I am a relatively new customer with Living Spaces. I have been in this store twice. The second time, I purchased a queen size bed. There were no real problems with the bed, other than the hardware to put the bed together broke, but I managed to get the bed put together. While in the Summerlin store, I looked at some dressers and chest of drawers. Loved the quality! Fast forward, I bought the dresser online and scheduled the delivery. Item delivere. However, I didn't open or inspect the drawers before the delivery people left. The drawers are lined with felt, awesome! The bottom left drawer felt has a large rip in 1 spot and gauged in 3 additional areas. I contacted customer service the same day. I was offered a partial refund of $79 on a $900 dresser or have it repaired under warranty. I chose to have the repair done. Two weeks before the repair could be schedule. Great! Please submit photos of the damage, done. Repair person shows up to repair the drawer, not. He immediately states he can't fix it, took more pictures and got attitude and left when I asked why did he come. I reached back out to the customer service representative that was extremely helpful and explained the current issue. She managed to get the company to replace the dresser. This doesn't make sense but ok. However, when I contact customer service about the replacement I am told that they will deliver a new dresser but will not take back the damaged dresser, that would be my responsibility. I asked if I could just keep the damaged dresser and get a refund since they were not going to take the damaged dresser back. I was told that is not an option. I DON'T WANT 2 DRESSERS and I don't feel that I should be responsible for getting rid of the damaged piece. This is ridiculous and needless to say I am NOT a satisfied customer. Do NOT shop here! The store is huge with a great selection but the quality is crap and doesn't last a year. Have been through 2 of the same dining room tables in the first 3 months and finally just ask for a refund, which took a month and at least 10 phone calls and a trip to the store to finally receive my money. Now here we are 13 mos later and my coffee and console table are separating and you can see unfinished wood in the cracks. I filed a claim with VIP (the extended warranty we purchased for $268) and were denied because they technician says it's from excessive water damage! These tables have never seen water and are only dusted with a swiffer. Now I guess I am suppose to spend hours trying to dispute this. Something that they can probably make right in 20 minutes with some matching stain. read more

Update - the new table set we got has all the chairs tearing from the cushion where it means the back piece at the corners and the table warps very easily. Quality is obviously not a priority to Living Spaces. We could do the warranty on the chairs but it is pointless because the way it is designed it will do it again. We came in looking for a dinning room set, a coffee table and pictures. We found a nice birdie pic but it won't fit into the car. Having to have it shipped would definitely increase the cost of the picture by $100.00 so it doesn't make sense having it shipped. Their warranty service sucks. They delivered a couch with a nail sticking out of the frame which damaged the cushion and now I have a hole. The warranty service said it's not covered. Then living spaces doesn't even sell replacement cushions or covers so there's no way to replace a brand new cushion. I'm so over poor customer service. I paid $1700 for the couch, waited over 4 months for it. It was delivered damaged and it's not covered. Mind blown! I'll never buy from here again. read more

Horrible experience getting a couch delivered in the promised time window. Came damaged. And was replaced which took another couple weeks. We ordered in June, got our undamaged couch in October. In store customer service is fine but they will say anything you want to hear. It was very terrible ordeal. Now we are on 1 month of waiting for dining chairs that ARE NOT even custom. Why would it take so long for non custom chairs to be shipped. They say it is not in their factory...SO WHY IS IT DISPLAYED ON THE FLOOR AND AVAILABLE ONLINE....And the sales person said max 3-4 weeks....Save yourself the time and ordeals by going to another furniture store with better delivery services and won't lie to you in your face. read more

I am so disappointed in this company. I purchased a $3,000 Couch and some other stuff. My first delivery experience was awful. My couch arrived 3 hours AFTER my driver called and said he was on his way. After waiting for an hour after call, I called driver to see where he was. He began pushing me to voicemail and not answer the phone. Upon delivery of my items, one leg on my couch was 2 inches shorter than the rest. A rug I ordered was supposed to take 8 days; It took 6 weeks to receive. Upon redelivery of my REPLACEMENT couch, I asked the guys to be careful not to hit my BRAND NEW (6 WEEKS OLD, BTW) $800 ceiling fan. They proceeded to hit my fan and severely damage it, breaking off a blade. The response I got was they would try to get it fixed. I want it REPLACED. it's brand new. The comment I received back was it was like buying a car, once you drive it off the lot, its subject to damage.....oh, well, my ceiling fan is on the damn ceiling, not out driving around. NO COMPARISON. The kicker is they tried to get me to sign something prior to them bringing anything in, that if they damage something, they are not responsible. SO UNPROFESSIONAL AN ORGANIZATION!!! That was August 2020, it's almost a year later, 13 different reps I've spoken with and even spoke to the living spaces claims service (they outsource the warranty the push so hard on you to get). I have been a customer of living spaces for about 6 years. I have spent over 8k with them in that time. I have never had a problem with their products or the service in general. I have also always recommended living spaces to friends or family looking for furniture. I purchased a new sofa set in late November. I received the chair right away and the ottoman in late December (4 weeks!) It is now mid January and I have no sofa. Twice I have been told the sofa was being delivered, to have in not actually even at the warehouse the morning of "delivery". I was originally told it would take a max of 2-4 weeks to receive everything. I've went into the store once and they took off my $99 delivery fee, that's it. I've spoken to customer service on numerous occasions. Every time, I have been told that a manager will call me that day or the next day to make things right. The last time I spoke to customer service was 2 days ago, and I was told a manager would call me that day, still no call. 3 separate occasions I've been told I would receive a phone call from a manager and no one has contacted me. It seems that they do not have the proper people in place to handle the new Las Vegas store and they are about to lose a loyal customer over it. I am at the point where i am about to just have them pick up what they've delivered so far and shop somewhere else. read more

I came in today to buy a couch, I got approved for a LS credit card and that was going to be the method of payment. I current do not have an ID and I cannot get one due to covid. I have been using my Mexican passport as identification everywhere I go and no one has turned me down due to not have an actual ID. When I went to pay for the couch a WHITE woman would not accept my passport as identification. I got the credit card JUST so I could purchase this couch from living spaces and I am very disappointment that this woman turned me down. If you are looking for any type of furniture or decoration I strongly suggest to go elsewhere. Buyer beware!!! Their adjustment to order policies will leave you frustrated and take more money from you. I went into this store and received nice service from Vina the sales person. She helped me to pick just the right sofa ensemble. My enjoyable experience ended there. I made my purchase at 4:22 PM on Sunday 11/26/17 and had until 8:00pm to make any changes or cancelation to my order. Also I would be charged a 25% restocking fee. On Monday 11/27/17 I went back to store with my new carpet sample to make sure sofa color would be compatible. It was not compatible. I spoke with Vina and she suggested I just buy a throw rug to break up and throw contrast. I just wanted to change color on sofa and it had been less than 24 hrs since order was placed. She reminded me that a 25% restocking fee would be charged. All I wanted was a color change not a cancelation. There is no policy as to adjustment, just cancelation. After giving this more thought as a General Manger for a local business, I know that if a customer wanted to change color, I would accommodate. I can't believe that the Customer service department would not do a simple color change. They informed me that the order had already gone to their Vendor. I can assure you that the sofa was not being processed in less than 24 hrs especially on a partial weekend. I don't believe that a call to the Vendor ( if the Vendor had started process), to see if they could simply make a color change. I felt this was not out of line or too much to ask. Corporate office did call me back and the Customer Service agent repeatedly tried to talk over me stating their unfortunate policies. She informed me that unfortunately she would have to charge me $450.00 to cancel order and reorder the sofa with a different color. So I felt compelled to write this review because what would have been a simple color correction to the order would have been the correct thing to do. Instead Living Spaces has lost a future customer. After seeing all the negative reviews on here, it appears that is the norm. This is actually the first negative review I have ever written on Yelp. We were then stopped by this rude and not very friendly worker person who begins to tell us we can not in and will have to wait 15 minutes. He is behind this huge plexiglass structure with 3 vertical holes to take our temperature before we can go into this empty store. We went in after feeling like we'd been violated. So disappointed in my purchase. I bought a relatively inexpensive recliner for my recovery chair after breast cancer surgery. I wanted something comfortable since I would probably be in the chair the majority of the day. I didn't notice the problem at first but as time went on and my pain medication lessened, my back began to hurt because I was favoring one side all the time. Turns out that the seat is lower on one side. I called customer service after owning the chair approximately three months. They asked that I send pics which I did. After a couple of weeks, I heard nothing so I called for a status update. They said that they approved a technician to come out but I would have to pay the $95 technician charge first. So, Living Spaces sells me a POS recliner and I have to pay them? I even asked to speak to someone else which I did. They wouldn't budge. We bought a mattress in May 2018. Come November 2019, our mattress started sinking. We called Living Spaces and paid the $99 for the mattress inspection. They told us it would be 2-3 business days. A week later, we had not heard anything. Called again. They said they forgot to submit our order. The next appointment they had was 3 weeks out. By this time it was over a month ago we had paid for the mattress inspection. Fast forward to our inspection apppointment, it was discovered our mattress was sinking 1 1/8 inch. The inspector told us we would hear from Living Spaces within a few days. A week later, we still didn't hear anything. We called and were hung up on multiple times because they had a "phone issue". Not one of these times did someone ever call us back. We asked for a manager 5x and to no surprise, they were not available. We finally got a manager after multiple attempts. She advised us they were going to replace our box springs. It did not make any sense at all. The box springs were in good condition. It was the mattress that was sinking. We had the mattress less than 2 years and it was sinking 1 1/8 inch!! The manger told us that if replacing the box springs did not fix it, we would have to pay another $99 for them to come out and reinspect our mattress. WOW- what logic!? They called the day before bringing the box springs, just to confirm the address. They had the WRONG address. They had been given the correct address mulitple times over the phone but failed to tell us that in order to make any changes we had to physically go into the store. We ended up going to the store to change the address only to deal with someone that apparently hated her job as a customer service rep. The entire process has been HORRIBLE. You would think for a "warranty" you would get better service. If I had to do it all over again, I would have never bought a thing from Living Spaces in the first place. read more

This place is a joke. I purchased a kitchen table and chairs from them. Within a few months the table - which is rarely used started to bubble and peel on the top in multiple areas. I waited but it continued to get worse. I submitted a claim to the warranty department. They said they'd get back to me within 48 hours. Weeks later I heard back. The rep on the phone was rude, she started reviewing the claim and pictures with me on the phone and told me they wouldn't cover the claim as it is not a manufacturer's defect. She said that just because I scraped the table doesn't make it defective. I told her that she can't be looking at the right pictures as the pictures I sent clearly show how it's bubbling. She said they're not covering it. I asked what the point of a warranty is when they won't cover the items they sell. She told me that I purchased it last June so I've had it a while. I bought a sectional couch here, told it would arrive in 2-3 weeks. It came over a month later. When it did arrive, there was a snag and stain on it which we are in the process of getting an exchange for. What is disappointing is the fact that after just a few days, I started to notice pilling. This is not something patting off or lint rolling would fix. It's stuck on. So I would pluck off one by one the individual pieces sticking all over the couch. This works only if you have time every day of your life to just sit and pick off hundreds of pieces of lint. I plan on keeping my furniture for at least 5 years after purchase (which to me is a reasonable duration), so the fact that the quality is that bad, right off the bat, is not acceptable. So I went to the store asking for my options of what I could do, including but not limited to, getting a refund. They said we would have to take a 25% hit if we were to get a refund or order a different one. Wow. The couch is a couple thousand dollars, that means I lose at least $500. I honestly feel ripped off. So, if you're looking for at least decent quality furniture- do not come here. read more

Don't let their show room and sales people take away from their shady business practices. I went in on 10/29/17, and spent $2100 on a kids bedroom furniture set. They let me know that it would be 8 days to get the bed frame in from the warehouse in California and shipped to Las Vegas for delivery. I agreed because 2 weeks is a reasonable amount of time. They let me know the latest my furniture would be delivered would be 11/9. I agreed and went ahead with the purchase. 11/9 came and went and there was no communication as to the status of my order. On Saturday 11/11/17, I called their customer service department. They were extremely unprofessional. The lady I spoke with let me know they had already received multiple calls regarding furniture not coming in but she would reach out to the purchasing department again today. She put me on hold for a few minutes and came back to let me know that they aren't there on Saturday's. It made no sense that she told me that she had already had been in contact with them on Saturday, but for my concerns, they were out of the office. I requested someone call me on Monday with an update since I was calling and asking for the status of my order. Monday, 11/13, comes and goes with no phone calls or emails. On Tuesday, 11/14, I call back. I speak to a customer service rep who lets me know that the emailed the purchasing department and that they are waiting on the shipment to come in. I ask for an estimated time and was met with resistance. I asked her to call the purchasing department and was told no, because they already emailed them. I explained to her that I absolutely understand that, but not having a estimated time is not acceptable since I've already spent $2100 and have no idea when I can expect my furniture. I ask to speak with a manager and again was placed on hold. The same person came back and let me know that they were no managers were available. I was put on hold again and she finally contacted the purchasing department. I was informed my order, that was promised in 8 days, would not be in for another 2-4 weeks. The entire time, the customer service rep was rude and condescending. I get delays in shipments, but that should have been communication. A simple phone call or email to update me would have left me informed. When I confirmed it would h 6+ weeks for my furniture, I asked for a refund. A refund was immediately issued. I'm still without furniture. Living Spaces lost a customer for life. I was ready to go and buy a sofa set but after this, I will find it some where else. read more

Honestly, I work in casino marketing, and I have never met a sales person that contours your needs such as he does. He can sell ice to an Eskimo with zero buyer's remorse, so the saying goes. He makes you feel like your best friend went furniture shopping with you one random day, and gets equally as excited about designing your vision for your space. From finding innovative ways to get you EXACTLY what you want, to staying alongside you through the entire process. He is there every step of the way. Oh Yelpers, I should have listened to your warnings and reviews. I would give more stars because their selection is good and varied but the customer service is extremely poor. Shockingly poor. With so many furtniture stores in town and online, I'll have to agree with my fellow Yelpers and say go elsewhere. My husband and I went in on a Sunday in search for a large area rug. I had already looked at several stores in town and I avoided this store because of the poor reviews but I was starting to get desperate because the rest of furniture was being delivered Monday and I wanted the rug or possibly 2-3 rugs in first. I came prepared to spend around $1000. We entered the store and there were some customers browsing but it's a huge store so it didn't seem busy at all. There was no one at the Information Booth and no sales staff near the front so we wandered around until we found the rug section. We then browsed and compared for 45 minutes without seeing a single staff member. I thought that's strange, every other furniture store in town, someone greets you or helps you right away. After making some decisions on our own (wishing there was someone around to ask some questions to) we tracked down a staff member and her device and let her know we wanted to purchase a $500 rug, meanwhile I started browsing the furniture and found a $250 coffee table and $150 end tables I wanted to buy as well. When I made it back to the rug section, my husband told me that the employee said the rug was on back order and would take 2-3 weeks to get in. She was nowhere to be found so we tracked her down again and asked if we could buy the as-is version that was hanging, she said no. I told her that I found the exact same rug on the floor as a display model, can we buy that one? She said she'd ask a manager... came back and said no. Disappointed, we went back to the drawing board and started browsing again. In the meantime, I told her I wanted to purchase the coffee table and end table, possibly 2 end tables on the other end of the store. I pointed to where they were and showed her the picture on my phone. She made zero attempt to help me, she pretty much just ignored the request. It was bizarre. I'm trying to give you $400-$600. Back at my rug search, low and behold I found the exact rug that we had tried to buy that was on back order hanging there and it was a little less soft and shiny with no visible tag. Again, we tracked down the staff member and pointed out the rug and said we wanted to know the price and if we could buy this one today. She had to call a member of the "brand" team who came over and that's when the interaction got even more strange! The "brand" team member made no eye contact with me and would only talk to the other employee. I asked a few questions and she intentionally looked away from me and answered the employee. What is happening? After making another call, they finally told me that the rug was As-Is and was $400. Although I thought a floor model that was visibly worn compared to the new one should have been discounted less than a $100, again I was desperate so I said ok, we'll take it and the coffee table and end table. The brand member who lacked all customer service skills then told the employee, again completely ignoring me, that there was 12 people ahead of me and it would be 2-2 1/2 hours to get the rug down. I said well that's not going to work, we got a babysitter and borrowed a truck to buy this stuff, is there anything you can do? No, there's 12 people ahead of you. I was visibly distraught knowing that we just wasted an hour and a half and had to leave empty handed, the brand team member walked away and the other employee just said for the 4th or 5th time, there's nothing I can do. We left with no other choice to keep looking. Luckily we found exactly what we needed at HomeGoods and although that store was so busy, we were in and out with a our giant rug in 20 minutes! From my experience, I'm assuming that Living Spaces must have some sort of customer service policy where their staff is not commissioned and therefore doesn't care about making a sale but it was extremely frustrating as a customer. The furniture and rugs were nice but we definitely won't return or recommend Living Spaces. Additionally, perhaps considering staffing up on the weekends or re-working your pick up process so you're not telling customers sorry, nothing we can do when they are trying to spend their hard-earned money in your store. read more

At first I liked the store. Had a pretty great selection and the staff was very low pressure. Then it all went to Hell. Found a great reclining sofa and love seat set and a dining table. the dining table was in stock (floor model) and the salesperson told me my couches would be delivered in 3 weeks as they were back ordered. We arranged to have the table and the sofas delivered at the same time, and I would just make do without furniture in my new house for a few weeks. After waiting for a call for a month and still no call about my furniture, I called and spoke to a horribly rude customer service agent who told me I was out of luck and I could not have my dining table that has been sitting in their warehouse for over a month delivered early since I had already arranged to have it delivered with my sofas (which she has no idea when will be delivered, just that they aren't ready yet.) After being so rude and practically yelling at me on the phone when I was trying to be courteous, she hung up on me. So here I am stuck without furniture. I finally called back again later and found out the sofas are in now (never received a call to tell me that!), but that they cannot deliver them until October. So I will have been without furniture for 2 months. They did not offer me any kind of discount for my inconvenience, only a stupid $50 gift card for their store that I will never use because I will never step foot in a Living Spaces ever again after this horrible experience. I am very seriously considering calling back and getting a refund since this had been so terrible. Stay away. read more

Love my new recliner! Glides, swivels, adjustable headrest and a battery pack good for 300 reclines. They are consultants not sales people! No pressure to buy, just educate you on the products. Of course they love it when you do buy! LOL Had delivery problems after a corporate software change over but back to A-1 service now. read more

They have some cool designs, but the quality is awful. We bought a sofa about 6 months ago, and the fabric is piling and looks years old. We paid for the extra warranty, but the piling is not covered. Really disappointed with the quality and the customer service. I can't wait for Crate & Barrel to get to town. read more
