This place a real down-home feel and is very inviting. I started off with the Philly Cheese Steak Omelette. It is made with Ribeye steam, onions, peppers, mushrooms, and provolone cheese, a combination that is simply hard to beat. My wife had the Western Omelette, a 3 egg, with bacon, green peppers, onions, mushrooms topped with American Cheese. We both had a side of Classic French toast as well. A very filling breakfast to say the least. Everything was fresh and appeared to be cooked to order. We both had the standard Breakfast beverage, coffee. I've been back a few times in a short time span and the food is still tip top, the service is top notch, and I'm loving the diner vibe. I also love that they open super early which works well when I'm hungry and exhausted from a late shift and dont feel like cooking and doing dishes. The prices are within reason as well. They can also accommodate some of the lunch items for breakfast which is awesome cuz sometimes you just need a burger at 6 AM. Special shout out to the fully dressed hot dog ornament hanging on the well decked out Christmas tree. I don't know why but I admire it's presence. It makes me happy. UPDATE: Came back the next morning and decided to push the chefs limits. I ordered a DOUBLE BREAKFAST BURGER. The man was up to the task. It was beautifully plated and perfectly balanced in flavor. He must've known that the salt of the bacon would be just enough to where he would need to just lightly season the burger patties. The bacon was perfectly to my liking where it had crispiness to it as well as some chewiness. He let the bacon hang over the sides of the burger in a spectacular way. I enjoyed ripping off the bacon as a little appetizer. A perfect amount of egg yolk was running off the side which I love to see and sop off with some tater tots. I'm impressed. The dude knows his burgers. Mad props to the dude and the owner for hiring talent. I found a gourmet burger at a comfy diner helmed by people passionate about serving great food at a fair price. I have to mention that with all that bacon and burger patty, the burger wasn't dripping with grease. The burger patties weren't dry either. It was perfectly moist. I stopped for breakfast on a Wednesday at 8:30 am and there were only a few people in there. The server came right over, a very friendly and happy person, and took my order. I ordered the 2-2-2 plate, and it was two scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon and two biscuits with gravy, hashbrowns was also included. My breakfast came right out, and everything was very fresh and tasty. The only thing I didn't care for was the gravy, it was not my type that I like. This is how everyone else likes it, I just happen to like Bob Evans the best, this was too pasty to me, but as I said, this is my issue. I have eaten here in the past and I will stop again when I am in town. It's a great little diner that has very affordable food that tastes great. read more

I don't know if the people are racist or what but I went in with my mom and we got a stare from lizzie herself! Once she stared at us she walked away. After sitting down for a very long time, we asked for it to be to-go. Apparently they make the online orders first and completely forget about the people there physically. We left very dissatisfied and we open our boxes to utter disappointment. A simple breakfast sandwich with bread (not toasted, no butter) looked like it was thrown on it straight from the bag. Eggs were half cooked, bacon was burnt. While we paid Mrs. Lizzie was being smart with us because we asked for it in a box. Tasteless, terrible, rude, non welcoming, expensive. :) read more

Service went downhill here. Went in ordered a Manhattan and Mac N Cheese. Waitress decided after taking my order to hand off my table to someone else. That was unacceptable. On top of that, the mashed potatoes were very dry and the Mac N Cheese didn't seem like milk was used making the cheese sticky and dry. There's other places to go eat. Hope they improve. read more
