I would never have known about this business except I was driving past it to take it to another location, but the other location was closed on Saturdays... They will explain and work with you to fix your car. By work with you i mean help you find the parts u need and for the right price. My story: I need to get lower and upper mounts with links for my car suspension and they helped me rind the right price and great brand. I brought my Mini here for brakes. They gave me a great deal. $400 for new rotors pads, and sensors for the front and resurfacing for the back. 3 months later they were squeaking again. The brake warning light on the dash was not going off because they couldn't reset it. When I brought it back for a re-evaluation the owner said there was nothing wrong with it and abruptly hung up the phone. I went home with squeaky brakes. Bottom line, don't come here for brakes if you have a Mini. For anything else, go in knowing you're taking a chance, like I did. read more

My brother in law told me to take my car here. His family has been using Lizardo for years. I took my car for shocks, brakes and timing belt change. He charged me less for all those things than any other Mechanic quoted me for just a timing belt change!! Quick service and very friendly. With my Wife and 3 teenage sons (who all own cars) I have saved thousands of dollars taking our cars here. One son even ran his car without oil so we needed a rebuilt engine, and it was also half what other mechanics wanted to charge. If you want good quality work at a good price, take your car here! We have three Japanese cars and two American cars, It makes no difference, he does a fantastic job on all of them. I have been coming to Lizardo's for 2 years now. All I can say he is friendly, honest and great mechanic guy. I went to the dealer to have my oil change. The mechanic at the dealer said that my car is leaking oil, the motor mount is damage and I need to change my spark plugs. Bare in mind, that I changed the spark plugs but the other two they claim that I need to fixed cost me $985. Looking at the amount it is ridiculous. I went to Lizardo's and show him the print out paper that the dealer gave me and he checked my car and found no oil leak and the motor mount has no damage. This place is almost never open... and when they are I wish that they weren't. I brought in my pick-up for a brake job and Lizardo gave me a good price so I said "yea, do it". My car is braking fine but the brakes are even nosier then before he worked on it. I brought it back to him 3 times, he promised reached time that the problem was taken care of and the same noise returns. I have been going to Lizardo's for over ten years now; my brother in law recommended him to me. In thta time I have always known to him to be honest with good pricing. This became more evident two years ago when I was having problems with my 2001 Dodge Durango's transmission. He told me that the transmission was rather expensive (Mercedez had just been acquired by Dodge/Chrysler and had some Mercedez technology making it very expensive). He told me $1,500. I have always trusted Lizardo and did so this time as well. I agreed to the estimate so as to do the work. Upon returning to pick up my carhe told me that it was only a sensor. He charged me about $200 if I recall correctly. He could have easily made an additional $1000. Good and honest mechanics are like good and honest lawyers, there aren't to many out there.
