years or so we decided to buy the VIP Warranty. Fast forward a few years we had an "incident" this past Memorial Day with my Son now 8. One of the cushions on the Sectional was punctured by him... Of course the shock of him doing this was one thing, but then I had a Ray of Hope remembering the Warranty that was purchased for the Child Mishaps as I was told from the Living Spaces Saleswoman. I thoroughly read the Warranty and their Terms of Services. And found under line 5 under the Leather Upholstery Furniture "Any puncture, cut, tear, and rip from specific incident." Well guess What Living Spaces what happened to the Cushion of my Sectional was a "Specific Incident" and a Puncture, a cut , a tear and rip all occurred. Plus you instructing your Salespeople to Prey on Hard Working Americans with Children to sell these VIP Care Plans to, with the belief that the Mishaps or Incidents involving Children will be covered. I opened a Claim with a Detailed Description of the Incident, Their Salesperson's tactics as well as the Terms of Service.. This claim was denied of course, I was contacted by another Female (I won't name her but Living Spaces sure know her name) she indicated our claim was denied but could not give me any logical reason or explanation as to why..?? she had a tremble in her voice where as she probably makes several calls to people with Claims making the initial denial to the Customer.. She had zero confidence in her tone or manner. I politely asked to speak to a Manager where a Gentleman got on the phone and said to email my Name, Warranty Info, Phone # to be contacted as they will review and make a Final decision. I received this Decision today 6/9 but not my phone instead it was via email. Whats a matter Living Spaces is your conscience getting the best of you, so much you don't even have the courtesy to telephone a previous Customer who $2200+ with you.. I wonder how much I would have to spend to get a phone call.. Or if all your Denials of claims just come via email and on a Friday Afternoon?? My claim falls in line with your Terms of Service, Need I remind you, that you wrote these Terms not me.. I would love to see the ratio of Approved repair claims versus Denied Claims within your Company. Im certain they are skewed in your favor. Bottom line is DO NOT BUY THEIR VIP CARE PLAN, as they will not honor any claim.. You might as well take $169.00 (cost of the Plan I paid for) and flush it down the toilet. I will close with this, Living Spaces is the real loser here.. They could have had a customer (ME) for LIFE if my completely valid claim would have been met. 1st rule of any successful business if you take CARE of your customers... and Guess What They will come back!! and continue to spend money with you!! Living Spaces either never bothered to learn this or simply don't care.. Regardless they showed me who they truly are and will never get a cent from me again. Based on their 2 out 5 stars here on Yelp, other People feel the same.. Shame on you. read more
