This is a good place id you're doing errands and are looking for a quick place to grab a meal. We were seated fairly quickly. Our server was really attentive and checked in frequently at first but was less attentive during the meal itself (e.g. no water or coffee refills). The food is okay- what youd expect from a diner. The meal started off with some warm and fresh conchas, which set the the tone for a meal. But the meal itself tasted like it was made from pre-made or canned sauces, so it was a little disappointing because of the tone that was set with the complimentary conchas.

Overall, pretty solid breakfast spot. The food was really good, and I loved that they bring out complimentary warm conchas at the start. Nice touch and they were soft and fresh. We ordered a mix of classic American breakfast and it hit the spot. The French toast was thick and fluffy with a good sweetness (powdered sugar + butter), and the scrambled eggs and sausage were cooked right and filling. We also tried the oatmeal with fruit and it came with a good spread of fresh fruit on the side (banana, blueberries, and mixed fruit), which made it feel a little lighter and balanced. Big plus is the menu variety. They've got a great selection of American and Mexican breakfast options, so there's something for everyone. I'd definitely come back when I'm in the area.

I kept seeing this place on social media and my child absolutely loves concha bread so I had to take her to try it out. The big conch was like $20 but she ate like less than half on her own. It was a little bit on the dry size as I feel like the bigger they are the dryer it gets inside. My kid loved the experience regardless. I got their fried concha breakfast combo. It was ok. Overall a definite place to try once if you love concha like my kid. Service was good and attentive.

I had been hearing the hype about Loaded Cafe for a while so I decided to check the restaurant out for myself. I arrived there for breakfast and it was not packed at all, so my party and I were seated right away. Entering the restaurant, it plays heavily into the diner vibes and resembles heavy to a Denny's or an IHop. As we were seated we were asked if it was out first time (it was) and our waiter was kind to go over the menu and house favorites. He then proceeded to bring out complimentary mini conchitas. I believe they bring one per person, however, I am sure you could ask for more if you let your waiter know. I ordered the Horchata Iced Latte on the recommendation of the waiter, the Waffle Combo, and the Machaca Breakfast Burrito. The Latte was good, although it did not have a strong horchata taste. It tasted more like a regular or vanilla latte, however still very yummy. The breakfast burrito was quite filling and they did not skimp out on the protein in it. I do wish that the tortilla was a little more toasted/grilled so it could have provided another level of texture. The pico de gallothat came with it was nothing special and I wish the burrito came with some sort of special sauce. The waffles were quite tasty and the eggs were nicely salted.

Love a good breakfast spot... ordered just an original breakfast plate complete with sunny side up eggs, hashrbrowns and sausage with the churro dulce de leche French toast.... It was delicious... they start you off by giving you complimentary warm sweet bread ( so good ). We were looking for a late breakfast spot being in the area and Yelp led us to Loaded Cafe. We Ordered the Chicken Guacamole Stacker with an Orange Juice and the Sirloin Steak and Eggs with the Watermelon Chamoyada Smoothie. Service was competent gracious and kind. We were checked in and had a short wait that was well worth it. We were seated and treated to 2 warm soft Cinnamon Conchas that indicated we were surely going to have a great dinning experience, (loved that touch). A nice sized crowd of patrons left the ambiance abuzz with good vibes and apparently tasty meals. Our hostess (Rachel) was the best and ensured we were well taken care of. The Chicken Guacamole Stacker was simply delicious. Full of flavor with perfect preparations. The Sirloin was another that was delicious with plenty of flavor and tender bite. We were more than satisfied with our dinning experience and have already logged this Loaded Cafe down as one to repeat patronage in the near future. Overall, great experience. We were greeted right away. Jennifer was very attentive and always checked in on us throughout our visit. The food was delicious. I ordered the loaded steak and eggs. My daughter ordered the crunchy chilaquiles, and my grand daughter ordered the strawberry and banana waffles. I gave the loaded steak and eggs a 10/10. Their steak was perfectly seasoned. The mushrooms were a great addition to the dish. The crunchy chilaquiles were crunchy. Overall, this was an ok dish. Their red sauce that is a fan favorite wasn't really my favorite. It was not spicy. Really no flavor to me personally. My daughter enjoyed it though. We really liked the privacy the booths gave us. Indoor seating only. Not very big. We will definitely be back.

I returned on a busy Sunday afternoon, this time bringing my wife, who had never been before. As soon as we entered, I noticed the place was packed, which is always a good sign in my book. The service was much better this time, and we only waited about 20 minutes to be seated. To my surprise, my server was Mr. Malaquin again, and I knew I was in for excellent service. He brought us our complimentary pan dulces and drinks while we placed our order. I chose the Guacamole Toast with Eggs again, and my wife ordered the Asada Chilaquiles plate. The food was amazing, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed the restaurant and its customer service. We're looking forward to coming back again!

I came to Loaded cafe a couple weeks ago. The wait was minimal for a Sunday. The hostess was very friendly. There was a missing chair at the table we were seated at and she made sure to bring another chair even though we technically didn't need it. When she asked if we were ok with the table, I hesitated and she knew it was the missing chair. A male server took our order. I had the machaca and my friend ordered the strawberry banana nutella crepe meal, with a side of sausage, eggs. fries, & an horchata. My meal was extremely bland & watery. It had zero seasoning. The ketchup I put on the eggs saved it to be honest. My friend's crepe was delicious! The fries were seasoned well, but tasted like they were double fried in old oil. The horchata was pretty good. When it came out to paying the tab, we were charged about $45 which was fine. When we were charged & given the receipt to add a tip, it was $20 more. We immediately informed the waiter and had him correct the tab. Thank goodness my friend caught the oversight. Unacceptable! I don't foresee myself coming back here unless it's for a crepe. read more

The wait is not good at this place. One thing I did see is theyre very short staffed and when tables are available they don't clean them right away to allow others to sit. Parking isn't the greatest but if you're patient you'll find parking. The waiting area is tiny so you stand outside in the sun. This is a mix of Ihop / Mexican restaurant. Plenty of good and drink options. Because of how they conducted themselves while i watch 4 tables avaliable and them not seating us. I Will Not Return to this location read more

Service was 50/50. A young gentleman was my waiter & he was great, manager (older hispanic male) on the other hand, not great. I ordered chilaquiles with red spicy salsa, the salsa didn't taste like anything, literally tomatoes. I asked my waiter if i was given the correct sauce, he wasn't sure so he took it back, cooks claimed that it was the spicy one & the cooks said i couldn't get more that i would have to pay. Waiter offered another plate but no point if it was going to be the same "spicy red" salsa. I asked for manager, he didn't introduce, didn't greet, didn't apologize, i asked him if he tasted his own salsas for the day "no". I sent my plate back & just sat there watching my mom eat. My mom had asked for jalapenos on the side, specifically from the manager, he forgot about it never brought it, waiter brought it after having to remind them. Very disappointing visit. Thank you to the waiter that was very helpful & apologetic, but that manager should probably learn about hospitality or just simple "i'm sorry". but whatever, definitely won't be back read more

We were about 5th in line to be seated and it went by quickly. Only about 15 minutes after being told it would be about a half hour. Once we sat, we were greeted quickly and served quickly. Food was really good. I got the steak chunks torta with 2 eggs inside of it. It was really good. My wife got the breakfast combo also really good. The bacon was a little over cooked but not horrible. This is my 2nd time at this location and it's been a good experience. It does get crowded on the weekends, so the wait time is a long (45min-1hr on a Sunday morning). They bring out conchitas as their starters. I ordered little Piggy (eggs, hash brown , ham, and bacon) it was decent... they have a variety on their menu. I highly recommend this place. It is in a shopping center, parking was not difficult to find. Not sure if there AC does not work properly, but it does get a little warm in there . We will definitely be returning to this location in the future. read more

I came here with my friend... and we had the pancakes... they were dry!!! The service was okay! The one odd thing that happened was a lady trying to sell us her products came in the restaurant and bothered us while we were eating! I was so bothered by that and felt like it ruined my experience there because I just wanted to eat and I was disrupted and the lady wouldn't go away. The managers did nothing about it.. I ended up getting the asada chilaquiles the sauce was pretty good with a good kick of heat, I actually got both green and red sauce, tortillas weren't soggy as other places which is good. Sorry to tell you this but our experience here was a bust! Let's start with the service. We stepped in to a 10 minute wait and the dinning room was half empty. Dinning room was stale , stuffy and dirty. Waitress got a few things wrong while taking our order. Even after we corrected her she still brought a wrong item. The chilaquiles were salty, really salty. Beans were cold and tasted like doctored up Rosarito beans. Plates are small to give the appeal of a large serving but it's not. However the pancakes were pretty good and might be the only thing on the menu worth getting. The complimentary Conchita are ok but get hard really fast like they've been microwaved. Save your money! Not a good choice for breakfast. Be nice if you clean your dinning room, tables and the restrooms please. read more

Hello Family and friends how are you feeling this morning? I pray all's well with you and your families. Well I had the pleasure of visiting Loaded Cafe last Sunday and it makes me sad to say I had the piggy plate and the Brioche french toast and I was disappointed in the food the hash browns are frozen the sausage was nothing special nor was the bacon which was a bit on the salty side the eggs a little overcooked I asked for med scramble it was cheap dinner food, now that being said moving forward loose the frozen hash browns grate your potatoes put them in water and refrigerate them and use as needed try adding salt and pepper (ask your customers who might have blood pressure problems if they eat salt add minced onions your bacon fry crispy not hard and get a better quality of bacon sausage and ham and more egg dip on French toast will make a world of difference. Now please note this is a Mexican owned restaurant and they have a wonderful array of delicious Mexican dishes which might be fabulous I don't know because I just wanted a home cooked country breakfast and I must say the pastry they gave me was delicious!!! And the kindness and service was second to NONE and they were truly some of the kindest and welcoming people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and I will go back and try some of those Mexican dishes they are absolutely wonderful. And at the end of the day I give the food a 5 and the service an 12!!! Take Care !!! read more

Yes this is the Mexican Denny's.. so from the outside it's not greatest impression but not the worst either. Located in a shopping mall. Inside it looked like a Denny's. Super friendly staff, clean and cozy. Now as I opened the menu my stomach was jumping for joy!! Everything looked delicious .. with so many traditional breakfast itens with a Latin twist!! The Chilaquiles with steak was perfect. Steak was tender, juicy and flavorful, the tortillas were crispy soaked in a green and red sauce which was delicious. We went here about 3 weeks ago and it was awesome. We also went to the one in Long Beach about 4 months ago. They are a little busy so expect a wait time. But it's well worth it. They even give you little conchitas to go w your food while you wait. We can't wait for the one in Norwalk to open up. Showed up today to get breakfast, we've been here before and the food has been tasty but definitely slow service, I think my review before today would have been a 5 star for the food and maybe 4 stars for the service, but today I would give zero stars . We waited outside for about 20 minutes which is to be expected for a Sunday morning, it would have been nice if they had outdoor waiting seats for their patrons. I always come here with my father to talk and spend time together. The service has never disappointed. They are always polite and check in on us often. Now the food is amazing. It's slightly over priced I must say but the flavor never lacks. The chilaquiles are the perfect amount of spice as someone with a medium high spice tolerance. If you cannot handle spice I would not recommend getting the red sauce. The beans are also perfectly cooked and seasoned. And I cannot forget about the soft fluffy waffle. It was perfectly sweet and didn't even need syrup. The waffle also had a crisp outer crust that added a nice crunch to every bite. The restaurant is decently decoded but nothing to write home about. I have been trying to try this restaurant based on the Yelp reviews. Every time it was a long wait. Today I got right in. I ordered the Waffle combo with two eggs, hash browns and sausage. Very tasty. The waffle was nice and big. Our waiter Marco is a nice guy. The only negative I have to say is that the bottle of ketchup and the syrup were sticky. Located in an older strip mall, this place is a solid find for diner eats. The best thing about this place is the service. Or at least it was for me with Nicole as my waitress; her attentive, friendly service was very much appreciated. I was in the mood for "breakfast for lunch" so ordered the mini waffle plate (waffles, two eggs and a choice of bacon or sausage). I also ordered a coffee with vanilla creamer added for a bit of sweetness. During my short wait I enjoyed the classic 70s tunes playing (Jackson Browne, Linda Ronstadt, Chicago...). The coffee was really watered down. With the creamer it just tasted like sweet water. My scrambled eggs were a bit overcooked but not terrible. Bacon was thin but good. The thick waffle was the real winner - it was perfectly made, had good flavor, and gave me immeasurable waffle-pleasure. I drenched the two large halves with the provided plastic containers of syrup which were just barely enough to cover them. I had come to Loaded Cafe at this location before and absolutely loved the food. I brought my family today so that they could try it but today's experience was disappointing. I was so embarrassed as I had spoken highly of this place based on my previous experience. First off, the restaurant was super packed and there was no free sitting area. I had a person with a disability with me and had asked if they could please accommodate this individual by allowing her to sit in the area designated handicapped. They responded that the space was being occupied by a baby in a car seat and that they couldn't ask the individuals there to move. Now please keep in mind that the baby was in their car seat carrier. After finding out that the wait was 45 minutes, I convinced my group that it was worth the wait. Unfortunately, I should have paid attention to the signs. Perhaps it is under new management or we chose a bad day but it was such chaos. After siting and placing our order we were told to have patience as their kitchen was extremely busy and that food was going to take long. We proceeded to order our meals and they were out of some menu options. On top of being out of some dishes advertised on their menu, they were also out of ranch dressing and other condiments that complimented our meals. For example we ordered Buffalo wings as an appetizer and they did not have any dressing to go with our wings. I decided to overlook the little things but then I ordered a steak and eggs breakfast and I asked if I could please have a steak knife and I was told that they did not have any steak knives clean. Lol!!!! So you can imagine what it was like trying to cut my steak with a butter knife. If not, I have a video. Not to mention that I had asked for my steak to be cooked medium well and the rubbery dried piece of meat that they presented was a joke. I felt so bad for the servers. I can tell that they were trying their best but nonetheless it was the worst service that I have experienced in a while. I'm a foodie and I go out of my way to experience good food/ambiance. After missing the tortillas and attempting to eat the poor quality steak I decided to speak to the manager. She was apologetic and replaced my dish. (See pic). The steak was not only noticeably better looking but tastier as well. I stand on recommending this place for the good tasting food but the management of the restaurant and the attitude of some of the servers need work. Food is delicious, waiting time is horrendous, cleanliness is mediocre and customer service is poor. Would I eat there again? Yes but I would plan for an hour of waiting. read more

It's nice that parking is accessible in the front on Bellflower Blvd. and in the back parking lots. There are areas where you can sit on stools or on picnic benches. Also several corners where there's shaded trees and a swing bench. It's nice to have the eating area in the middle of the courtyard, but I really don't like the dirt area. But I get that it's probably easier for spills to be soaked up so people don't slip and it's less maintenance. If you're a fur-parent don't worry, there's even a couple bowls from which your pet can get fresh water from their drinking fountain. Or just bring your own bowl and fill it up at the water station. It's really a pet friendly place. We brought our Shih Tzu along and saw another dog sitting on the bench. Food choices are good, you can enjoy a beer and burger, tacos, Filipino/Korean fusion, Coffee, Boba, Argentinian food. There's also a big screen which they televise sports games. Price wise it's about $15-$20 per person for a complete meal.

If you have friends who don't like raw fish, they also have a good selection of cooked items - tempura, chicken teriyaki, udon noodles, etc. There's really something for everyone. They have a bunch of TVs and will usually have the game on if there is one. There's also a lot of street parking and free parking lots around since it's Downtown Bellflower. If you like good sushi for a good price, then Kikyo's definitely a place to check out.

Loaded Cafe Review I visited Loaded Cafe and ordered several items, including the steak and eggs, pancakes, Crunchy BBQ Cheeseburger burger, chicken tenders, fries, coffee, and menudo rojo. Overall, the portions were generous, the presentation was good, and most of the food was satisfying. The pancakes were cooked well, the breakfast plates were filling, and the burger, fries, and coffee were enjoyable. The only major disappointment was the menudo rojo. Unfortunately, the smell was extremely strong and unpleasant when it arrived, making it difficult to enjoy. In my opinion, the tripe may not have been cleaned thoroughly enough before preparation, which affected the smell and my overall experience with the dish. A good menudo should have a flavorful aroma, but this bowl had an overpowering odor that made it hard to eat. However, I want to give credit to the staff because they handled the situation professionally. They allowed me to change the menudo to steak chilaquiles at no additional charge, which I really appreciated. The replacement dish was a much better experience and showed that they care about customer satisfaction. Loaded Cafe has a great variety of menu options, good portions, and friendly service. Although the menudo was disappointing, the way they corrected the issue made a positive difference. Overall Rating: /5 Good food, generous portions, and great customer service. The wife and I came upon this gem of a restaurant that combines the best of American and Mexican cuisine, and let me tell you, it's a wonderful place to eat. food was ok, service was slow... but the kicker is that when our food was brought out to our table our waitress handed a piping hot plate to my wife with no warning or a towel to protect her hand, all while reaching over my head to hand the plate off. After my wife grabbed the plate and then dropped it on the table, our waitress gave a little gasp and then just wandered off. After looking at my wife's fingers, I asked for a manager so I could get a room temp towel to soothe the fingers. after a weak apology and little to no concern for my wife's well being, we finished and got up to leave, I handed my check to the manager who then proceeded to ring us up full charge and then just summarily dismissed us without any formal apology or acknowledgement. read more

We stopped by this place for breakfast. Overall it was a good experience. The wait was a bit long since it was a holiday but honestly food was good so it was worth the wait. I ordered the Surprise Surprise and I really enjoyed it even though it was a bit greasy for my taste. Country potatos were slightly dry but yet again the food was delicious and prepared well so I enjoyed eating it. My girlfriend ordered the little piggy and she was very happy with it. Considering all the facts I recommend this place for breakfast even though the have a full menus but since I didn't try lunch or dinner items I can't say anything about that but based on the menus and the way food was prepared I can guess that the lunch and dinner items should be delicious read more

My boyfriend and I came in today, a slow and non/ busy Tuesday morning. The host asked us to wait 5 minutes for a table and we did. A couple minutes later, a family of 4 comes in and they are immediately sat right away. The host then gave us a table I wasn't comfortable at so he accommodated us somewhere else. A waiter then approached us with sweets and said she would be back. However she moved to the table next to us with the same family and began taking their order first. Well, I am back! I think this is now my fifth time back and it's gotten better and better each time. Service was great this time! Waiter was friendly and helpful. It was Christmas Christmas Eve morning and a friend and I were looking for breakfast spot that would be open. I called and the staff was great and told us to come on by. There was a five minute wait. Food was delicious! As always, we love the fresh conchitas that are served free with your drinks. I had the French toast this time and it is special! So much flavor! It's a dessert! The food here was satisfactory and the pancakes stood out as the best part of our meal. They failed to meet the expectations that people had about it. I was looking for a good breakfast place around my moms and when I clicked on this place I thought why not give it a try. I wasn't sure if it was the same owner as the one in Gardena. When I came in and saw the menu I knew that it was a clone of my favorite breakfast place in Gardena! This place is so much bigger. They did an absolutely great job designing it. I work in Long Beach and always go to their Long Beach location since it's on the way to work. I actually live in Bellflower and I can finally take my family to eat this delicious breakfast. I'm a big loaded cafe restaurant fan, I never go anywhere else since their breakfast plates are so good. I'm always sampling their crepes usually I over eat because everything is too delicious not to try lol it's definitely waaayyy better then IHOP breakfast restaurant, these guys truly know how to cook up a good meal. I truly love loaded cafe breakfast restaurant in Gardena and since Im very close living next city to Bellflower I can now have Loaded cafe restaurant close to me and enjoy the most awesome breakfast food ever! Dont go to Denny's IHOP or Norms this is THE SPOT! I always get the caramel banana crepes in Gardena restaurant I hope their new restaurant in bellflower is as good as the others. As always the steak and mushroom plate with the mashed potatoes is my absolute favorite and loaded cafe never disappoints!!! I've came here before but today was just a horrible experience. We got sat after 35 min when we were told it would only be a 10 min wait. All the tables were empty, but when they finally called us in to be seated. To our surprise we got seated only by dirty tables. The green chilaquiles are bomb. Crispy and saucy just the way I like. The hash browns were nice and crispy as well. 10/10. Service was on point as well.
