I got their OG Breakfast Burrito and it was a life-changing experience. I will never forget it. The cheese was melty, the tots were so crispy, the eggs fluffy, everything about it was done so well. These burritos are huge! Just one burrito was enough for me to share with a friend. When I'm craving a breakfast burrito now, this is the only spot I'll go to! The employees are so nice as well, it just made the experience even better. It took about 10 minutes for us to receive our order but we didn't mind the wait. This shop is located in the parking lot of a Home Depot, so parking isn't too hard to find. read more

Little spot outside of Home Depot yet such an unsuspectingly great spot for breakfast burritos! Service was nice and quick. Food takes a little waiting but nothing over the top, I waited for 10-15 minutes for my order as there were several people ahead of me. Got the OG Burrito and Spicy OG Burrito with mild salsa, medium green serrano salsa, and the cilantro crema. The burritos have the average breakfast fillings: potatoes, meat, egg, cheese, and sauce. It's hefty and best enjoyed right away! Otherwise, it can get greasy if you reheat and eat. Their salsas is what makes it for me! Fresh, flavorful, spicy! My favorites were the mild salsa and the medium green serrano salsa. Overall, it is such a great spot to stop by for some delicious breakfast! Their salsa selection is so fresh and a wonderful pairing to their burritos. I'd recommend this spot! read more

It was fine. Decent burrito with an extraordinary wait. There isn't a ton of space to sit either. It is what it is. A no-frills place with pretty good food but one I likely wouldn't visit again. Not for me but I'm sure it's perfect for someone. I think it's worth a shot but I likely won't go again. read more

As always, this place is delicious. The OG is my go-to, especially with the green sauce. The green sauce has the perfect amount of heat and acidity to cut through the delicious fat. Service is friendly and the burrito takes 10-15 because they're made to order. There's some tables with an umbrella to sit and wait too. read more

I came here after hearing that their breakfast burrito is well known, so I decided to check it out. The location was interesting -- it's set up in a container right next to a Home Depot, which made the visit feel a bit unexpected and fun. The food came out quickly, and I didn't have to wait long before trying it. From the first bite, I could immediately understand why so many people talk about this place. It was honestly very delicious. The hot sauce was especially memorable and added a great layer of flavor, and overall the balance of the burrito was excellent. I personally really like Wake & Late's burritos, so I was happy to find another spot in OC that I can enjoy just as much. Definitely a place I'd come back to. read more

Okay, I ordered online and I was a bit put off because I only later discovered that it was located in a Home Depot parking lot and that it takes them an hour to prepare a take out burrito. I was hoping to grab a quick bite before hitting the road out of the area, so I explained to the guy that H did not realize their typical wait time was an hour and he pushed my order through quickly. Well, lucky me. That guy did a nice thing and I got to enjoy a super tasty breakfast burrito. I typically to not prefer tater tots in my breakfast burrito, but this one was hands down fantastic. Great flavor, cheesy, not soggy at all, not dry, great tasting sausage, and very very fluffy eggs. Also, I'm a big eater, but even for me this was two meals. Yum! Anyway, be advised that it takes them a while to prepare your order, but if you have time, do not hold back. Way above average breakfast burrito. read more

Burrito was incredible. It's probably the best I've had in LA. Ordered it ahead of time and when I got there it was ready. Tater tot's were also really good, crunchy but nice and warm in the inside. Staff were attentive! Would recommend to anyone who loves bfast burritos ! read more

Good breakfast burrito, generous portion, and friendly staff. I ordered the OG burrito with sausage/bacon and tried the green sauce which was really good. Big burrito with egg, potatoes, cheese, protein, and warm flour tortilla. It's a small shop outside Home Depot with outside benches and quick service. Definitely worth a visit to try! read more

finally got to try this famous breakfast burrito spot! i got the spicy OG with spicy habanero salad. i was told the wait could be up to 45 mins (on a Saturday around 11am), but it turned out to be only about 30 mins. the portion is huge, definitely could feed two people or one person for two meals. yummy! read more

Ordered online, scheduled for pick up at 1pm. I arrived a little before 1 and checked my phone. They had sent me a text saying my order was almost ready and to go to the pickup window. I went to the window and i saw multiple orders sitting there. The lady asked my name and I told her. She said "give me a minute". I happily stepped away. 15 minutes later i am still standing there waiting for my name to be called. They are calling out a lot of other orders. Finally I walk up again and someone else comes to the window to help me. I tell them I already told the lady my name for the order but it's been a long time and I'm wondering is it ready yet? The guy looks at the orders just sitting there next to the window and says oh yeah here's your order. So it was just sitting there for 15 minutes. It was still slightly warm, but not as hot as it could have been. Burrito was ok. I've had this place on my list for a long time. Unfortunately this was a disappointment. won't be returning. Also, I realize it's outside, but the tables could really use some wiping down. They were filthy. read more

I learned about this from an IG reel and they're right that it's pretty much an extension of Home Depot. It's between the entrance and exit of the store and not a standalone structure like I initially thought. I ordered the OG breakfast burrito and it was crispy and fresh. A bit salty, but that's to be expected with Portuguese sausage and tater tots. The salsa is not like the ones you get at taco shops. It's actual salsa, so be ready for that. The service was pretty solid and the food came out exactly 10 minutes like the cashier said. There are a couple picnic tables on the outside if you wanna eat it there. read more

Was kind of skeptical to try this place, but the photos didn't disappoint! Tasted just as good as it looked. I ordered the spicy og burrito and added bacon and avocado. I tried the medium green salsa and the habanero salsa, the habanero is by far the better salsa but it does have a good kick to it. Definitely would come back. LJ's has quickly become my favorite breakfast burrito spot and I'm so glad they're so close. been frequenting this spot for a couple of times now since I've found them on IG while looking for top 10 breakfast spots in OC. Hands down they make some great burritos. My go to are the OG and the Spicy OG burrito. The burritos are very filling and it's the size of my forearm. Do bare in mind that it is made to order so expect to wait sometimes. Roughly 20-40 mins --- that's my only gripe, but its food made to order so it's slightly worth it. Sauces are delicious and services are friendly. They have two locations but I prefer this (home depot) over the other location. More so convenience. read more

Wow, if you're looking for a delicious, hearty breakfast burrito, then look no more! After perusing through the reviews, I learned that it's best to either call ahead or order online to avoid the lines. We got the OG breakfast burrito and spicy OG breakfast burrito and both were delicious! I love the tater tots as they were very crispy. The fillings were so good. I highly recommend trying one of each salsa and they were nice enough to comp us some LJ special sauce too. I highly recommend. I would love it if there was a closer location though. Overall, prices are decent. Credit cards are accepted and there's plenty of parking read more

LJ's Lil Café has the best burritos! Located at the front of Home Depot, this tiny little shack is growing in popularity. When they first opened, you would have to place your order and come back to pick it up. Now, they offer online ordering. The burritos are HUGE, they're perfect to share. So glad there's a new breakfast burrito spot that is just as worthy as Nick's Deli and Ham & Scram! They have two picnic tables where you can enjoy your meal nice and fresh. They are closed on Mondays but open Tues-Saturday from 7:30 am - 2:00 pm. Sunday's they're open from 8:00 am - 1:00 pm. I highly recommend you give it a try. read more

Yummy burritos, and love that this place is by a Home Depot so there's plenty of parking! It's an unassuming small shack with a few picnic tables to eat at outside. I came here around 1pm on a Saturday and waited for my burrito for around 20 minutes. I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito. It was large enough to split it into two meals for me, which justified the price point of $15+. My partner ordered the OG Breakfast burrito with the sausage, which was also great. These burritos was salty, cheesy, crunchy from the tater tots, and overall very delicious! I also really enjoyed their salsas. I drove out around 30 minutes to check this place out and it was very much worth it! read more

Can't go wrong with LJ's breakfast burritos. Hands down in my top two in OC. The wait can be long at times but it's worth the wait (plus there are spots around the area to shop while you do). I typically get the Spicy OG, but the Chorizo and Queso burritos are solid as well. If you're a big guy like me, a solo burrito hits the spot and then some -- but if you're a masochist who can't take dairy well (like me), then maybe don't get the queso (but trust me it's delicious). Friendly staff. Superb breakfast burritos. Coming back on the regular for sure. read more

LOOK AT THAT CHEESE PULLLLL. Any establishment that has tater tots in their burritos is automatically one of my favorite places. They understandably raised prices due to the egg shortage, but the quality was so good, and the salsa was a great addition to spice up the burrito. I'm very picky when it comes to breakfast burritos, I feel there's always something missing. However this morning my fiancé showed me LJ's on tik tok, looked AMAZING! Just left in person after ordering the OG burrito, flavor is 10/10. They don't skimp out on the food at all, and their salsa verde compliments it so well! I've tried the OG breakfast burrito and the Spicy OG so far. The OG is very good! I especially like the extremely crispy tater tots they use, and the portion size is massive. Their green salsa is excellent. The habanero salsa is amazing, however, is insanely hot, so I wouldn't recommend pairing it with the Spicy OG. The Spicy OG is surprisingly very hot on its own. It uses a spicy Italian sausage, which is an interesting choice, I'm still not sure whether I love it or hate it, and it also comes with spicy jalapeños inside, so consider this your warning. Overall, the flavors are easily 5-star, but I have to knock off one star due to the hype and higher price point. Still, I highly recommend it for serious breakfast burrito enthusiasts. read more

Heard about this place from a coworker and decided to check it out. This location is connected to the front of a home depot, so no need to think you went to the wrong parking lot. The staff was very nice and helpful when it came to ordering 5/5. I ordered the OG breakfast burrito which was $16 and got a side of the LJ's sauce. The hash browns were crispy and the cross section didn't appear greasy. After eating half of the burrito, I felt like it was a standard breakfast burrito. Everything that was listed for the burrito sounded great, but together it just didn't pack a punch in the flavor department leading to a 3/5. Side note: my friends burrito cheese didn't melt fully in the burrito. read more

08/16/2024 Came here after a shooting session at FT3 Tactical in Stanton. They close at 2 pm is we had to rush over here. Sorry only a 3 star rating because I may have ordered the wrong burrito I got the Chorizo Burrito it was just okay nothing special but I liked the green chili sauce it had the right amount of spice and hotness. My brother got the OG Burrito he said it was 5 stars. So I'll try the OG Burrito next time and update this review. Staff was very friendly, they have 2 picnic benches to sit and eat. They are located right in front of the Home Depot. You can miss them right between the entrance and exit doors. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for awhile now. I've heard so many good reviews from others, I finally was able to get my hands on it and proud to say it did not disappoint. I got the OG Burrito and the Spicy OG burrito and it was delicious! The burrito was the perfect breakfast burrito. The sauces that came with it made it ever better. The workers were so helpful to help me decide what was best! It's not a sit down but very limited sitting. This is more of a grab and go. Definitely will be coming back!! read more

Located outside a Home Depot, LJ's has really good breakfast burritos. We got the Spicy OG. The burrito came with tater tots inside and the egg was cooked slightly soft which I really liked. This spot is really popular so be prepared to wait a bit for your order. We waited about 30 minutes on a Saturday morning. We killed time by going into Home Depot to grab a free things we needed for the house. There's a few outdoor benches you can sit at to eat. If you're craving a breakfast burrito, LJ's is a really good option. read more

The size and price are average you pay elsewhere. The new location is nice and the drive thru was great. Staff was efficient and pleasant. I was impressed with Pepe's food. I can say I will be ordering from this place again. I'm curious now to visit the Alhambra location.

Instead, when I got my burrito, I honestly thought there had been a mistake. This thing was literally the size of two hot sauce containers and I'm not exaggerating. It was about the size of one crispy taco. I've always known Pepe's for generous portions, so this was definitely a first for me. I understand that ordering without rice will make a burrito smaller, but this was pretty extreme. Let's just let the picture speak for itself. Hopefully this was just an off day, because this portion was definitely a miss.
