The server suggested the most popular dishes, though I went for my staple chilaquiles breakfast that I try everywhere. I really enjoyed them. The complimentary conchita was a plus. Paired well with the horchata coffee. Would return for sure.

This morning, my wife and I visited this restaurant for the first time. I'm glad we did. We had a very good breakfast to start off the day. I ordered the basic combo which comes with eggs, hashbrowns, your choice of 2 pieces of bacon/sausage, and buttermilk pancakes. I got scrambled eggs, one sausage, and one piece of bacon with the hashbrowns and buttermilk pancakes. My wife ordered the same combo except with two pieces of bacon, eggs cooked over easy, and crepes. Before our orders came out, we got a plate with a couple of mini conchas on it. The conchas were a tasty and sweet surprise. The orders came out pretty fast. The scrambled eggs were warm and fluffy. The hashbrowns were nice and crispy. The entire meal was satisfying. My wife did notice that her crepes were a little undercooked, but overall, she enjoyed her meal as well. I think the service here was solid, not phenomenal. Even though, we were the only customers dining in the restaurant, we weren't really checked upon until we were ready for the check. That's not to say that the staff were just standing around doing nothing. There were a handful of people coming in for takeout and delivery orders. They helped with that. Additionally, a couple of the restaurant employees were diligently cleaning the ceiling of the restaurant. They keep this place very tidy and clean, which I can appreciate. I'm not sure why this place isn't more popular. Their dishes are reasonably priced and of high quality. I would recommend this place. I think it's better than a lot of the larger and well known chain restaurants who serve breakfast.

I was in town with my mom for a concert. We wanted to go to Norms for breakfast the day after the show but their power was out. We stumbled upon this place and we are so happy we did! We came in with a little rush of others so we had to wait maybe 10-15 minutes before we were sat. It looked like there were only 2 waitress working and no bussers. They were both very nice considering how busy it got. My mom and I split some scrambled eggs and hash browns and bacon. I also ordered the French toast and my mom had some sort of crepes. Coffee was good too! I would definitely recommend checking this place out! We also loved the panecitos we got while waiting for our food :)

Such a delicious diner! Definitely a hidden gem in the rough. It was a Monday morning and I had a vet appointment in the area. It was 8:30am and hadn't eaten yet needed to wait so why not go to a local diner. Loaded was at the top of my Yelp app and it filled me perfectly. Easy, strip mall parking and as a weekday, it was a breeze getting a booth by myself. The one waitress serving the customers was very sweet and felt comfortable right away. The diner itself is newish, clean and modern. Menu-wise, there's a Latino flair which makes it all delish! I like there's the Crepe Combo which is really good! The plain crepes have a soft sweetness and I opted for sausage and poached eggs. It came with a side of concha which seemed to have a dash of cinnamon and I wolfed it down! To drink, I had a horchata latte and that's really sweet! A great meal - I'd definitely go back if I'm In the area. Thanks!

I had high expectations before getting here. The Warm panecitos and the Orchata latte were the best. I was personally disappointed on the food. CANNOT say it was bad, but it was definitely none-eventful. The chilaquiles had yellow cheese and that was the nail in the coffin for me. I was looking for authentic yummy Mexican food. The enchiladas had yellow cheese! As well.... The service was great. She was very informative and amicable. The ambiance was good (not too loud) and it had a relaxed family atmosphere. I will more than likely not be back.

We had great service by April! She was so patient and able to explain all the dishes we had questions on. She also suggested alternative ways on how we could order the dish. The food was delicious! The atmosphere was great. They moved to a bigger location, which is awesome. The Service was OK. Waitress was attentive, but she had to be intentionally because first the coffee mug was served with lipstick rings on there. Then the second coffee mug came, the half-and-half was poured inside the coffee, but the half-and-half was spoiled. So we 86 the coffee. Besides that the food was good I would come back. FYI the restrooms need a face lift.

Complimentary conchas! Yes please! Located in a shopping center with plenty of parking this spot gets packed on the weekends but came in here on a weekday and still was pretty busy! I can see why! Service and food were great! I got the Machaca breakfast burrito, really tasty- I think if they had a cold red salsa it would make it top tier! My daughter got the kids pancake breakfast. Delicious and the comfort of your ideal cafe. Recommend!

We waited for 20 minutes to get our order. It wasn't even busy and I asked for egg whites. Clearly from the photo it's not egg whites. Horrible place. Never ever coming here. Fuck this place. Our Server Angel was very friendly. He gave us a lot of attention and checked up on us frequently. The food was good, definitely would try the sauces they have to offer to add more to the meal. The food is not the greatest, chilaquiles tasted like canned sauce. It took about 1 1/2 hours from when I checked in to time we left. They had open tables, still waited 30 minutes for table for 2 people. Our server was really nice. They need more workers and some organization. read more

I've been to other pancake houses, but much farther out. I am so glad this spotbis right around the corner from my work place. Now there is no need to drive all the way to Manhattan Beach or long Beach for decent breakfast when I can have a great one here. Wowowowow. Came here for breakfast after landing at LAX and was super satisfied. I came on a Friday morning and it was pretty busy, but the wait for a table for 2 was less than 5 min. Groups larger than 4 would have to wait longer since there's only a couple tables that could accommodate that size. Ambiance is homey diner feel. Clean but could use a renovation. Service was friendly, fast, and polite. Drip coffee was decent and free refills. The menu is breakfast brunch heavy with a good amount of Mexican takes on common favorites. We opted for one sweet dish (the strawberry almond cream cheese crepe- $8) and one savory dish (the sirloin stacker- $16). The crepe was well done- thin and cooked well, with generous toppings. The sirloin stacker was essentially an egg scramble with tender strips of steak and lots of different veggies and cheese with a side of hash browns. Was really impressed by how tender juicy and flavorful the steak was. The hot sauces at the tables are a must! The peron was our favorite, so much that we bought one to bring with us ($3). Overall had a great meal and experience here and will be back if we're in the area! read more

Great service , and food is delicious 10/10 recommend! The caramel latte was good , I didn't have to add any additional flavor. Wish I would have ordered the flight to taste more drinks lol. Staff is great ; I lost my phone in the couch and struggled for about 10/15 min and less than 5 min the staff came to the rescue and helped ! I appreciate them ! Service was terrible , as soon we sat down ordered drinks and food . 20 minutes later still waiting for drinks ( water & coffee ) . 25 minutes later water and coffee finally arrived . 35 minutes into our experience our food has arrived . Waiter came to check in on us 1 time and we asked for check . Food was okay . Once we were ready to leave the checks still had not come to our table and we seen our waiter talking to other employees circling around the back to avoid our table . The eggs were nicely done and the pancakes were really good. The bacon was alright. I really liked how clean the food tasted, especially the potato hash. The prices are affordable if you order the combination. If you go for the regular pancakes with no frills you save a bit more. I catered from them and it was nicely prepared. read more

Per my mom "estuvo muy buena la comida; muy ricas las aguas (trío) y los cafés (trío); muy atenta la muchacha Mell. Per my dad "yo soy bien delicado y todo fue de mi agrado. Tenemos que regresar a comer la carnita de puerco con chile verde porque se les acabó". My parents truly enjoyed themselves and they both are "de rancho" rarely does anything impress them when it comes to food. Mell was very cordial, warm, and welcoming. Well, it's been quite a while since we dined here and, after tonight, we are wondering why we…read moredidn't come back sooner. The last time we were here, it was during a busy lunch and both the service and the food were below par. But tonight, it wasn't as busy and our server, Geovani, was excellent. First, we were quickly greeted and asked to select our table (since they were not that busy). Since there was only two of us, we picked a table for two. But, after we decided that we would split an appetizer and an entree, the table for two became way to small way too quickly. Geovani jumped right on this, suggesting we move to a larger table. He helped us move everything over and, voila, we were able to stretch out and relax and enjoy our meal. We started with the pear and blue cheese salad and, wow, we could have just ordered this, split it, and we would have been full. Very flavorful, generous portion that is definitely big enough to share. We also ordered the Sausage & Leek Fettuccine and I was definitely not thinking. Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. I asked, "Are you sure?", and he immediately said yes and removed the dish. Very shortly after, he returned with the "onion sterile" dish and it was wonderful. Both of us were so full you could have rolled us out the door. Good thing the parking garage is so close so we could just hop in our car and go home. Time to loosen the belt! ;) In a week where we have had some personal issues, it was so nice to be treated so well and received such a great tasting meal. Came to sit down and despite the place having many tables, the person by the door insisted that we have all of party present to seat us, which is understandable if they are busy but they were not even 50% full, when I said my brother was right there walking down the street, he insisted to hold his ground. Then literally 30 seconds later my brother is here, then I tell him he is right right there, he goes "ok, I will let you know when a table is ready", why not use stove common sense & say that a table is not even ready? Sounds like steering maybe because of the 4 kids ? Maybe something else? Very rude and I'm acceptable behavior. Then to add to it, turns out I was talking to the manager "Ello", who is acting in your face and challenging you more like a night club bouncer than a "manager" at a cafe....

Chilaquiles were mid. Nothing special, also lacked seasonings. The pancakes were the worse pancakes I've ever tasted. Tasted like flour or pancake mixture. Our server rarely came to our table to help us. We had to wait about 15 minutes for the check. Not sure if they were understaffed our what. Considering our section has no people besides us.

They greet you when you arrive and also say goodbye when you leave, which I really appreciate. They have a separate kids menu with plenty of options. The overall menu is diverse as well. It's not just breakfast, but also tacos, pancakes, sandwiches, and salads. My go-to dish is the Original Loaded Hash Browns. It's really delicious and the portion size is just right. I also tried the Cobb salad with added chicken. It was fresh, but the dressing was a bit heavy and slightly salty. Unfortunately, I found a small piece of plastic in it, but when I mentioned it, they handled it well and removed it from the bill. The music is good, but the speakers don't seem to be in great condition, so the sound quality could be better.

I ordered the shrimp and grits with a scrambled egg. The egg was nice and fluffy - perfectly cooked. Really loved the flavor from the shrimp and the sausage. The bell peppers added a nice touch and it had a noticeable Cajun seasoning. Not the best shrimp and grits I ever had but definitely far from the worst. I would definitely order it again. For desert we ordered the lemon drop pancakes. Definitely a unique flavor that I've never had before. Per the name, it was definitely on the sweet side.

For yakitori, we tried the chicken wings and the chicken meatball. The meatball was amusingly served as one giant chicken-sicle! The wings had great flavor, though the skin was a bit too fatty. My husband also ordered a pork cutlet bowl, and we shared a sashimi plate with scallop, cod, salmon, and two types of tuna. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious. We also shared the jidori egg and seaweed salad. Out of everything we ordered, my favorites were definitely the sashimi, the shrimp and scallop tempura, and the jidori egg. They do take reservations, but when we visited on a Sunday night, we were lucky enough to be seated right away. Dining here really felt like being back in Japan, and we'll definitely return.

Mine came with some dipping sauce for the tempura. Considering the amount of food I was very satisfied. The tempura was gorgeously crafted with semi thin crisped batter, and a decent amount portioned. I was mostly amazed by my girlfriends pork plate. Their crisp cutlet had beautifully made with an easy crunchy exterior and soft tender pork savory to taste. All elements complimented each other perfectly. Their soba was also good quality and a nice touch to an already balanced dinner. While I was exactly stuffed after dinner, i was still impressed with their entree presentation, quality of food, calming ambiance and great service.

The California rolls were well made and flavorful. Tempura Combo: The shrimps were tender, however, the battered outer layer of the tempura was a tad thick and not quite airy. Like Fish Combo, the udon had a bland broth, and the California rolls were fine. Our main issue was the 50-minute wait time for the meals. As a courtesy, the restaurant definitely should have informed us about the delay.

Ran by the sweetest ladies, this place is cozy and always makes you feel at home. Having been featured in the Michelin Guide, you'll understand why when you come here. Their specialty is Thai breakfast, with an assortment of rice and noodle dishes like Khao Soi, Thai Omelette, Thai-Style Hainan Chicken, etc. However, for all the dishes I have tried here, I always find myself coming back for the Thai Omelette! There's a kick of nostalgia whenever I eat here, and I love the feeling you get when eating the food here. If you ever need your fix, come here first and come back for more!

Sweet Rice is my #1 restaurant that I recommend to everyone to try!…read more Everything here tastes so good and since it's more of a "breakfast" spot, it has items on the menu that your typical Thai restaurant doesn't have. My go-to items are the Thai Omelette with Shrimp, Roast Duck Noodle Soup, Tom Yum noodle soup, and Cha Manao which is Thai Tea with Lime. Gardena has so many great restaurants and Sweet Rice is such a great addition to the community! The plaza that it's in has other yummy restaurants and boba/dessert as well.

I'm a little bit on the fence as far as my feelings for this place. My wife and I had breakfast here on one of my rare days off. I'd seen so many great Yelp reviews that I figured it was worth a visit. But my experience was both pleasant and slightly disappointing. I'll try to keep it short & sweet(ish)... The restaurant is located in a small strip mall. The surrounding area doesn't look the nicest or most welcoming. The inside of the restaurant is pretty basic but has some nice wall decor with inspirational saying on them. The place is relatively small although they do try to make use of all available floor space as possible. This is both a blessing and a curse since it means more access to seating, but in very close proximity to other patrons at times. Let's get down to the food... which in my opinion is good, but not great. The menu selection is plentiful with all your usual egg, omelette and pancake options. And they have crepes, which is a major plus in my book! Portions sizes are pretty generous and pricing is very reasonable. But as far as taste, everything was more or less A-OK to me. For me, nothing really stood out as being exceptional. As previously stated by other Yelpers, it does seem like the owner has connections to IHOP since the pancakes taste similar and the various syrup flavors are identical. IHOP quality food for little diner prices and great service to boot makes this a solid 4-star spot in my opinion. A great breakfast spot for the locals or anyone else that might be in the area. It'd probably be my Go-To place if I lived close by. But for everyone else, it's probably not worth the trek since you can find equally good breakfast spots that are closer to where you live. read more

I recently visited Loaded Cafe with high hopes after seeing their impressive social media presence. Unfortunately, the experience was a letdown. The restaurant wasn't busy, but cleanliness seemed to be an issue with dirty plates on several tables. While the complimentary warm mini concha was a nice touch, the service was lacking. I struggled to get a simple coffee refill and had to repeatedly ask different servers. For our meal, my coworker opted for steak and eggs, and I chose the chile verde, which was recommended as popular and moderately spicy. The salsa, however, was overwhelmingly spicy, far beyond the expected level. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our food took 30 minutes to arrive. My coworker's portion was so small it resembled a child's meal, and my dish was equally disappointing in size and presentation - especially for the $17 price tag. The chile verde's color and taste were nothing like the menu's depiction. Again, service for refills was poor. I had read about the owners' journey in starting the business, which seemed promising, but it appears the focus has shifted away from essentials like menu quality and customer service. The diverse menu seems to lack a clear direction, and the fusion of American and Mexican cuisine falls short in execution. Based on this experience, I cannot justify a return visit. Paying $50 for such unsatisfactory meals and service was not worthwhile. It's a reminder that great marketing doesn't always translate to a quality dining experience. I've never done a review but I want to give credit to a great dining experience. We walk in and immediately hear a shout from the back welcoming us. We stood there for about a or two and the server APRIL came out with full plates in hand saying she'd be with us shortly. The manager MARIA came out right after with drinks in hand and then got our table ready. Our server was APRIL and she informed us that she would be with us shortly as she had several tasks to do which I really admired. MARIA dropped us off fresh warm conchas while we waited. When APRIL came she was very sweet and informative and also apologized about the wait which we didn't mind as our party are restaurant workers as well and understand. The food was really good and APRIL'S recommendation of using the green Sriracha for an added kick was really good. APRIL was really pleasant through whole experience even though sweat covered she always had a smile on her face. MARIA charged us and was very sweet as well . I originally was just going to do a 5 star review for free the crepe but didn't even bother asking about it because they were understaffed which my whole party understood (I'm a GM of a restaurant as the rest of the party were managers of various positions) with the whole "situation" businesses are slower so staffing so we completely understood. I dined at this Loaded Café yesterday and returned for a second day, both times enjoying their incredible breakfast. Norma served me on the first day, and on my return, Mel and Angel provided EXCEPTIONAL service just as Norma did yesterday. The staff at Lodi Café is truly amazing, reflecting warm hospitality and a genuine passion for ensuring a delightful dining experience. The café itself is charming and well-captivating, creating an inviting ambiance perfect for a morning meal. As for the food, the breakfast at Loaded Café is absolutely amazing. I decided to indulge in two classic brunch dishes: the biscuits & gravy and a crepe. The biscuits & gravy were absolutely divine fluffy, buttery biscuits smothered in a rich, creamy gravy that had just the right amount of pepper and seasoning. We had a wonderful breakfast at Loaded Cafe this morning. The food was delicious across the board -- French toast, eggs, sausage, asada chilaquiles, and great coffee. Everything was flavorful, satisfying, and clearly made with care. What really elevated the experience, though, was our server April. Her service was impeccably warm, friendly, and welcoming -- the kind that makes you feel genuinely taken care of, not rushed. Hello thank you Jules (not her actual name I'm just improvising) for letting take ALL the splendas . She is the best server I asked her for another 30 and she gave me the entire box she said "here take it's on the house" april was very nice tho she politely asked me to put it back because i knew (myself) i was doing too much.....lol i lied April never said anything because she's so nice in fact she saved my asshole because she in fact saw me getting rudely stared at so she confronted the guy and he was so creepy and perverted!!!!! thank you so much April you're my goat read more

Steer clear of this place. I tried to give them a chance and boy do I regret it. Place is called "loaded" and that's exactly what my toilet got. Immediately after eating here I could not stop vomiting. Im almost certain I got food poisoning. They are an overpriced Denny's, parking is limited, and they had a fly issue in the restaurant !! Save your $ stay far away from this place as possible. I was trying to narrow down what I ate and unfortunately my cousin got sick as well, after eating the food I purchased for her, so that pretty much verify my suspicions. read more

Excellent food. They also have fresh smoothies made. I just wish it was more affordable! They charge for Everything!! With that being said.. they Do have a lot of options to choose from so you don't have to add onto your meal if you choose to (for example if i wanted spinach amd bacon added to an omelet or something). On a positive note they give a good size portion for the kids pancake meal.. so we usually get that and add am extra egg or sausage if we feel more hungry. Pancakes and omelets are Very good here.. so we put up with the price. read more

This place is just ridiculous!!.. first of all waited 30 minutes to get a table.. server finally comes to take our order, no chocolate syrup, no strawberry lemonade, no nacho cheese, no baked potatoe soup... 20 minutes after we ordered the manger comes to inform NO BUFFALO SAUCE!! .. ok whatever I let that go and continued to wait for our food.. it took exactly 48 minutes to get my dish but the worst part was it took another 20 minutes for my boyfriend to receive his dish AFTER MINE !! ... this place is just a joke ... Had a lovely meal as a pre mothers day treat today. It was our first time trying this place and glad we gave it a shot! We got there and the hostess April greeted us with a friendly smile and informed us of the wait and added us to the list. We were seated sooner than expected by her and Leslie was our server. She recommended some great food which we didn't wait long for either. Food was good. Everything tasted fresh and well prepared, and the portions were satisfying. This is just sad... we usually love going here when they're open and we've missed it. So we decided to order takeout and it just lacked completely! See photos. The potatoes in my omelette were uncooked and who doesn't put cheese in an omelette?? The pancakes were so dry, the batter must have been too thick. And the sausage breakfast burrito was so sad. Couldn't even finish it. Take your time and cook the food thoroughly please. Times are tough in this pandemic, we get it. But our food should still be good quality. read more

Loaded café has an amazing variety breakfast lunch, and dinner. Im a food person, love food and I do have to tip my hat to loaded cafe. Very taste food. And to top it off amazing service . Shout out to Maria . She make you feel welcomed. There is one issue. I strongly believe loaded cafe should be more advertised. Maybe a billboard or bigger sign. It feel almost hidden. Located in a little strip mall area it is hard to tell what will stand out. However loaded kitchen Cafe is a wonderful exception in a crowded market of restaurants and cafes. Its unique blend of diner and Latin food combination absolutely sets itself apart and scores big with its community and new audiences. Do yourself a favor and remember the name as I think more will continue to pop up in a market that desperately needs of more loaded kitchen cafes read more

I am so happy we found it. everything is amazingly great tasting. The pricing is very fair and decent. The portions are huge. My only issue when we go here is deciding on one thing.
