We placed our order knowing it would take about an hour. We got there at pick up time, and it was ready. Super smooth order/pick up, just give yourself time. We got the OG for our first visit. The well done tots, which deliver a nice crunch throughout, are the chef's kiss to a packed, flavorfilled burrito. Plus, you have a decent sized side sauce to help bring it all together. Can't wait to go back to try the other ones!
This place had great Yelp reviews so I had to try it. Didn't realize it's located in the Home Depot shopping plaza, but that just means it's probably delish cause it's a small business owner. We found the breakfast burrito good, but not enough sausage. Maybe like 3 pieces. I got the spicy OG breakfast burrito and shared it. It was super, super messy. So make sure you ask for napkins. There's not much seating, just a few benches you can share with others. Parking is plentiful since it's a Home Depot shopping plaza in Cypress.
Wow this burrito was something special! I was having a serious craving for a breakfast burrito and LJ's delivered. They're located in a shack outside Home Depot. Lots of parking available. I ordered online since I heard the wait could be long and was quoted 20 minutes on a weekday morning. The OG breakfast burrito was massive! Yes, at $16, the price is quite steep. But I only ate half in the morning and have the rest for leftovers. Loved the crunch of the tator tots and the gooey cheese. It contained a good ratio of eggs and sausage as well. I tried the cilantro crema sauce and it tasted fresh and creamy. Will definitely be back next time!
Heard about this place online & surprised it was about 5 mins from my house, I pass by it everyday on the way to work. Located in front of the Home Depot, this shop has DELICIOUS breakfast burritos. they are very big & filling. On the left, it was the OG Breakfast Burrito with Portuguese Sausage & on the right it is the Spicy OG Burrito with Spicy Italian sausage. I ordered it for pickup and right when I came at pickup time, the burrito was ready! I think ordering at the shop would be faster but don't quote me on it! Will definitely have to try again soon because I know I'll be craving these burritos in the future!
Was told about this place by a friend and had high expectations based on the pics and boy did it deliver. Runny egg burritos are where its at and the crunchy tots help to add texture. The chorizo burrito doesn't taste like chorizo at all FYI, so you may be disappointed if you're looking for that flavor. Burritos are huge, easily splitable for most people, but fat bastards like me will appreciate the gut bomb.
I've heard about this breakfast burrito for years. I finally decided to treat myself, and it was worth every bite! Located in front of Home Depot with a few tables in case you wanna eat there. Best breakfast burrito I've had in a long time. And the service was top notch. All staff is so incredibly friendly. My kinda establishment! The OG burrito is stuffed, and I mean stuffed with tater tots, Portuguese sausage, bacon, cheese, egg, LJ's sauce (mayo-based sauce) and it's insanely delicious. All the flavors and textures blend so well together. The veggie burrito, which I got without bell peppers, added bacon was also really good. Never thought of adding grilled onions in a breakfast burrito, and now it's gonna be the only way to breakfast burrito, SO good! There's a variety of salsas to choose from, the mild red salsa is very fresh and flavorful. The cilantro creama is creamy and delicious. These burritos are huge, y'all. It probably weighs 3 lbs each, so definitely come hungry. They also have a lunch menu with hot dogs and burgers, served after 11:30am. I'm definitely a fan of LJs and will be back for sure.
I came here to try the OG burrito, and it was seriously fire. Super flavorful and definitely lived up to the hype. If you go, make sure to get the creamy cilantro sauce it takes everything to another level. The setup is pretty low-key since it's more of a kiosk in front of Home Depot, but honestly it doesn't take away from the experience at all. The vibe is still chill, and the food speaks for itself. Service is pretty standard you order, pay, and they call your name when it's ready. It can get busy since the place is really popular, so I'd recommend going early if you want to make sure you get the burrito. Last time I went, the hours were around 7 AM to 1 PM, but that could've changed. Overall, a must-try spot if you're in the area especially for the OG burrito.
This is such an interesting find on Yelp! I definitely went to this Home Depot a couple of times not knowing that there was a breakfast burrito place right in front of it. We got the Spicy OG burrito and the LJ's Sammy. They both come with your choice of sauce. Unlike other places, they did not skimp out on sauce and it definitely lasted until the last bite of burrito. The LJ's Sammy was a decent breakfast sandwich. The LJ's sauce was definitely the star of the show. I wish the sandwich was a bit bigger though. The burrito on the other hand was well made with perfectly crispy tots inside. The sausage was also flavorful and tender. Paired well with the mild salsa. The burrito was about $16 and Sammy was $12. It's a little bit on the more expensive side for burritos. Overall, it is still a good breakfast place to try when you're around the area!
Who knew this little burrito spot next to Home Depot would be such a hit! Came to pick up some breakfast burritos at 8 in the morning and this place was packed. Good thing we ordered ahead and they made that burrito quick; it was ready by the time we got there. My friend and I can finally say this is the best breakfast burrito spot we've had. In the words of one of my friends who responded to my story, "this place fuxxx." We both had the Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito with the green sauce. I wish it came with more than one green sauce because extra sauce was 50 cents more and I'm a saucy gal. If you think it's enough sauce, double it and give it to the next person (aka me). The burrito was so good - I could maybe do without sauce but that would be crazy and the closest psych ward is 10 miles away. However, the crispy tator tots, melted cheese, and spicy Italian sausage paired so well together that I might go off my meds and just have this instead. This one burrito served 3 meals for us so I can't complain.
I yearn for these burritos. Ive heard about this place on TikTok and wanted to see the hype. I am a big breakfast burrito enthusiast and this place reached my expectations. I absolutely loved the burritos. It was cheesy and crunchy and just amazing, total flavor bomb in the mouth. The crispy tater tots were such a nice texture change to the soft eggs. These burritos paired with their cilantro crema was absolute HEAVEN! The freshness of the crema cut through the greasiness of the burrito and it was perfect! Service was quick and fast and it is a small little place outside the Home Depot. I would absolutely go again!!
On a whim, I found this little Cafe. It took me a couple passes through the parking lot to realize it's located in front of the Home Depot (HD) exit. Truly a great spot. I came for a breakfast burrito and it didn't disappoint. At a higher price point than I expected, it was very satisfying, filling, flavorful and enough for 2 meals. I was also told it would be about 10 minutes to prepare and it was ready within that time frame. Since it's in the Home Depot parking lot, parking is plenty. There were several others, like myself, who were just coming for food without stepping inside HD. They are only open until 2pm. I am usually not in the area til later in the afternoon, but I am keeping this place on my radar to return to when my schedule allows earlier in the day.
I remembered seeing this café on one of my IG reels and so when I was heading out of Home Depot, I had to order a breakfast burrito Got the spicy OG burrito with the medium spicy salsa Verde Brought it home and divided into two meals it is huge. Excellent ratios and just a well-balanced burrito probably one of my favorites on the list now. You can call ahead and they will take your order but I waited about 30 minutes before I got my order. No seats inside it's just a little food truck and a bunch of seats outdoors so you can take it to go. I really enjoyed this place.
My new favorite breakfast burrito spot in OC! But let me tell you, expect a wait. The Cypress location is unique in that it's basically a little shack in front of a Home Depot. There are two windows--one for ordering and one for picking up your food. They have a few tables outside, but if those are taken, then you'll have to take it to-go or stand next to some lumber or pots while you eat. I ordered online around 8:45, but it was a bit confusing because the system tells you it will only be a 30 minute wait, but the estimated pick up time they provided was an hour and a half later. Wasn't sure when I should arrive, so I went in between those times. Thankfully it was ready a little before the estimated arrival time. I overheard some other people talking saying that if you order in person at the window, the wait can sometimes be 2+ hours! That's a pretty long time to wait, but I will say that their burritos are good! We got the OG Breakfast Burrito that has eggs, tater tots, Portuguese Hawaiian sausage, bacon, mixed cheese, LJ's sauce, and a side of salsa. You can choose red or green salsa. We also got a Veggie Breakfast Burrito with 3 eggs, tater tots, grilled bell peppers, onions, grilled tomatoes, mixed cheese, LJ's sauce, and salsa. I also added crispy bacon. Both were flavorful, delicious, and had a nice variety of textures. They also have some other sauces like Hot Habanero Salsa and Creamy Cilantro Crema, so I'll definitely have to try those out next time. Overall, great breakfast burritos, but order with caution if you're on a time crunch.

My friends Keith and Julie told me about this spot. They stop here before/after their cruises out of Long Beach. They said that the breakfast burritos are bomb, so I had to try them out. You know what? They weren't lying! AMAZING! I met my buddy here on Sunday morning before I drove back to Phoenix. We got there about 8:15am and there were already people in line (They open at 8:00am.) I ordered the OG Breakfast Burrito without the sauce, and went with the serrano salsa. Total was about $17.00, a little pricey for a breakfast burrito, but worth it in the end. They tell you that they make everything fresh, so the wait would be about 15-20 minutes. They call your name and you pick up your burrito at the window. How was it? OG Breakfast Burrito- First of all, this thing was heavy! Not the biggest burrito I have seen, but it was stuffed perfectly with each ingredient and the flavors hummed as I was munching through it. The OG has eggs, crispy hash browns, bacon, cheese and Portuguese sausage chunks in it. They slice it in half for you so you can see the goodness you are about to consume. It was so good...might have ruined any/all breakfast burritos for me in the future. My gold standard before this one was a Cotijas Hashbrown Burrito down in San Diego, but this one blew it out of the water. Literally every element of the burrito worked well together, and every bite was wonderful. The green serrano salsa is bomb, too! Spicy, but not too hot. A little avocado base and some heat cant be beat! They give you a nice size portion of it, too! Overall, this was fantastic! Easily the best breakfast burrito I have ever had. It's definitely not "cheap" but the quality and flavor make up for the price tag. I will gladly pay for this every single time, without thinking. ... I could eat a breakfast burrito (ok, half) everyday, so they always catch my eye. I saw this place advertised awhile ago... and today while running errands... it said I was 5 min away... so I re-routed myself... to HOME DEPOT! LOL It's 10:44 am and they have quite a business going on here. Pretty smart idea to sell good burritos in addition to hot dogs! I went for the Queso burrito cuz who doesn't like Queso? Even tho you can pick your salsa, there was something pretty spicy in this today... but in a good way! I can handle a little heat! What seemed to be unique was it seemed the tater tots (which were VERY crunchy) were chopped up instead of whole ... and that made the unique difference. I'm sure you'll agree that most breakfast burritos have too much potato (filler)... but I'd like to try another flavor another time, just because of this unique difference. I also love crunchy anything! I was only able to barely eat half, so since I had asked for it wrapped it two, I was able to give it to a friend. Pricier than most but larger than the average breakfast burritos. **** WARNING**** Long wait times, so order ahead. Located outside the Home Depot in Cypress, make sure you plan ahead and make 1 trip. Order first and shop at Home Depot. You can order online but weekends are busy. Average wait time 45 minutes- 1 hour. Long wait, but definitely worth the try. Enjoy! read more
Stumbled on this cafe on a random Home Depot run. It's located right up front and noticed there were quite a few people lined up. Checked it out and tried their og burrito with cilantro cream salsa. They had other options too but that's what they recommended for someone who doesn't like spicy. It came with tater tots, hawaiian portuguese sausage, cheese, egg, & LJ's sauce. I loved all the different crunchy, soft, and creamy texture inside. The cheese pull was appetizing as well. Glad they cut the burrito in half for you as I was only able to eat a half. Portions were massive! Prices are kinda steep ($16/burrito) but it does fill you up. read more
Have seen LJ's many, many times as it's the walk-up cafe built into the front of the Home Depot (to the right as you exit). Tried the OG burrito and it was huge and packed with eggs, tator tots, portuguese sausage and lots of bacon. Lots of flavor and highly recommended. Unlike most CA breakfast burritos which taste simply like eggs with meat, this one almost seemed HI style with layered flavors and almost everything having a taste to it. There is a 15-min wait for your order but if you order before going into HD, it'll be ready on your way out. read more

Forget all other breakfast burritos you've had because LJ's sets the bar on a whole 'nother level. I thought that I had had good breakfast burritos, even REALLY GREAT ones, but they all pale to those being served out of this shack in front of Home Depot. LJ's Lil' Cafe is a local favorite for all things breakfast burritos. Unassuming from the outside as it's just a small walk-up window stationed in front of a Home Depot, what's cooking up inside is simply magical. I got their Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito which features eggs, tater tots, hot Italian sausage, cheese, and jalapeños. It was perfection wrapped in a tortilla. The eggs were fluffy, the tots were crunchy, the sausage had a nice snap to it. Literally, no notes! Each burrito comes with a side of salsa. You can choose from their signature, red, or green. I opted for the green one-- super refreshing with just the right amount of spice. What stood out to me about their salsa was the portion size. They don't skimp on it and give you a fat tub! If you're feeling extra saucy, they do offer extra salsa servings for purchase, but one tub was plenty to slather around for me. read more

For a more traditional breakfast burrito, it's very solid. One burrito can feed one very hungry person or be shared for a not TOO? heavy meal! It's not my fav bfast burrito, but it's probably top 3! ======== Veggie burrito 4/5 $16ish (added Portuguese sausage + pickled jalepeno) I also added an extra side of salsa and requested light tots + cheese. The tots were crispy and were a little soft after 40min, but when eaten fresh it's tasty. I didn't find too much Portuguese sausage in my burrito, so next time I probably don't even need it lol the breakfast burrito was good with cilantro crema and ketchup! When you get to the end of the burrito, the tortilla bottom is not saturated in grease so that's nice. Tortilla was yummy, will prolly request extra toasted next time! Eggs weren't overcooked and soft enough with ample ingredients inside. Serrano salsa is very spicy, I could not handle haha Service you kinda gotta enunciate your order as it's loud since the kitchen is right next to the cashier. Got the OG Burrito and it hit the spot. Would definitely say it's one of the best breakfast burritos I've ever head. Adding cilantro crema to the burrito made it very tasty as well. Big portion, well balanced, and packed with flavor without being greasy. Everything tasted fresh, and the service was friendly. Just a heads up, heard they don't take phone orders on weekends because they get so busy. Went on a Sunday morning around 8am and it wasn't too busy! Kinda pricey for what it is. It's aite. not the best, but not the worst either. Food was decent, nothing really stood out enough to justify the price. I wouldn't come back just because I don't think it's worth it. I'll give it a 3 out of 5 since it's not bad. read more

You got your "go-to" breakfast burritos and your "gotta try" burritos and this lands on ur "gotta-try" that can turn into a "go-to". I tried the OG breakfast burrito and my husband had the chorizo burrito. These burritos are packed with flavor and that crunch from the crispy tater tots....definitely worth $16. And a must is the cilantro cream sauce. I may be biased because i haven't tried the other sauces but this one wont disappoint. They are not stingy with the size either and probably keep you full all day. read more

This is my new favorite breakfast burrito spot in OC!!! They're located right outside a Home Depot in Cypress, you can't miss it. There are only two picnic tables outside so most people just grab and go. They're known for their burritos and sandwiches which I have yet to try the sandwich! Their burritos are loaded with so much cheese, fluffy eggs, tots, and the delicious spicy sausage. If you like the heat, the habanero salsa is a must get here. Finally had a chance to make it here and ohhh myyy gawwwww. This cranks out great breakfast burritos. First visit got the queso burrito and took home held up good on the ride home so very big and good. I'm a tater tot lover and anyplace that offers tots for breakfast gets 3 stars off the bat! 2nd visit got the og. And again, I was just saying mmmm mmmm mmm while I was chewing. Oh so good. Great friendly staff from order window to pick up. Made you feel as if you're family. A a hut perfectly located in front of Home Depot and has 2 picnic tables with umbrellas in front to enjoy. Or tail gate it in the parking lot which I did. Legit 5 stars! read more
Ordered the OG burrito and it was so filling! Definitely could not have finished one by myself. I did split it and it was perfect. I love that they don't skimp on the filling. I did place my order online and I got it within 10 minutes which was faster than anticipated! You get to choose from a variety of sauces so I chose the LJ's sauce which tastes like a chipotle aioli. I personally think the sauce was too heavy with the burrito I got since it's mayo-based so next time I'd choose a salsa to help cut through the heaviness of this burrito. It was a good breakfast burrito and would come back next time to try the other sauces/burritos! read more

I friend of mine has raved about LJ's Lil' Cafe for quite a while now for their delicious breakfast burritos. I've been wanting to go a while back but never had the chance because it's so out of the way for me but I finally did this past week! I had a quick check-up at my dentist the other day and saw that LJ's was about 10 minutes away. Once I was finished, I hopped onto their website and ordered their Spicy OG Breakfast Burrito with green salsa for pickup. I placed my order at 9:33AM and was given an estimated ready time for 9:50AM. I arrived early and my order was ready by the time I parked! Loved how filling it was along with the cheese pull. Everything was fresh and so delicious. I loved the flavor of their chunky green salsa. The tater tots were so crispy which was a plus! The hot Italian sausage was delicious and whatever's in that LJ's sauce was BOMBDOTCOM. Is LJ's breakfast burrito my absolute favorite? Nope. Is it in my top 5 of all-time? Heck yeah! I'll definitely be back in the near future because this hole-in-the-wall is easily one of the best breakfast burritos around! read more

Update: Stopped by after Sunday mass. Got a Spicy OG breakfast burrito. This thing is delicious! Everything in this burrito flows just right. I cant explain how good this is but you need to come then out for yourself. You wont be dissapointed. read more

Best breakfast burrito ever! The ratios of cheese to crunchy tots to meat to eggs is perfect. It comes with sauce and its a good size portion too. We tried the creamy cilantro and signature sauces which were both really good. The outside has a few benches which were nice and clean. The services was also quick and they were nice. WARNING: if you are going for the first time, be prepared to wait for up to an hour if you are ordering in person. Better to order on the phone or online. read more

This outdoor cafe was opened in 2021 and is literally located right next to the exit of Home Depot. LJ's Lil' Cafe currently has a new brick-and-mortar location in the City of Orange and owners used to work at Season 52 in Costa Mesa. [Parking]: Easy Home Depot parking lot. [Atmosphere]: This is an outdoor cafe (built from a trailer) with only two outdoor picnic tables. Most customers pre-order ahead of time and this is not a sit-down dining spot. [Ordering]: First time I ordered in person and my burrito was ready in 10 minutes. Second time I placed an online order and received a notification stating that my order will be ready in 20-30 minutes. I eventually got a text message that my order is almost ready after 15 minutes. I ultimately received my order at the pickup window after stating my name & there was no delay. [Menu]: A simple breakfast menu with just 6 items. The most popular burrito is OG Burrito and each burrito comes with 1 of 5 different salsa - LJ's Signature, Mild Red Roasted, Medium Green Serrano, Hot Habanero, and Creamy Cilantro Crema. First sala per burrito is complimentary and additional 3.25 ounce salas are $0.75 each. I gotta tell you I have a Love for breakfast burritos and there's nothing like finding a spot that checks all the boxes when you're looking for a great breakfast burrito. This place is legit as it comes. In my opinion. Yes, the options are different as they offer Portuguese sausage instead of regular sausage, but to me, that's what makes it unique. Do yourself a favor order online it scheduled you a pick up time and save yourself to hassle in the Waite by just showing up and trying to order as it does get really busy on the weekends. The OG burrito here is amazing even after the drive home the tater tot steak crispy which I love and it's just a hearty breakfast burrito. My wife gets the veggie one which is also really good and make sure you get some LJ sauce in that bad boy which really changes the game do yourself a favor get to this place ASAP and check out what they have to offer. read more
Wanted a filling breakfast but not something TOO hearty, so we stopped by LJ's Lil Cafe to get a nice handheld brekkie! We originally wanted to get breakfast burritos but turns out the menu we were looking at wasn't updated, so they were more expensive than we were expecting ($16). Sometimes you don't wanna spend more than what you had in mind! So we both opted to get the LJ's Sammy ($12) instead The sandwiches were very good! The eggs are scrambled with cheese so you get nice, gooey, cheesy bites. You can choose between bacon or sausage, or pay extra for both, so I got bacon; nice and crispy! First and foremost, I'm quite sure that most of us that's trying this restaurant is because of TikTok. While those food reviews look really good. The food is very much so mid. I ordered the spicy OG burrito. First and foremost, let me just say that the burrito starts at 15.99..... for a burrito! Now, if you think that's pretty reasonable, let's get started on really what's wrong here. As you can tell by the burrito. This is literally a hash brown burrito wrapped in a tortilla. There's hardly any egg and hardly any meat. Not to mention, I asked for add-ons. The add-ons are $2.99! For one! They are quite literally charging you $2.99 for 2 to 3 slices of avocado when an entire avocado only costs about a $1 maybe $1.50. And also charging you for $2.99 for maybe one to two slices of bacon. But as you can tell by the picture, where is the bacon!? I paid three dollars for bacon, but did not taste any of it. While I understand that there are a small business, this place is extremely overrated. The prices are astronomical and I definitely do not understand the hype. The food is definitely not bad, but they are truly taking advantage of TikTok and choosing to raise their prices. This is insane! I got sick immediately after. The oil is HEAVY. HUGE. MASSIVE. YUMMY. CHEES-Y. HASHBROWNS WERE SOOOOO CRUNCHY. LOADED WITH EGGS. LOADED WITH SAUSAGE. THE FIRE. THE BOMB. WORTH IT. I first came across this place near Home Depot and just had to try--it smelled so good. And I needed something for breakfast anyways. I then took some of my girls to get it, and they give the seal of approval! The sauces really wrapped (get it?) everything up, and I really reccomend the creamy cilantro crema. It paired perfectly; if you're looking for the perfect twinge of spice, go salsa verde. It's definitely a grab and go place since it was just a couple benches outside. I'd say either go to the other location, or what I did was go to the nearby Starbucks and got us all drinks. Beautiful view of the Home Deopt appliances XD. Haven't had a post worthy breakfast burrito in a while now. I ordered OG breakfast burrito, spicy OG & Chorizo. Couldn't take a photo of the other ones before they took a bite out of it. All 3 was packed with eggs, cheese, tots & protein. The tater tots inside gave the burrito a great texture. Orders take a bit longer to prepare, try to order online first since it's a small shack located next to Home Depot. I ordered online ahead of time, when got there for pickup there was a long line of people waiting in the rain. For $15-16 for this quality it was worth it. read more
Small stall shop located outside of home depot. The food was delicious. Probably ranked in my top 5 best breakfast burrito in socal. The tator tots were crispy and delicious. It was a little too cheesy for me which i will remember next time i order to reduce the cheese. There were two bench tables for customers. Wait time was 10 minutes. They recommend to call ahead. There was a stream of customers but no long lines on a tuesday morning 10am. Service was friendly and prompt with realistic expectations on wait times. Came here for the first time a few years ago on a whim and have been thinking about "that breakfast burrito outside of Home Depot" ever since, but couldn't remember the name. ChatGPT to the rescue! Made it back this weekend and ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito, a Chicago style hot dog, and a side of tater tots. The burrito is a big guy, but I wished there was more meat, and the way it was folded left almost all of the grilled onions on one side. Still, it was yummy enough to save to my Favorites and revisit the next time we're heading east on 91. Be warned: the wait can be long. They take online orders, so get yours in about an hour ahead! IM IN AWE OF HOW GOOD EVERY SINGLE BITE IS. this is truly the best breakfast burrito I have had so far!! I loved every element in the burrito. The tater tots were SO crispy, the cheese was perfectly melted, the meat was SO juicy and SO flavorful, and the salsa was SO fresh. They give you the salsa in a pretty big container so there's plenty to drench your burrito in. I highly recommend getting some of the other salsas because it's nice trying the different combinations of the sauces with the burrito. read more

Saw this place on a "Best Breakfast Burritos" list on IG and I bookmarked it. I was going to be in the area, so I ordered ahead using their website. I got 3 OG burritos and 2 Chorizo. Selected the time for pick up and finished the order. Got there on time and just as I parked, I got a text saying my order was ready for pick up. The employee at the pick up window was nice and friendly. Gave him my order info and he found my ticket and he started packing up my order. The OG was really good. The first thing I noticed, the tortilla had a nice crunch to it. Usually, the tortillas on breakfast burritos are soggy or chewy. This was not. The tater tots were still crunchy, the eggs were fluffy and the burrito was not a bit oily. I just wished there was a tad more Portuguese sausage in it. But all in all - it was a good breakfast burrito. The chorizo burrito, was not as good as the OG. It's not your traditional oily, grease dripping out spicy chorizo that you're probably used to. The tortilla had the same toasty crunch as the OG, the eggs were nicely cooked but it didn't have much chorizo in it. The OG was good and I'd get it again. IF you haven't been before, it's a small shack right in front of the Home Depot. read more
