I contacted the business via text and the owner got back to me very quickly about the problem I had with our irrigation system. He introduced himself and said he would be able to take a look and let us know how he could help. Home is newer to us, but built 20 years ago - system had obvious leaks and over time plants had died and it appeared we were randomly watering spots in the desert surrounding our home. David came out with an assistant and took a deep dive look into our system and while it was not great news in that it was a bigger task than I would have liked, I understood that leaking valves and old tubing needed replacing. He was able to quickly turn it on. He also spent some time to educate me on the different drip settings of our system and was nice enough to go through all the different setting on the system with me. these guys are great; they haven't started the job yet but I have full faith and confidence in them and will finish the review later. My sprinkler system was installed (by a different company) 20 years ago and the poly tubes were wearing out all over the place. I got tired of digging up old poly piping and patching it and repairing it. Plus, there were so many leaks in the backyard that I could no longer use the system. Dave came out and gave me a quick estimate (emailed to me) after inspecting the property. After getting several other estimates, I chose Living Waters because it was clear that their company was head and shoulders above the competition in terms of the repiping plan and related matters. One company wanted a huge amount of money and the plan that they were going to use was, in my opinion, sort of absurd. On the other hand, the estimate I got from Dave was reasonable and I let him know that I would use his company. I was happy to learn that he could come to my large property with his crew several days later. Well Dave and his crew were out on Monday and did a fantastic job. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to completely repipe my entire front and backyard in a single day. Plus, he upgraded the control valves from the cheap ones I was using to Irritrol (major upgrade) and replumbed the entire valve box beginning with the point where the water first enters the valve box area. I was out there watching and taking photos of the entire job while it was being done. The Living Waters crew was incredibly skilled at their job. Dave's son was a member of the crew and he was helping to assure that everything was done according to specifications. These people are a highly experienced group who know all the fine points of getting the job done so it will be durable and outlast just about any other type of piping system I could have had installed. Moreover, they made sure that all major piping lines were implanted 6" below the ground to deter degradation from the sun's heat, etc. Hey, if you've got a job to do, let me tell you that you need to call Living Waters FIRST. I found Dave on AngiesList last spring. I had a diaphragm go out on a valve and I was heading out of town the next day. Dave came out, assessed the problem and replaced the diaphragm in no time at a reasonable cost. At that time we talked about the age of the irrigation lines - 25 years. I told Dave that over the past few years I've had a number of leaks and was getting tired of digging, cutting, repairing, etc. He suggested that I replace the lines. But, since I was heading out of town there simply wasn't time. Fast forward to November. Another leak, which I repaired but that just send the lost pressure down the line where there was another leak. Fixed that one and...you guessed it, another leak. I gave up and gave Dave a call. He came out the same afternoon and gave me a quote on using good/better/best tubing. I chose best and he came out the next day with another guy and they got to work. He did a great job. Pulled all the landscape rocks back to trench, then put everything back where they were. You'd never know he was here. I just bought this home and everything was messed up and there were significant issues with the valves, pressure regulators, and missing antishipon valve. David jumped in and fixed everything. Made sure any tubing going under pavers was put through a sleeve. Complet new irrigation system. Tubing was buried 6" under dirt and not just covered with rocks to prevent any future punctures. David installed several capped drip lines for future planting. Spent time go over the ins and outs of watering cycles and times, set up my timer and provided a few lessons on how to adjust it. I wanted to go with PVC pipe that was significantly more expensive since I didn't want the inexpensive flex pipe that was initially used and prone to multiple leaks over the past several years. I had my irrigation system replaced, timer rebuilt and lights installed. I found shortly after that the system was not buried in the ground in some areas but merely covered with the rocks in the yard. They did come out and fix it but it should have been done correctly the first time. read more

I contacted David after reading some online reviews of Living Waters. Prior to calling Living Waters, I also discussed the work with another contractor which I was just not comfortable with. My existing landscape irrigation system is about 20 years old (I've only lived here 1 year) and was not maintained by the previous owner. He came out to my house and walked the property with me and it was apparent that he was extremely knowledgeable about irrigation system installation as well as the materials used. My system had been cut in several places by a contractor that had done work in my yard and I needed these areas reconnected. David and I also agreed that the correct way to correct the portion of the system that was working was to replace all the underground water lines and tie in the lines which had been cut. While I agreed with this, my budget, however, didn't. We then agreed on a more limited scope of work and cost. Living Waters scheduled me and returned on the date and time promised. They were very efficient digging the new trenches and were very careful of some existing underground landscape wiring, all shrubs, etc. They cleaned up when done, raked the areas that were disturbed, and did a great job installing new lines to my shrubs. David and Daniel obviously know, and take pride in their work. I highly recommend them and will be calling them back when I'm ready to redo the rest of my system. read more
