I'm a little bit on the fence as far as my feelings for this place. My wife and I had breakfast here on one of my rare days off. I'd seen so many great Yelp reviews that I figured it was worth a visit. But my experience was both pleasant and slightly disappointing. I'll try to keep it short & sweet(ish)... The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. The surrounding area doesn't look the nicest or most welcoming. The inside of the restaurant is pretty basic but has some nice wall decor with inspirational saying on them. The place is relatively small although they do try to make use of all available floor space as possible. This is both a blessing and a curse since it means more access to seating, but in very close proximity to other patrons at times. Let's get down to the food... which in my opinion is good, but not great. The menu selection is plentiful with all your usual egg, omelette and pancake options. And they have crepes, which is a major plus in my book! Portions sizes are pretty generous and pricing is very reasonable. But as far as taste, everything was more or less A-OK to me. For me, nothing really stood out as being exceptional. As previously stated by other Yelpers, it does seem like the owner has connections to IHOP since the pancakes taste similar and the various syrup flavors are identical. IHOP quality food for little diner prices and great service to boot makes this a solid 4-star spot in my opinion. A great breakfast spot for the locals or anyone else that might be in the area. It'd probably be my Go-To place if I lived close by. But for everyone else, it's probably not worth the trek since you can find equally good breakfast spots that are closer to where you live. read more

I recently visited Loaded Cafe with high hopes after seeing their impressive social media presence. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. The restaurant wasn't busy, but cleanliness seemed to be an issue with dirty plates on several tables. While the complimentary warm mini concha was a nice touch, the service was lacking. I struggled to get a simple coffee refill and had to repeatedly ask different servers. For our meal, my coworker opted for steak and eggs, and I chose the chile verde, which was recommended as popular and moderately spicy. The salsa, however, was overwhelmingly spicy, far beyond the expected level. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our food took 30 minutes to arrive. My coworker's portion was so small it resembled a child's meal, and my dish was equally disappointing in size and presentation - especially for the $17 price tag. The chile verde's color and taste were nothing like the menu's depiction. Again, service for refills was poor. I had read about the owners' journey in starting the business, which seemed promising, but it appears the focus has shifted away from essentials like menu quality and customer service. The diverse menu seems to lack a clear direction, and the fusion of American and Mexican cuisine falls short in execution. Based on this experience, I cannot justify a return visit. Paying $50 for such unsatisfactory meals and service was not worthwhile. It's a reminder that great marketing doesn't always translate to a quality dining experience. I've never done a review but I want to give credit to a great dining experience. We walk in and immediately hear a shout from the back welcoming us. We stood there for about a or two and the server APRIL came out with full plates in hand saying she'd be with us shortly. The manager MARIA came out right after with drinks in hand and then got our table ready. Our server was APRIL and she informed us that she would be with us shortly as she had several tasks to do which I really admired. MARIA dropped us off fresh warm conchas while we waited. When APRIL came she was very sweet and informative and also apologized about the wait which we didn't mind as our party are restaurant workers as well and understand. The food was really good and APRIL'S recommendation of using the green Sriracha for an added kick was really good. APRIL was really pleasant through whole experience even though sweat covered she always had a smile on her face. MARIA charged us and was very sweet as well . I originally was just going to do a 5 star review for free the crepe but didn't even bother asking about it because they were understaffed which my whole party understood (I'm a GM of a restaurant as the rest of the party were managers of various positions) with the whole "situation" businesses are slower so staffing so we completely understood. We had a wonderful breakfast at Loaded Cafe this morning. The food was delicious across the board -- French toast, eggs, sausage, asada chilaquiles, and great coffee. Everything was flavorful, satisfying, and clearly made with care. What really elevated the experience, though, was our server April. Her service was impeccably warm, friendly, and welcoming -- the kind that makes you feel genuinely taken care of, not rushed. Steer clear of this place. I tried to give them a chance and boy do I regret it. Place is called "loaded" and that's exactly what my toilet got. Immediately after eating here I could not stop vomiting. Im almost certain I got food poisoning. They are an overpriced Denny's, parking is limited, and they had a fly issue in the restaurant !! Save your $ stay far away from this place as possible. I was trying to narrow down what I ate and unfortunately my cousin got sick as well, after eating the food I purchased for her, so that pretty much verify my suspicions. read more

Excellent food. They also have fresh smoothies made. I just wish it was more affordable! They charge for Everything!! With that being said.. they Do have a lot of options to choose from so you don't have to add onto your meal if you choose to (for example if i wanted spinach amd bacon added to an omelet or something). On a positive note they give a good size portion for the kids pancake meal.. so we usually get that and add am extra egg or sausage if we feel more hungry. This place is just ridiculous!!.. first of all waited 30 minutes to get a table.. server finally comes to take our order, no chocolate syrup, no strawberry lemonade, no nacho cheese, no baked potatoe soup... 20 minutes after we ordered the manger comes to inform NO BUFFALO SAUCE!! .. ok whatever I let that go and continued to wait for our food.. it took exactly 48 minutes to get my dish but the worst part was it took another 20 minutes for my boyfriend to receive his dish AFTER MINE !! ... this place is just a joke ... Had a lovely meal as a pre mothers day treat today. It was our first time trying this place and glad we gave it a shot! We got there and the hostess April greeted us with a friendly smile and informed us of the wait and added us to the list. We were seated sooner than expected by her and Leslie was our server. She recommended some great food which we didn't wait long for either. This is just sad... we usually love going here when they're open and we've missed it. So we decided to order takeout and it just lacked completely! See photos. The potatoes in my omelette were uncooked and who doesn't put cheese in an omelette?? The pancakes were so dry, the batter must have been too thick. And the sausage breakfast burrito was so sad. Couldn't even finish it. Take your time and cook the food thoroughly please. Times are tough in this pandemic, we get it. But our food should still be good quality. read more

Loaded café has an amazing variety breakfast lunch, and dinner. Im a food person, love food and I do have to tip my hat to loaded cafe. Very taste food. And to top it off amazing service . Shout out to Maria . She make you feel welcomed. There is one issue. I strongly believe loaded cafe should be more advertised. Maybe a billboard or bigger sign. It feel almost hidden. Located in a little strip mall area it is hard to tell what will stand out. However loaded kitchen Cafe is a wonderful exception in a crowded market of restaurants and cafes. Its unique blend of diner and Latin food combination absolutely sets itself apart and scores big with its community and new audiences.
