In the end, the project took 6 weeks. For a simple patio, a small dog run and a rock weed barrier. Lucy tried to sneak fees in and without my approval, had her workers rip out 2 of my bushes. After complaining, they replanted them days later but the plants did not survive. They also damaged my drip system (they did fix it after I brought to their attention) also, the workers left trash in the yard. John was kind and understanding but I will continue to tell my neighbors to stay away from them.

They were all competitively priced but each had flaws that turned us off. Lack of communication, lack of material presentation, and a lack of interest in our business. Jesse from TLC was recommended by a local material vendor. He came over with the co-owner Charles to my residence. Right off the bat, they were very professional and showed a lot of interest in our business. I shared with them our vision and goals of our project. Keep in mind I only wanted a retaining wall done, but they went the extra mile to show us what they can do for us for our whole project. This was a huge plus for us. Jesse and Charles came up with the numbers. They were priced similarly to my other estimates, but they had an awesome selection of materials that would fit our budget. They also provided a rendered drawing of what the wall would look like. They also included other possible designs that we envisioned for our backyard renovation. TLC really wanted to be part of our whole project. We agreed on the retaining wall project and signed their contract. When they got started with the project, they were very clean and professional. I did have a run-in with our HOA, but the team knew how to communicate with them so they can stay on schedule. Every day they kept their workspace tidy and kept the area safe for my dog to run around the area. At the end of the project, the family was super satisfied with the work and craftsmanship the team put into our property. They were working under 100º degrees in the summer heat. My only complaint was that they should have ended each day earlier because was HOT! They were all hard-working and the team always had a smile on their faces. You can tell they enjoyed working with each other. Our next phase is our pool, Jesse did have a few contractors lined up for us but we ended up using another contractor that fit our needs. After our pool is done. Jesse and TLC will continue renovating our backyard with pavers and landscaping.

After experiencing 4 roof leaks and multiple contractors doing a fix it upper job after each leak. I was livid! The roof needed to be replaced. When ABC came out to my house they temporarily tarped my roof to stop the water from coming in. In addition, they went through all of the attic spaces in my house to confirm where the leak was coming from. Marcos made me feel beyond relieved with his assessment and determination to get the job done. ABC builders was able to complete the full job which was the new flat roof and the internal repairs and paint. It was a one stop shop which made me feel really comfortable because I knew the job was getting done right! Marcos has an open communication policy and if you have any questions or concerns he makes himself available to answer. He keeps it real on what needs to be repaired, it's not about just making money, it's about getting the job done right so you can be a repeat customer for another job. He warranties his work. His team is awesome as well! They really took what I have previously experienced having 4 roof leaks in 4 years of living there and broke it down for the HOA that the roof could not be repaired it needed a full replacement. After the job was complete, Marcos still kept in touch to ensure there were no further issues and that I was satisfied with the work. To this day the access road gate still sags and is difficult to open and close. A few years ago they came and built some VERY expensive simple walkway gates and an access road gate. The first thing I said is I need them to be pool code because we were saving to build a pool. The walkway gates were in the area of $900. Time after time the walkway gate would not close on its own and, in my opinion was poorly built. I do appreciate them coming to try and fix them but ultimately could not. I've had to cut some pieces to get the lock to have enough space it would close. I would not recommend them as they could solve a simple gate not closing.
